She was very upset and I was going to offer to pay for it, but when I pulled aside one of the guys, he said not to worry about it and that they were going to take care of it. That act of kindness was amazing. Sure we hate taking our car in for an oil change or inspection and find out there's more work needed, but they mean well and I've never felt they were trying to get me to spend more money. I was happy they were willing to do 3 instead of 4 tires, since #4 was only a few months old. I appreciated they didn't try to force me into a 4th tire just to make a sale. The location is good for waiting there because you can walk to a few places while you wait (Primos, Marshalls, etc.). The tone, language, and overall treatment were offensive and humiliating. No customer should ever be subjected to this kind of treatment, regardless of the situation. Every person who walks through the door deserves to be treated with courtesy, dignity, and respect. What I witnessed reflected a serious lack of professionalism, poor judgment, and a complete disregard for basic customer service standards. I strongly encourage Mavis Tire's corporate leadership to investigate this incident and take appropriate action.
