I got a facial from JEEKA and wow... just wow. She provides a personal facial - meaning she's attentive to what your skin needs (oily, combo, dry, etc. ). It's a small shop (JEEKA's the only person who works there) so everything feels very close and intimate. JEEKA is super personable and easy to talk to. When you go and get your facial, she'll also give you a quick massage which is always a bonus because who doesn't like a massage? I bought some pants online, and glorious though they are, they were much too long. Upon recommendation from a friend, I contacted Jeeka Does It for a quote. It was incredibly easy to schedule a fitting; due to the pandemic she offers online scheduling in 15 minute time slots to allow for social distancing. I was able to choose a time/date that worked for my schedule, and Jessica was very thorough yet efficient at making sure the hems would be exactly right. She made sure to ask if there was a specific time I needed the pants (there was not, because, truly, where are any of us going these days?). Once they were hemmed, she sent me a text, with instructions for scheduling a socially distanced pick-up. My pants now fit perfectly, and the process couldn't have been easier. So I wouldn't expect a combination sewing/waxing business, but I've used Jessica for both with good results. I had a trench coat that ripped along the seam in the both underarms (not sure what that says about me). I had been meaning to get around to having it repaired and decided to kill two bird with one stone. The front of the shop is where the alterations magic happens. The space is cute and functional. I didn't have to try on my garment since it was a repair not a normal alteration, so we just discussed what was needed and she gave me an approximate turn around time. The waxing and facials are in back behind a privacy curtain. The overhead lights are dimmed so you aren't staring into a bright light. Jessica provides a towel for modesty during waxes, which is something I've never experienced before. It doesn't really matter to me one way or another, but it may be nice for some folks. Jessica uses both hard and soft waxes. I prefer hard waxes but she has used soft wax on my underarms with good results. The repair on my trench was seamless and it's been great having it back in rotation. I will definitely return for other alterations and probably for waxing, too. read more

As a non makeup wearer in my mid 40's it's really neat to feel like your look is refreshed without having to worry about applying gunk on my face. Highly recommend. I went to her and had 2 work skirts hemmed and penciled. She claimed that she could do it. They kept folding as I walked. She offered to fix them and claimed to have had to, until I took them to a professional tailor and was told that they were unfixable, which means she never fixed them in the first place. read more
