Although the final cost was more than the estimate for the repair, it is clear that the damage was deeper than it appeared. The repair was done in 4 days as promised, which can be difficult because deleiver of the parts for an old mazda is slow. I'm very thankful that Tom was able to complete it on time. Now I'm afraid to drive anywhere, the car looks like new despite being a 2009 Toyota Camry that had gotten its left front end smashed in. Tom gave me a detailed estimate and the work came out perfect. The steel body panels that became misaligned are now perfect and Tom was able to paint all of the plastic body parts that had to be replaced to match perfectly in color. I chose Jefferis based on the favorable reviews posted here and I was not disappointed. It's a small family-run business that is obviously interested in good service and a good product. They were efficient in giving me an estimate for repairs and were willing to do some extra body work beyond the accident damage at a reasonable price. My car came back looking good and I would highly recommend them. Be aware that their hours are somewhat limited as they are only open Monday through Thursday and close at 3 pm--the trade off for being a small business and doing all the work themselves. read more

Tom worked on my '72 Ford Highboy. He cut rusted floorboard out of my truck cab and replaced the metal. Then replaced the windshield and fixed the roof rust where water was leaking in. Tom's work is solid. Everything he touched shows attention to detail and good decisions. I'm pretty happy and my truck is really happy. It's slightly inconvenient because Mon-Thurs hours means I need to take time off work to pick up my rig but hey, craftsmanship is worth it. Highly recommended. read more

They really do deserve their 5 star rating. The bottom edge of my car had a run-in with a curb which produced an ugly dent but was only cosmetic. I asked if he could do a quick and dirty job since it's not in a highly visible location. And that's just what he did and at the lowest price of the 3 quotes I got. If you look closely you can tell that work was done but if you're not looking for it you'd never know. They also gave me a ride to and from my house which helped a lot. read more

The owner, Tom, is old school and knows his stuff, which I really appreciated. Tom's work matches my pearl white Toyota color perfectly. This is a fantastic family business! Our daughter (student at Cal Poly) had her car hit overnight and the person didn't leave a note or take responsibility for the accident. She took her car into get an estimate and Tom thought it was highly unsafe for her to be climbing through the passenger side to get into her car since the damage was to her driver's side door and front side fender. He bent the car fender and door enough that she could access the car, to drive it, and made sure there wasn't anything wrong with her car that would make is unsafe to drive (at no cost). He communicated with me (I'm not local) and my daughter and provided us with an estimate to fix the damage. They earned our business by being so thoughtful and kind. The work was scheduled for a few weeks later. The car was fixed in the time Tom specified, at the cost they had estimated, and it looks perfect. It felt like I had a family up there looking out for my daughter. When she couldn't get a ride to pick up her car, Tom's adult daughter even drove it over to our daughter's place. As a college student, I don't have much time to mess with my car, so it was great to go to Jefferis where there was speedy and excellent service. I sent them a Yelp request that they responded to within 24 hours, and when I called to see what time I could come in, they took me in day of. The next day, I brought in my car and they fixed it up within a couple hours! They had great prices ($80 for reconnecting a few pieces of shield protectors that fell out from my engine), communication (he walked me through everything he would be doing and why), amazing and friendly service (no swindling!), and even drove me home when I dropped off my car. I had been postponing a trunk repair for my 2008 Prius because I expect to be giving it to my granddaughter soon. However, it got bad enough that access to the trunk for any thief seemed weeks away.
