Since then, we've had nothing but positive experiences at the service center with both of hyundais. The guys who work here are really welcoming and knowledgeable and the waiting room is pretty nice for a car dealership service area. When there have been issues, I've felt informed but not pressured into making expensive decisions. I definitely do not dread bringing my car here and when it's time to upgrade our older car, we'll probably look here first. read more

I really wanted to leave a higher rating because the gentlemen we worked with was nice but they sold us a vehicle that they didnt disclose everything that was wrong with it, just showed me a Carfax report which just showed some minor cosmetic damage which was fine and I agreed to that. We have tried calling since the day after we bought it to let them know of a couple things that need to be looked at and they just keep giving us the run around. We did speak to a guy named Brandon and he was slightly helpful but now the mechanic shop wont call us back. We have purchased used vehicles from other dealers and if issues came up shortly after we purchased the vehicle they had us bring it in and fixed the problem. This has been a nightmare. Do better Jeff Wyler you are too well known in this area to be like this. My daughter and I were at JW Hyundai of Colerain last Saturday to buy a car, but the car we saw online had been moved up the street to another Wyler location and was being sold. First, I have to say the salesman we were working with at JW Hyundai was great. He was very helpful and tried several ways to get us into a car and even looked at other Wyler locations. The manager, Tim, was rude and condescending. Refused to help us, wouldn't even call another Wyler location to see if a car we wanted to look at was available to go see. When I asked if he could call for us, his exact words were, "Well, you can call, but no, I won't call for you." At which time we walked out. He was far more concerned about making a sale only for his dealership than supporting the Wyler network. I feel he was also that way because we were two woman shopping alone even though I had been pre-approved. He was willing to lose a sale and possible future sales for the entire Wyler network instead of being helpful. After we left JW Hyundai I realized where the car probably was, so we drove two minutes up the street to JW Kia and purchased the exact car we came to see at JW Hyundai. The people at the JW Kia were amazing! They were helpful, and worked quickly to get us a deal and get our paperwork completed before the other people who were also looking at the car, and we drove off with the exact car we originally wanted. Great job losing a sale for your dealership, Tim! I've never actually been to a dealership where the manager lets a sale just walk out the door. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE! Fraud Alert! They recently sold a vehicle to my friend looking for a safe car for her and her special needs child. They committed fraud on her application in multiple areas to get the loan approved. David in finance inflated her income by almost double, he more than doubled the length of her employment and said she owned her own home. They digitally applied her signature & did not initially give her a copy of the application until she demanded it at least 3 separate times a week or so later. They never asked for a paystub or anything to verify income. She verbally told David how much she makes hourly then he did the "math" for her and typed it in. She does not understand anything about finance and put her trust in them by stating she was a 1st time purchaser. The manager Dennis was very rude, unprofessional, dismissive and honestly degrading to her over the phone. He was defensive and acted offended when she asked for her application. Once he actually reviewed her application and was caught in a lie he did not so much as apologize and said he didn't know why the information was incorrect but "she is a grown woman and it is done" so they would do nothing about. They are money hungry crooks with no morals. They should be investigated as an internal audit would most likely turn up multiple "errors" on other applications for those with less than perfect credit. She has made & will continue to file complaints with multiple government agencies, Hyundai and legal counsel told her she has a good case for a lawsuit as well. Of course they added multiple expensive add on's too which she didn't understand was optional and cost extra (again 1st time, trusting car buyer) those have been canceled & applied back to her loan balance instead of refinancing (since they know it wouldn't get approved with her actual income) so she still has a insanely high monthly pymt that's more like a mortgage pymt that she literally can not afford. The dealership owner knows how to contact her if he would like to make this right so no need for the false "please get in touch with us response". I am advising her to get in touch with local news/media outlets as well so the Tri-State public can fully be aware of their scam practices and lack of care for their customers. Brought my car in for routine maintenance. They technician videoed the inspection and said my windshield wipers were fine (they sent the video to me via text). When the business guy came with the bill, he included a $91 charge for new windshield wipers (the cost is ridiculous in and of itself). I told him the video said the wipers were fine and that I didn't want new wipers. If I felt generous, I could attribute this to a genuine mistake. But this is 2 weeks after my son brought in his Honda Civic to Jeff Wyler Superior Honda and they wanted to charge him several hundred dollars to replace pristine brake fluid. I think Jeff Wyler employees are instructed to bilk as much money out of customers as possible. The one item that I did pay for was a new air filter. $51 air filter plus a $40 charge for "installation." Given it took 2 minutes to install the air filter, that works out to a $1200/hour labor charge. I will be servicing my vehicles elsewhere. read more

I bought my used 2022 Tahoe at asking price and paid in full. they got my vehicle from another Wyler location and when it was delivered to this location the second fob was not brought. The sales guy I was working with, he told me he would reach out to the other location to get my fob and if he couldn't get it they would make me one. A couple Weeks had passed and I hadn't heard from him, it took multiple attempts to finally reach him and for him to tell me he had not called yet about the fob and he would call them and call me back. I never heard back from him. Once I was able to finally reach him again he told me he has been super busy (I guess once the sell you a car they are done) and that he would finally call and if he couldn't get it I could pay to have one made. He denies ever telling me they would make me one. I figured I'd drop her off, Uber home, and likely pick her up a few days later. I was shocked when they told me I may as well stick around because they'll all be done in 1-2 hours. It was closer to one hour and I really liked the advisor Angie also who spoke with me frankly and honestly about my car and its issues. However, shortly after the arrival Mr. Greene pulled the offer even though the trade in was test driven by the dealership and a price was agreed to. What a joke. I got a good deal on my car, but the customer service and knowledge was horrendous. I purchased a new car after having leased one, and wanted to keep my plates. They offered to have them transferred, and now a full month after getting my car, I called to see where they were. Instead of helping me, they told me to call Hyundai Finance. After 30 minutes on the phone with them, they said the dealer never even initiated the request to have to plates transferred. To add insult to injury, I can't cancel my insurance on the old car until it has been completed. If that weren't enough, they told me since I went from Hyundai to Hyundai, they would waive my disposition fee off $500 at the Hyundai finance if I called. When I spoke to them about that, they said that too was supposed to have been taken care of by the dealer, and they never even submitted paperwork to qualify me for it. read more

I wish there was a 0 star option cause I'm so sick and tired of Hyundai. This dealer shop sold us a car that was a model with known engine issues (it was my first car we didn't do enough research our bad). They said we didn't need a warranty and would rather us get their appearance package. We said no multiple times to the appearance package and they still charged us anyway. They sold us the car for much more than it was even worth using the excuse that it was a GT and had low miles. Apparently according Hyundai it doesn't have low miles because when the engine actually blew up we have to pay all out of pocket because we didn't have a warranty (they said we didn't need one) and there was to many miles. For context when we bought the car it had 116,000 miles on it, when it blew up it had 126,000 miles on it. It's a 2013 and I had it barley a year. There is seriously nothing we can do and I've absolutely had it with Hyundai specifically this one because they did not give us a single hint that there might be something wrong with this car. Basically scammed us out of $6000 dollars because the car is really only worth $40000 and we payed $10000. I would also like to say when it did blow up we thought about taking to Jeff Wyler but no one would pick up for 3 days, so we took it to Voss and they have been way more helpful and nice. We haven't fixed the engine yet but the estimate to get it fixed with a used engine would be $4500. Again the car isn't even worth that much. At this point I'm thinking they knew something was wrong with the engine but I don't have proof. When we bought the car the engine sounded fine miraculously a couple days later it started ticking and sounding bad. read more

My car was broken into and I need a full systems check, as things have not been working properly since the break-in. In my line of work, it is not easy to be without a car for a day. I work with surgical equipment and have to run large quantities of steel and aluminum tools across town very often. I scheduled an appointment with their phone system, arranged my schedule, used the key drop for the night before my appointment, and assumed they would call me the next day. No call, no communication, no acknowledgement of receiving the car, no response whatsoever. I called 6 times during the day hoping to get an update, with nobody picking up the phone. I arranged a ride to the shop the morning after my appointment hoping to get some answers in person on my car or why I hadn't been called. I was fed excuse after excuse of "we've been busy, we have a lot of cars with break-ins, we just can't get to the phone during the day"... they hadn't even gotten to my car. I walked out with a worker who right then fixed one of the smaller problems I'd been having. When I mentioned other concerns, the technician laughed and flatly denied to do a check on my car, stating "it doesn't look like they got in anywhere" and pointing to the line of cars with break-ins that they have sitting in their lot, as if that explained why my car didn't need work. Waste of your time. Go somewhere where they will communicate with you, honor appointments, and don't laugh at legitimate concerns. read more

One month. That's how long we've been without a car now. Minor accident happened 11/28. Couldn't find anywhere to take it for quite some time due to the holiday rush. We finally found a place, this place. Receptionist would not give us instructions/protocol for the tow until the third time we called. Finally get it towed there on 12/15. We called every day until the 22nd because we needed to fill out insurance papers and work authorization... because this is apparently not a thing they do online?? Every day we were told our technician, PJ, was too busy to talk to us and that she'd leave a message. Finally on the 22nd we went in physically. PJ claimed ignorance, which may in fact be true after seeing the other reviews about the receptionist's reliability. Our car was there for over a week, no one was aware of it, nothing had been logged, no communication received. The work that needs to be done should take "a day at most" according to the adjuster from geico. Once we signed the papers they told us it would be another week. Now, i assume they are closed on the 25th, and clearly they have so many cars to work on it's bordering on impossible, but this will be over 2 weeks they've had the car just to fix minor undercarriage damage. Who knows how long it would have been if we hadn't driven an hour (round trip) to go there physically. I assume their quote will be way off for when they'll finish, and I'm terrified they're going to do a poor job when they do get to it. This location needs help or at the very least a better receptionist. Avoid them if possible... read more

So I understand your system is down on a Monday morning, but have a backup plan in place. Came in for scheduled maintenance at 9am. Was told no way to do work and they would call me later in the day to get me in. I called 4 times and could never get a human. Decided to make the 35 minute drive to see what was going on. The person had my paperwork at his fingertips, but no explanation of why I didn't receive a call. I observed other customers having their own issues. One lady was lied to about her car which had been there a few weeks. The advisor said it could not be started. When she pressed to see the car and see if she could start it he took her out and the vehicle started right up. If my sister-in-law didn't have "complementary" maintenance I would never take a car here. Just poor customer service and way too many people not doing the right thing. I bought a used Jeep from them at the end of August and it had under 100,000 miles on it. It came with a 6000 mile 6 month "warranty". Well four months later and about 5000 miles I have a massive oil leak and take it to eastgate Wyler jeep to get fixed and conveniently they say it's not covered and will be $1900 to fix!! I knew they were overcharging me. So I said I will just pick it up. When I picked it up, I'm blindsided by them charging me $200 for diagnosis because the "the part wasn't covered"! How was I suppose to know that?! And they never mentioned up front about a diagnosis fee. Superiors response is they did a full inspection prior to sale. Highly unlikely this happened that quickly. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I found a used Mitsubishi Outlander on CARFAX that this dealership had advertised. I submitted a request on CARFAX to see the vehicle, and received a call back and set up an appointment. Confirmed via email the same day as the appointment. I drive an hour to the dealership just to be told they didn't have the vehicle, didn't even have the same year, and the floor salesman had no idea who the other people I spoke with were. Their floor salesman was rather rude, and the sales floor itself was in disarray, with people running around and nowhere to sit. Also, there was almost no parking available for my own car to leave in to walk inside- I had to park at the back of the building because the dealership double parked their cars in the spaces next to the buildings entrance. It was a complete waste of my time, my gas, and gas money seeing as how gas is nearly $4 a gallon now. I will never use this dealership and would suggest to anybody who may ask that you go elsewhere. read more

My buying experience was tainted and smelly. They advertised a car which met all my criteria, so I called about it and asked a list of questions. Since the salesman had not yet seen the car, he told me that he would go check it out and call me back. He did, and he said that this car was about to get "detailed" but it would be ready for sale very soon. He also told me that this car had been traded in by the mother-in-law of one of the managers at that dealership. Since I live over 600 miles away, I told him that was no problem and that I would drive out to test drive the car the following night. One of the questions I asked: "Was the car smoked in?" He indicated that it had not. "Will you hold the car for me until I get there?" He said they would not commit to do that unless I called after I was actually on the road the next day. Okay. I drove all day, and called on the way. He told me they were going to close early, so I didn't need to worry . . . I could look at the car the following morning. I did. Turned out the car had been smoked in so often and so long that there was actual yellow tar build-up on every hard surface and, of course, the smell was embedded into the fabric and plastic. Unbelievable. There's more, but that's enough to give you the picture. No, I would not go back. I bought the last two cars at Superior Hyundai South .. I was called for a recall recently (Sonata Hybrid - engine repair). When I retrieved the car, I heard a noise coming from the front of the car. I took the car again to Superior to show them that probably something was affected during the recall. After 2 days I received a call that the service would be charged US 400. I did not authorize the service. Unfortunately, this company does not care about the customers and the manager does not check the service of the workers.
