Something helpful I learned from the dealership where I purchased my car is that if you have a vehicle that was declared a total loss, you can bring the declaration letter along with the necessary documentation and receive a credit toward the registration and tag for your new vehicle. In my case, I received about a $40 credit, which was a nice surprise. The office was fairly busy when I arrived, but the line was moving steadily and efficiently. There was a gentleman at the door helping to direct people to where they needed to go. There was a line but there were about 10-15 employee windows open to assist us. I got a clerk by the name of Jeanetta. She was trying to help me figure out the most efficient way to handle the business I had. She even went to speak to a supervisor to help me avoid an extra trip back into the building. I really appreciated that! I am excited about my new personalized tag!
