He is genuinely a nice guy and has such creativity. The South Hill location was closer for me, but I'll drive the distance to have Grant cut my hair, for sure! I have had Grant color my hair too (which was fantastic), but I'm going natural now and just letting that grey happen. Although that could change in the future (haha). Scheduling an appointment is also super easy, and I can usually schedule in the next week or so (since I'm one of those "oh geez, I need a haircut now" type people).

It felt more personal. Don't like the bright sterile lighting, loud music, gaudy decor, crowded scene.. Anyway SHE LISTENED TO WHAT I WANTED, respected my declination of her suggestion & did what I asked. Not to sound rude but I'm very sensitive about my hair as it's been damaged so many times in the past by previous stylists I thought I could trust. She listened to my horror stories & got that. One visit I was feeling old and sad, and had her put in a full set of extensions. Too much daily work for me- I'm a wash and go girl, but I loved feeling girly. The salon is super relaxing, and she didn't yell at me when I couldn't figure out how to use the keurig and poured hot cocoa all over the counter. He wash skills relax me for the entire week... The other ladies seem to be pretty popular also. I always seem to have the same appointment time with a another girl that gets hipster colors and cuts that if I was 20 years younger I'd be trying to rock.
