The reason I went to LensCrafters again was I didn't want to wait for my ophthalmologist appointment which takes forever nowadays, but I needed new glasses. I made an appointment to see the optometrist, she did a fairly comprehensive exam for 87 $ and since I was there, I selected some frames and lenses which were comprehensively priced with the discount available. Overall the experience was low pressure and they have a good selection of frames. The result was a good pair of glasses. Unfortunately they dropped the "glasses in about an hour" in favor of the more common " in about a week" Conclusion: Nothing spectacular but painless low stress and competitive prices especially when there is a discount.

I thought THAT was excellent customer service and thanked them! When I came into the store, the young woman who greeted me was so friendly (Caitlyn)! I told her what I was looking for in the way of frames and what my favorite color was, and she told me she'd pull some frames for me while I had my eye exam. She was a HUGE help! Usually, it takes me so long to find a frame that I like, and when I came out of the eye exam, she had about 20 frames for me to try out! I loved that and was able to narrow it down to my top 3 choices, and with her help, I found the one pair that I loved! I picked up my glasses a couple of weeks later and had a minor issue with the reading level on my progressives, so I've been back a couple of times, and they've been so helpful and so friendly. It's a bit of a drive for me to go there, but so worth it! Not only are they the only ones who understand my husband's insurance plan, but they make everything so easy and have such a great staff!

Why aren't you giving me the printout? That's very shady and looks like lying. They don't call when the glasses are in. They didn't put the anti reflective needed. They blame it on an employee being new. How this place is still in business is beyond me.

I live in area and have tried multiple other optical stores without being happy with any given all at least two years of my experience as a customer. Unhappy I said what do I have to lose given BJ's a try. I have been so happy about the whole experience here at BJ's. I have dealt with Babs, Lenard, I can't quite remember the name of the optometrist but all three have been a pleasure to do business with. I do have progressive lenses so I am always prepared for the bottom line and honestly I very pleased with that part as well. Glasses came in earlier fitted and one my way. Returned with minor adjustments and taken care of and again on my way. Couldn't be more pleased and would recommend. I see yelps from years ago and what I read is not my experience at all feel 5 stars a must across all brackets here. Will be returning in the future as well other family to use BJ's Optical.

I ordered them on 4/24 with an expected date of 5/7. Not hearing from them, I called on 5/8 for a status on my order and was told I could come in anytime; they were at the store. Shame the customer needs to call to find out if their order has arrived. I went in on same day to pick them up, one pair fits nice, other pair looks crooked on me. I am told there is nothing they can do about it, that my eyebrows are crooked! Did not offer in any way to help resolve the issue. Over 55 years of wearing glasses , this is the first time I have received a pair of glasses that did not fit right and could not be adjusted. I did not raise my voice. but feel future customers should just be aware of my experience at this store and location. I will get some tape or something to raise one side up to make them look straight ... like every pair I have ever purchased in my 55 years of wearing glasses. If they read this review and try to help me, I will politely decline since they already told me there was nothing they could do to fix them even though they are new and I was very dissatisfied. I was so impressed I decided to get myself checked out, and Dr. Byne has helped me with a complicated and changing prescription in more detail than any professional had before. Dr. Byne asks thoughtful questions about context to make the best recommendations -- is my son's hygiene good enough to handle contact lenses? Exactly how far away do I hold my ebooks when doing my heavy book review reading? -- and is always kind and personable. I've moved away from where the office is very convenient to me, but we still take the drive to get our care here, because it's worth it. Most highly recommended.
