In search of a work car, my search brought me to the inventory of Jefferson Auto Group. Reading previous reviews, it made me hesitate on even considering this establishment. But I took a shot at it cuz sometimes u have to see things for yourself. A 2011 BMW 328i caught my eye, with low miles of 77k. I thought it was to good to be true. Especially for a foreign vehicle. I thought it would have issues left and right. I went and test drove it and it was a nice ride. Everything worked on it. So I went thru with the sale. Salesman even offered a 2 week Warrenty no charge. Fast forward to a month later. The Car is still running great. Haven't experienced anything bad yet with the car. JB told him that he would buy it back from him, for 2,000, after realizing that we weren't backing down $2000. He paid $4500, plus an illegal debit card fee. The dealership doesn't even have the title to the car. JB is a fraud and the owner likes to sit in the office and pretend that he's a paper pusher. He's a fraud too. Had a pretty good experience at the lot, they had sold the original car I had went to look for but helped me look at the others in my price range. I had brought my mother and brother with me, so they could listen to anything and look under the hood of anything I liked. My car has been doing great, but I can already tell that it needs a new transmission. It just is irritating because it was 3,500.00 for the car and I just don't know what I'm supposed to do, like they told me it was a good car and as far as my whole family understood, because we had someone else come look at it afterwards too, is that everything was fine, but now it's becoming noticeable. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY here! Brought two cars from this "dealership" in the beginning of July, the Trailblazer was sold to us knowing that the chassis or frame of the car was damaged beyond repair. After many visits, they decided to "work" with me and have the car fixed. The salesperson called after 3 weeks and said that the repairs would cost $2400, they would pay $1400 if we could pay $1000. What choice did I have? Without the repairs my son could not use this car in college at all. After My husband and I made numerous impromptu visits to their mechanic the mechanic said the repair bill was $1450 TOTAL! Talk about shady! Every time we would call we were given a new excuse of why it was not ready. So after running behind them from July until October 22nd and a $1200 repair bill we finally got the car back. I purchased a vehicle there and the same day the catalytic converter caught on fire with me and my children in the vehicle. We ended up being stranded on the side of the highway for 2 days. Unbelievably rude! I was told very abruptly, with multiple interruptions, over the phone that I absolutely could not test drive without first doing a credit application. Beyond the rudeness of the salesman, who clearly didn't want to field a call at the end of the day, and also told me there were plenty of other places to buy cars if I didn't like it, this policy is very underhanded. The only reasons not to allow test drives before financing a vehicle is that 1) You have things to hide regarding the condition of the vehicle itself, and 2) You only do business with people so desperate that they'll happily buy whatever you tell them to buy, based on the credit application. Worst customer service ever. Phone was answered by a male with a cajun accent, I do not recall the name. I called inquiring about a vehicle I saw on their website and asked for a Carfax. Person says they no longer affiliate or provide Carfax reports because what they report is not accurate, pathetic excuse. I asked for pictures of the undercarriage and engine bay (wouldn't you think that should be pretty important). I was told that there are a lot of pictures online and that he is not going to take any more pictures. I told him that I am 800 miles away and am not going to waste my time flying there without getting more pictures. He told me that I am just going to have to go there to test drive it and that I am wasting his time otherwise. He said he was busy and hung up on me. Today is September 29, 2016 I bought a car Friday September 23, 2016 and when I drove off of the lot 3 hours later my car stop on me. I haven't had the car for 4 days because it's in the shop, and LITERALLY everything is wrong with the car. They refused to switch out the car or give me a refund but said they would fix EVERYTHING that's wrong with the car. Well guess what my repair estimate came up to $2,300 so now they are only fixing 1 of the several problems that I have with the car, that repair cost $500 & now my salesman is dodging me and the mechanic so they don't have to pay to fix it. Also they don't have mechanics on site so the "repairs" they make are dangerous and careless. They put refrigerator coolant and dye inside of my compressor (that has a leak), changed the brake pads and left the brake light dislocated etc. My salesman who is also the general manager specifically sold me this car & told me they're were no problems with it. Freddie Ibieta (My salesman also the general manager) called the owner and told him I would like to speak to him about a refund or swapping out the car. The owner said no and brushed him off the phone. I literally hate this place & just to know that they take advantage of people pisses me off. This is my first car and I was overcharged for this 2001 Cadillac Catera with 98,500. I paid $3,900 but when I first seen the car it was listed as $2,550. Also reading the other reviews the owner is saying to buy a warranty, but guess what the problems with my car aren't covered by the third-party warranty. These people are insane and it's crazy they are still trying to sell shitty cars instead of having some integrity.
