As I was walking in the front door for my very first cavity filling, I was nervous, but then I was instantly calmed by the beautiful view of the lake from the chair; not to mention the warm welcome from the office staff. My tooth had been bothering me for a few days. I knew I was delaying a cavity filling, so I called to make an appointment, and was booked for the next day. The procedure was painless, quick, and effortless, and the background music put me at ease. (Luckily I was there during Christmas season!) I was also very well prepped for what I should expect during and after my visit. A visit to the dentist that gave me such anxiety was easily one of the most nonchalant experiences I've ever had. I've always had a positive experience with him personally…read more My main concern is that as of June 2025, the office no longer accepts Delta Dental, and I wasn't notified beforehand. They mentioned they would submit a claim to Delta Dental so I can be reimbursed for the difference, but since they're now out of network, the fees are about 225% higher. Jocelyn, the receptionist, said she would forward my concern to the office manager, though it sounds like there may not be much that can be done. They noted that they tried to call about a week before my appointment likely to confirm my appointment but I changed my phone number nearly a year ago. They said they would've told my by phone that they no longer take my insurance. My response was, they should have told me when I checked in, before my service to give me an option to move forward with them. I feel it's very unfair not to notify patients in advance when such a significant change affects billing and coverage. Unfortunately, I'll be canceling my upcoming appointments for myself and my family.

Dr. Milligan has quite a bit of expertise in basic surgeries, crowns feelings, etc. They're cleaning people are very friendly knowledgeable and do a great job. That being said, for me, going to the dentist is just as ho hum as any other errand where I will be interacting with humans who may be having their own kind of day. Front desk receptionist is friendly and polite and it's easy to schedule appointments. The dental hygenist is friendly and polite. Dr. Colpitts is friendly and polite. Dangit everybody in this whole place is so sweet. I particularly appreciate their straight forward nature and that they didn't try to sell me a bunch of services I didn't need (that has happened to me in the past and I really hate when dentists and their staff pull that kind of stuff - pretty unethical!) so I really appreciated an honest and friendly visit!!! I look forward to my next visit! I do like the bi annual update on what they're up to in the community and whatever new technology is going on in the world of dentitry via newsletter too. Not over bearing but kind of a "hey, in case you wanted us to fix this we can". I recommend this office to everyone.
