Called Allstate to cancel my request and then another 30 min later I get a call from tow truck driver saying he is on the way to get me and will be there in 20 min. Guy sounded drunk and stoned on phone. Told him I canceled said thanks and hung up phone. Worthless Tow company. Any review over 1 is made up to make them look good. We called the insurance company and they said they'll be with us in 17 min. The insurance company tried calling them and they won't answer. Then I check again for their arrival time it says 18 minutes, then 4 minutes then another 17 minutes. I requested the service at 1 pm, it's 3 pm and they never showed up. They never answered their phone to tell us their ETA nor they reached out to apologize for the constant delay. Finally one of the neighbors ended up helping us with the battery.

I was unfortunate to lose the air conditioner in my Truck while traveling through Houston with a 40 foot trailer accompanied by my wife and two small boys. I checked into an RV park near Oak Ridge Car Clinic's location and the were recommended by my neighbor in the park. I am on deadline to travel to Amarillo, and needed my truck fixed ASAP. I called them on a Friday and said I needed to be back on the road Tuesday, could they help. I spoke with the Father who told me to come for a diagnosis. He said I needed a new compressor and belt, they were shot. He said if he could get the parts he could get it done on Monday. He claimed that he spent Friday afternoon and Saturday morning searching for the parts and they simply weren't available in Houston. He said a friend of his that works for Ford told him that in a dire emergency they would come up with the parts to get the job done. I went to Ford on Saturday, and they told me they didn't have a service slot available until Wednesday or Thursday but they would be glad to sell me the parts. They had two in stock. So I bought the parts. I called Oak Ridge Car Clinic Monday morning, and the son answered. Said his Dad was on vacation for a week, he was all alone and had 4 cars in front of me before he could work on my truck. Then he got nasty. He said it was first come first served, and he couldn't promise me anything about getting the job done by my deadline. I asked why his dad told me that he could do it if he could get the parts, and he said, "well he knew he couldn't get the parts." So he was stringing me along and had no intention of taking the job and didn't want to tell me that. I called their competitor, next door, and they said come on over, we'll take care of you. This was a very bad business practice.
