After talking it over with our group, we all had very different massages that focused on our individual aches, tensions and injuries. They listened and were so attentive to our individual needs and really addressed our body pains and issues. They were on time, even with the snow storm that rolled in, clean, respectful and so friendly and engaging. They have an easy booking process on their website but are booked solid (for good reason!) about two weeks out so you'll want to be prepared to have to wait a week or two for your appointment. The therapist who worked on me was Jen, and she was excellent. Jen had a calm and relaxed energy about her and i felt very comfortable the entire time. Her methods were the perfect combination of gentle and strong and I left feeling so much better than when i arrived. I'll be back, and will definitely be requesting Jen! As soon as I was able to start walking I was recommended to try getting a massage to help my recovery. I'd never received a massage before and was quite nervous that it may worsen the situation or hurt. I decided to book an appointment through Apex Recovery since they provide medical massages. I needed a very deep tissue and area focused service. I showed up 10 minutes early; right away I met Erin, the manager. She was so very kind and comforting--especially since she noticed my nerves. She explained the basics of what to expect until Alex (Alexandrea) was ready for me. I also was given a water while I waited very briefly. The appointment started right on time with Alex. Alex was also very kind and calming. She has an energy about her that felt very safe--this was important to me since you're in a very vulnerable position with a stranger. She was accommodating, professional, and very earnest. During the intake she asked thoughtful questions and explained how she wanted to tackle my lower back pain. I think it's important to note that I am a 6'2 260 lb female. Alex was half my size. I only mention this because as a larger woman I was worried about taking up space and how hard Alex was going to be able to add pressure. Let me tell you, she is one strong gal!! The entire massage was deep pressure and pinpointed spots that needed the most help. She was very considerate asking me if pressure levels were okay and asking specifics of pain location for her focus. Additionally, she was very intuitive to how my body was reacting in certain areas. I appreciated her taking the time to focus on the sections that needed it most or reacted. At the end of the appointment, I was able to walk without pain. I still struggle to sit and bend, but even the smallest amount of relief was needed. It's now been almost 6 hours since my appointment and I'm still able to walk without pain. Alex recommended routinely stretching and coming back when needed. I appreciated the low pressure to return since these types of recovery services are on the expensive side. I will 1000000% come back to this place for issues in the future. I appreciated Erin's aid, and Alex's kindness and amazing massage skills.

I was referred to him by my wife, who did have a traditional massage and who swore he was one of the best masseuses she has ever experienced! Then I sent my mom, who is 90 and has numb hands. He brought circulation back to her and referred her to a chiropractor for further treatments. This is a great guy with a unique method of care, very effective! Since seeing Dylan weekly for a couple of months now I'm only in a wheelchair 10% of the time!!! I still walk with a cane, but I'm living a MUCH fuller life with MUCH less pain!...I will say my treatments with him are pretty brutal and painful as he skillfully untangles my body and nerves, BUT totally worth it. Mariah was very nice and sweet, but unfortunately, the overall experience was not as relaxing or fulfilling as I had hoped. She spent a significant amount of time talking and seemed to focus on the same area for what felt like almost 20 minutes. I had specifically mentioned which areas I wanted her to focus on, but I also requested an overall full-body massage. My arms were not massaged at all, and I had to ask her to massage the backs of my legs when I noticed that she was planning to massage only my feet after finishing my back. She also mentioned that she would show me some pressure points that could help with lymphatic drainage, but that never happened. That may have contributed to my confusion about whether the full massage time had been completed. However, when I looked at the time, it was clear that the appointment ended before 2:00 PM. When I asked her to massage my legs, I also felt that there wasn't much pressure or technique involved--it felt more like lotion was simply being rubbed onto my legs and feet. Unfortunately, the massage itself was not very relaxing for me. I want to emphasize that Mariah was very kind and pleasant. My disappointment is not with her personality, but with the overall service and the amount of time and attention I received for the 60-minute massage I paid for.
