We had been looking for a company to install our new home theater for over two months and every company was looking to almost half of what we spent on the components themselves... I have never experienced a more rude or unprofessional exchange than I did with the owner of this company. I simply asked for further information detailing the breakdown of the quote, as I just wanted to understand the pricing. When I asked for clarification of one simple price quote, I was treated with disrespect and truly disgusting behavior. We first hired Samuel a couple years ago to install surround sound, wall-mount a TV, hide our many pieces of technology from sight (so many wires...) and figure out how to eliminate the 7,000 different remote controls we had at the time. Samuel helped us figure out the best way to get everything done, and took care of it from start to finish, from helping us choose the best equipment for our needs through installation. Recently we added a couple of apps and our Roku went on the fritz, so he came back to troubleshoot for us. He did some research in advance of coming over, and even bought a new Roku on his way to our place just in case our issue was equipment-related, noting that he would return it on his own time if we ended up not needing it. I hired Elite Home Theatre to install a sound bar adjacent to my television. The technician was here for 3 hours and charged me $300 and told me that more work would need to be done for the sound bar to work fully due to something with my router set up and left, later providing me a quote of $1,800 to do that work. Our usually flawless WiFi performance was awful the following week, wreaking havoc for me at work and for my children in remote school. I was so frustrated and finally caved and told my 12 year old son that he could have a look and see if he could fix it. Within 20 minutes, he had the internet working at full strength again and the sound bar functioning fully. The same work that Elite Home Theatre wanted an additional $1,800 to do. So I spent $300 in order to get a sound bar mounted essentially and laid for it further with a week of awful internet connection, but avoided paying another $1,800 for work that my twelve year old did during his school lunch break. Unless you are looking for a hassle and have money to burn, I aggressively recommend that you avoid using this vendor. read more

We met Samuel of Elite Home Theatre in 2010 after a major disaster that flooded our entire basement and had to be gutted and completely renovated. We were able to save our tv and wanted to mount it. Elite Home Theatre came in after the basement was finished, mounted the tv, installed and set up the home theatre system, hid all wires including the rear speakers. A harmony remote was installed twice because after trying to remember how to operate it, we switched to the remote with the visual screen. Elite Home Theater has always been our company of choice for all our electronic needs since then. Samuel has mounted tv's, moved them and remounted as we rearranged rooms and our needs changed. His most recent job started with a remount of a new smart tv for the family room and he remounted the speakers and reprogrammed the harmony remote. Of course we discovered that our old home theatre system would not give us access to all the functions of the smart tv, so after consulting with Samuel, a new home theatre system was added.
