So all I have to say is I'm shocked like from afar the work was on my car was back together but once I got closer I found a lot of imperfections done to my car my tail light wasn't in all the way there is a fat run in my paint job chip marks on a 2500$ used trunk lid, bumper trim wasn't lined up correctly. I've used Sierra 4-5 times over the years. This time I needed to have a rear spoiler removed because I was selling the car as stock. Sierra had installed the spoiler 4 years ago. Butch took the time to get the whole story, and that I wanted to wait while the job was being done. I came in this afternoon, and less than an hour later it was done. They had even buffed out the area and made it look new again. I was very pleased. And... Butch did not even charge me! Of course, I'll continue using Sierra for all my body shop needs. My car got hit by someone who wasn't paying attention (while I was inside honking and yelling for them to stop.) My husband and father-in-law told me to come here. I was surprised to pull up to a nice, organized, clean place. The guys in there were so nice! Butch helped me out, he gave me a quote and gave me all the information for my insurance without me feeling pressured to use them. I of course came back for them to work on my car because they were so helpful and they didn't make me feel incompetent or stupid like a lot of body shops do. They always kept me up to date about everything and was in communication with my insurance so I didn't have to worry too much! At the end when I picked up my car they even gave me a 2020 planner AND my entire car was clean on the inside (it's the little things.) We came into Sierra Auto Body with an insurance claim for work that needed to be completed. Initially we came in to have it evaluated and looked at by Mike. We scheduled a date later in the month to bring the vehicle in. He advised us to wash it, look to see if there are any other dents or damages, and bring it back on that date. Upon bringing it in, Mike had prepared all paperwork, evaluations of the car, and finished the work in a week. There were multiple dents, skin replacement on a door, and a painting job. When we received the vehicle back, it looked brand new and they did great! I would recommend Sierra Auto Body for their excellent work and service. read more

Confusing experience. Came about a month ago to see how much it would cost to get a door repainted. Was convinced by the estimator mike fielder that the whole truck would need repainted because of a priming issue and de lamination. Said they were painting tons of vehicles from Chevy and Ford for the same reason new and old and that if the dealership wasn't willing to work with me and I have to contact Toyota directly he would write me up something describing the problem. Cool I guess , bummed of course my 3 year old vehicle needs a new paint job but I'd listen to the expert. I come back today and he starts talking about needing to just do the door like I originally intended because he can't predict the future. Very confusing why today's story was so much different then last time. That being said no I would not come back. The first visit mike said it would need to be painted in Santa Maria with whoever the dealer works with so maybe that's why he didn't want to take the time to formally write anything up for me stating the problem. Mike was able to work my repair in fairly short notice. I needed to have my RV hood repainted given that I had a trip pending. Five stars for Sierra body shop. Ironically it was recommended to me by the adult son of the woman who backed into my BMW. When I arrived for my estimate they were very friendly and explained what needed to be done. It was very minor damage, but it involved both the driver side door and the back door. That made it a little more complicated. The estimate was fair and Allstate insurance company approved it immediately. When I picked up my car it looked brand new. The paint matched perfectly. While my car was in the shop I had them do a little touch ups on a couple of little spots on the bumper and it was also done perfectly. I would highly recommend Sierra body shop for their professionalism and friendly attitude. I might add that when I dropped off my car for the repairs they gave me a ride home and also picked me up when the car was ready. read more

I have had two cars repaired here, the last was pretty extensive. Allstate uses them if you desire and that is another plus. Their work is beautiful and this is not hyperbole. The car was delivered..just like the first, detailed in and out and the body looks better than new. Look..your car now has a crash history and there iis nothing you can do about that but it is worse when your delivered car LOOKS like it has been in a crash. My advice: get multiple estimates from different companies no matter what your insurance company says. This company gave a higher estimate than my insurance company's adjuster. They only took off our bumper and gave an estimate and our insurance company still paid them a fee. This company is one reason our insurance rates are so high. Go to other companies and compare estimates. This company is considered to be the most expensive in the area. We did not have them fix our car. read more
