They ran their tests, charged me a fee and could not replicate the failure. Once I got the computer home, it crashed once the game was being played and they said they did everything they could and I was out of luck. I decided months later to see Adam at nerd rangers. He was very thorough in gaining background on the issue. He asked me whether the other repair shop tried to run the actual game? I was not sure so he went ahead and loaded Fortnite and said he would do his best to replicate the issue. Later that day he reached out to let me know that he believes he found the reason the game crashed (as it did for him) and he felt confident that he fixed the issue. When I went to pick up the computer he reassured me that if for some reason the fix didn't work he would continue to work with me to identify the problem. My 9 year old spent a lot of the spring whining about getting kicked off zooms and I have to admit that I'd be pretty annoyed if that was happening to my work calls. One week into fall e-learning and I told my husband we had to look into upgrading our wifi again. A bunch of people had suggested the Eero pro drastically improved their lives. He bought it and called Paul's Winnetka TV to install it. Paul showed up (masked of course) a few days later and told us we didn't need the pricey Eero and he could make our wifi oh so much better, especially in the rooms where it wasn't working as well (mostly my daughter's corner room upstairs and my husband's office in the basement). I'm not really sure what he did (some sort of re-rerouting), but he spent many hours here and our internet works perfectly in every room. It's always worked well in my office, but it's extra fast now, which I love. And most importantly no complaints from our resident 9 year old whiner. He charged us $400, which was less than the Eero (we returned it). He even showed up a few days later as promised with wood shelves to go under the routers and very patiently helped me re-connect my printer to the network. I've heard of so many others having network issues as we adjust to our temporary lives working/schooling at home and would highly recommend giving Paul a call.

Even though I did not buy the equipment from innovative concepts they had no hesitation about hooking up my speakers. Within 30 minutes(probably less) Calvin called and asked questions and his demeanor was calm and reassuring. The Chicago Can't Do is not in the vocabulary with Calvin. He came in and hooked up my speakers and 2 subwoofers and calibrated them. He knows what he's doing. He had to go to Walmart and get a wire for one of the amps. He did so with no complaints. Then we tested the speakers. The sound quality was amazing. Of course watching movies was the main purpose for the new receiver and speakers. I had to try out music. I cued up Love to Love You by Donna Summers. Calvin tweeked my receiver to play stereo when playing music. This was like being in a club with a great sound system. The sound quality was absolutely amazing for an Apple Music song. The price was reasonable. And the service excellent. Calvin recommended getting a 2 channel amp to maximize my systems capabilities. This saved me 1500 dollars because he was praising the virtues of Marantz receivers and I was ready to buy in my next pay check. Then he thought about it and recommended the 2 channel amp even though I had been willing to buy the expensive receiver. This shows that Calvin and his company are trustworthy.
