The one in Columbus gave me literally the worst haircut I have ever seen in my life. They gave me a half mullet with a racing stripe when I asked for a very normal haircut. I have to call off work tomorrow and go someone else it is so bad. I didn't want her to touch my hair again so I just left without asking her to fix it. I want to start this review by saying we have gone to Nomad's three times. Giving them the benefit of the doubt and still have to leave a one star review!! I saw on the news how they were implementing great options to keep their clients safe during COVID. So, he went for an appointment after they opened recently. Sadly, one out of three hair cuts for my husband was okay. I wish I could say the one after COVID, but it was the worse one!!! He said just trim it up, not too short. I know that making sure you cut to the nape of the neck is important and each persons is different, but this was WAY off the mark and not any where the hair cut that was expected!! We switched it up and tried this barbershop today! We lucked out with no wait (I'm assuming it is because it was a Monday morning). Kylie (I hope I spelled this right) is who cut my sons hair. She did great. She took her time and he looks amazing. The price for the kids cut was $18, which is typical for a barbershop I feel like. This shop does take cash only (just a heads up!) Perfect COVID cut! I've been looking a little homeless due to the pandemic recently but Nomad made it super easy as restrictions were lifted. Easy booking online with text messages to remind you of your appointment on the day. Everyone wearing masks and curtains and spacing placed between stations. Each appointment was spaced with enough time to allow the barber to decon the station before the next patron. Thanks Nomad for the great cut and getting me looking like myself again! read more

Went to one in Franklin... pulled up and my barber was working on some shoes?? Using spray paint and everything, did not wash his hands, fingers were black. Told him I wanted a bald fade taper, went straight to clippers and cut off all my hair to the top of my head on the sides and back , straight bald, no fade at all. I knew he was messing it up, stopped him and asked if he was fading it, he said "I've been doing this for 17 years man". Walked out of the barbershop completely disappointed, not professionals at all. As soon as I left, my barber went back out in front of the shop and started working on his shoes again? Glad to see he was a professional. Rushed the whole haircut, says on website 30 minutes. He was done in 10 minutes with everything. A great barbershop in Greenwood. There are several barbers/stylists to choose from and everyone is friendly. It is also apparent that everyone is a professional and wants to make sure you leave happy. You may book appointments online (although it was difficult for me to change a time afterward, so I cancelled and rebooked), or simply drive by and see if the sign is out front letting you know that there is no wait. Bring cash, because cards are not accepted. There is an ATM in the shop if you forget, but I think it charges you. read more

I hardly ever post reviews first of all so if I am it means I'm extremely unsatisfied. I'm super particular about my hair because a haircut to me makes a huge difference about how I feel about myself and my confidence. I had a barber for so long but he's been MIA so I went to this place thinking I'd get a great fade and attention to detail. Haircuts are $30 here for guys so at that price range I would assume these are well trained barbers to take their time and pay attention to detail. As soon as I sat down and the guy start using clippers I knew he wasn't skilled or maybe he just doesn't enjoy being a barber. I could really go into detail here but I won't. The bottom line is that this place is not worth what they charge and I will never be back. I should have said something right after but I'm not the type of person to do that, plus there was no fixing this because of how short he cut it read more

I wasnt too impressed with this place. I went here wanting a barbershop cut and got an overpriced great clips cut. I guess they have different options but I didnt see a menu and the lady didnt give me any options. I usually do a hard part with a bald fade but she literally just gave me a bald fade with clippers. They also dont display this but its cash only. Pretty mid and disappointing tbh. I live 5 minutes down the road, but I drive 25 to go downtown because Fountain Sq does a better job and is way more informative on their types of cuts. I might try this place out again. We'll see. I just hope the screaming children aren't there. read more

We have gone there several times to get the kids hair cut. We went in today when they where excepting walk ins. They took our oldest right away. They did an excellent job with him. But left us sitting there for 45 mins with the younger 2. We understand if they are busy and can't do it, then tell us. We where ignored till we finally left. One of our kids has autism and they do excellent with him, sadly we won't be going back. read more

I was hesitant at first since I'd been growing out my beard and mustache for over 6 months but, Bailey did an awesome job! I won't think twice about returning. This is by far the best barbershop on the southside. Everyone's treated like fam and being able to book my appt online makes it that much more convenient. I usually get cut with Jay but I've seen the other barbers give out fresh fades too. You won't be disappointed! read more

Very unprofessional staff. Used foul language often while working in front of customers and spoke openly about drugs and alcohol use. Blasted music at absurd volume the entire time. Many people waiting and getting impatient...several left. Not going back. Plenty of other places to get a haircut. read more
