I stopped by and Mark took a look and told me that he'd grab his stuff. Minutes later, he came back with a bottle of "magic potion" and wiping cloth. Minutes later, the scraping marks were gone. Mark and the guys at The Dent Shop are my new hero's. I backed up into a pickup trucks bumper. I went first to The Dent Shop. Many years ago they had a mobile service which I used a few times and had positive experiences every time. I'm so glad I went here first. When they said they thought they could fix it for only a couple of hundred and NOT thousands, that it would cost for a new bumper and they could do it the next day while I waited. It doesn't get any better than that. I highly recommend this shop if you need any auto body work done. Just a side note. I'm a grandmother who could have been a target for a more unscrupulous shop. This place is the best! My daughter is a magnet for accidents and The Dent Shop has repaired her Tesla a few times. She hit a curb and the Tesla bumper was ripped almost off. We got quotes that were around $3,000 from auto body repair shops that wanted to replace all the parts. However, The Dent Shop was able to get the existing bumper back on the car for $350! My daughter who is a college student was so relieved and thankful that The Dent Shop was able to do the job for such less $. On top of that they are super nice and although my daughter was kind of nervous having to "adult" and deal with this, they made her feel very comfortable and treated her kindly. Can't say enough about Mark and Mike. Service was immediate and communication outstanding. Had a minor bumper repair for Ford F150 and was quoted $1600 for a factory part and $1200 for after market by another shop. After 2 negative experiences in my town (Arroyo Grande) , i decided to contact The Dent Shop in San Luis Obispo (about 25 min from where i live). So i called and Mike Adams promptly invited me over the same day to take a look and give an estimate to remove the dents on the hood of my car. Arrived, i met Mike, very kind and professional. He checked and estimated the job , so i asked him when i could come over again to fix the damage. He told me ,because i was already there , if i could wait about an hour and he was going to work on my car and fix it . Awesome professional service at reasonable cost. I needed some minor paint work on some trim pieces, took it in, got a good quote and brought it in the next week. When getting the quote Mike spoke of what I wanted to hear, that the work may cost a bit more than some fly-by-night paint places but they would take the time to properly sand, prime, and apply the layers so that the paint lasts for years. Here's the kicker. Because my vehicle is over 20 years old, Mark was unhappy with the paint match to the rest of the trim pieces, so they painted all six of them rather than the 3 that I was quoted. They all look great. Both Mike and Mark were very pleasant to work with. I need to have some work done on another car and will be taking it there. read more

I cannot say enough about these guys. They were fantastic. A deer ran out and t-boned me while I was going 35 in a 45. The deer was fine, I saw him (antlers and all) through my rear view mirror get up, shake it off, and run along. The car however was bashed in. Most of the damage was done to the front right fender but the passenger door, bumper, hood, and windshield were all damaged too. The passenger door wouldn't even open. Mike was great. When I took it in for my estimate mike noticed the door wasn't working and fixed it on the spot so I could function as the insurance claim was processed. He took care of the PITA insurance company and when I got the car back it was perfect. I challenge anyone to look at it and notice what was fixed and what was original. It looks like it came off the showroom floor again. I'm super meticulous about my car and am super happy with my decision to go with The Dent Shop and the results they delivered. read more
