Five stars all around! *warning* this review does politely mention bodily function so if it's not something you want to read, move on, no problem. I was referred to OB/GYN after having persistent lower left quadrant pain (a really nice switchblade effect) that was a serious drag on my energy and well-being for over three years. I had received various potential ideas from well meaning practitioners for why I would be having these pains (ovarian cysts, endometriosis, UTI, interstitial cystitis, pelvic floor issues) and I had clocked more visits than I'd like to admit to urgent care and even several ER visits over the years. The mystery was not getting solved and for mid 2022-23 I was literally working and studying laying down because I couldn't sit for a significant length of time. I'm very grateful for the ER doc who said I needed to see an OB/GYN who could evaluate me for endometriosis. I'm very grateful for the referral to Dr. Graham! I had previously had been a patient of my old gynecologist for 10 years in LA so it's always a bit stressful meeting a new doctor, especially when it's a gynecologist, but Dr. Graham immediately put me at ease. The physical exam was not painful at all. Ladies, we know that there can be a big variation here but Dr. Graham is a total pro. The exam included a pap which when done by inexperienced hands can be excruciating. This was an almost zero pain exam. He also ordered an annual mammogram. He did not want to go right to a laparoscopic surgery for my pain but wanted to try something else first. He had insight that no one else had. He looked at my abdominal CT scan done a few months earlier and suggested since there was a large quantity of stool in the image, that I might have constipation. Because I regularly "went" (but had always struggled in this area since about age 8) I had never mentioned it to a doctor. It was just another problem area that I tried to self-manage. I tried Dr. Graham's suggestion for Miralax used regularly (for regularity) and I began to feel better and with less pain after several weeks. It was nothing short of a miracle after a decade of major struggles and a lifetime of difficulties. There hasn't been a need for further intervention, although I've had a GI referral, a colonoscopy, and follow up for suspected IBS-C with some helpful medication prescribed for cramps. Dr. Graham is the Sherlock Holmes of medicine! I've seen specialists who are so hyper focused on their specialty that they can't see how other parts connect. He has a great mind and a very down to earth way of communication with actionable steps to help. To top it off he was very open to prescribing HRT after I started experiencing major hot flashes this summer. Cue Perimenopause (confirmed with blood work), even though my denial was so strong it took my older sister to give me a reality check that I wasn't just breaking out into sweats dozens of times a day (and night!) because it was hot! I call these tiny pills of estrogen and progesterone my "happy pills"! I had no idea how much I would be helped by Dr. Graham for both a chronic painful condition that had heretofore been undiagnosed, and also with regular gynecological care. This is my first yelp review ever. I tend to shy away from giving them but after having Dr. Graham as my gyn for several years, it's time to give him the review he deserves. After five years ago, I started experiencing peri-menopausal symptoms. I talked to my primary doctor about it and basically she said there was nothing I could do. This was very depressing news as I had hot flashes, brain fog, low energy, and aching joints which are common symptoms. I educated myself through podcasts, internet searches and books on the subject. Then I found Dr. Graham! As Geneva echoed in her recent review, Dr. Graham is well-educated on HRT and open to its benefits. It was life-changing! But, not only that. Dr. Graham worked with me to tune in the type of HRT and levels that were best for me. He is extremely responsive with MySutterHealth online messages and was able to change scrips to dial in the HRT I needed. Since then, I have recommended him to friends in the area without reservation. I had never had a male gyn before this and was hesitant but he goes above and beyond for his patients. This is the worst OBGYN I have ever had. He mangled my arm trying to put in my Nexplanon birth control and I had to have surgery to remove it. I take the pill everyday now but for some reason this doctor only gives me 3 refills at a time and takes FOREVER to approve my refill requests. This guy does not care about women. I would give negative stars if I could. Parking is valet only. Don't forget to bring some cash for the hard working staff. Appointments are easily made in office or via phone. My wife went in for a secondary ultrasound for her pregnancy. Dr. Graham has absolutely no bedside manner, performs a wham, bam, thank you ma'am type of appointment. He said she appeared to have a non viable pregnancy and had to have miscarried. No compassion, no heart, no sorry. Said she could have a D&C that she is completely against and would dread if absolutely necessary. He ordered some follow up bloodwork for several days later and another ultrasound for the following week. My wife asked for bloodwork to be done that day but he declined stating that she needed two tests done 48 hours apart. Our week of heartache and stress was hell. She didn't have any symptoms of a miscarriage and began to doubt everything. Four days later she does what's supposed to be the first of two blood tests. It comes back fantastic. She asks him to order the second tests and he says they're not necessary! She's understandably livid as we could have prevented this ordeal by doing the bloodwork on Thursday instead of Monday. I hate to say it but this man doesn't deserve to be a doctor let alone a gynecologist. I don't give a damn what we have to do but I absolutely refuse to allow him to deliver our baby if she doesn't have another caesarean and her doctor isn't available. He has no heart and I would do whatever you need to do to see someone else. He makes no effort to do a thorough exam and Dr. Guile could teach him a lot but you can't teach an old dog like him new tricks. Funny how her non viable pregnancy is perfectly normal and we have a healthy fetus thus far according to our latest ultrasound. He made no effort on the ultrasound whatsoever. Worse doctor ever!! If I could give zero or negative stars he would be one to receive it. Has no empathy or compassion and does not care at all for patient concerns. I was treated like a nobody and rushed out and was told "you will have a stroke" after a one time follow up of having an elevated blood pressure after having preeclampsia and mind you I was inpatient x4 days w/out need for any blood pressure meds and he would not allow another office visit to check again and wanted to only prescribe meds and that was the only medical opinion he could provide. Then I was told by him "are you even going to come back? I mean, I'm wondering why you are even here now, if you're not going to follow medical advice?" What a f**king douche bag!!! I'm here because I am following discharge medical advice!!! He made no other evaluations and did not even consider allowing me to come back to check again as I was already having a difficult week and the office made me wait over 20mins for a nurse that wasn't even in the office and they did not notice she wasn't there until I had asked why it was taking so long. Who wouldn't be mad and have an elevated bp when their newborn is in the nicu and is having to wait longer than anticipated for a less than 5 min blood pressure office visit? I met doctor Dr. Graham when some of the other doctors had given up on me. It was bittersweet day when I met him, because I was a a recovering pregnant heavy weight alcoholic. (To CLARIFY I NEVER DRANK ALCOHOL WHILE I WAS PREGNANT ) .Dr.Graham was charismatic, young at heart and has a heart,understanding , has knowledge, is committed to his job because he comes in even on his birthday. He has been in practice for years.Dr. Graham sat down to hear about where I was coming from and provided me with the best care he could offer me and my family. Even though there were some things that took place in my baby's delivery room that were not acceptable nor appropriate.You can tell he love life, love people and goes out of his way to help others. I'm grateful to be alive today because he didn't give up on me. He has some great staff in his office but there are two staff that could work on there attitude and the way they speak to people. Dr. Graham plays around a lot on things one may worry too much about. Please work on editing your jokes because at a vulnerable moment your jokes were tasteless;however I thank you for all you did do.Thank you for making my baby and I lives matter. I forgive you for not being able to come to the hospital quickly which is something so many of you doctors deal with because of your work load and appointments. Dr. Jeffrey Graham is the most compassionate and confident OBGYN I have encountered. Since 2015, I have tried to slow and/or stop the growth of Endometriosis. I was initially treated at another hospital and experienced problems after my initial laparoscopy. In the years that followed, I focused on treating the Endometriosis holistically. Despite my efforts, the endometriosis returned, and I switched to Sutter Health Plus to get a different opinion. In December of 2018, I realized I could not make it another year fighting this disease. I realized that I needed a male doctor for compassion and understanding. I came across this Yelp page for Dr. Jeffrey Graham and immediately requested a referral from my primary doctor's office. For my appointment with Dr. Graham, I prepared a summary detailing treatments, testing and medications tried to battle the endometriosis. I expected Dr. Graham would say no to a hysterectomy because it has become difficult to find doctors that believe their patients. Dr. Graham and I had a great conversation and he concluded that there is no need to keep organs in my body that I do not need and are having a severe impact of my quality of life. I felt like my entire life changed in an instant. The day of the surgery Dr. Graham went over everything that was going to be done. I was able to ask questions and obtain clarification. He made me feel very comfortable and when I woke up the pain was not that bad. As of today, the surgery was a week ago and I am feeling that my body is healing. I was a patient with sutter 6 years ago and Dr. Graham was on call. My blood sugars were high and I wasn't feeling well and he told me to see my primary ob on Monday. I didn't listen to him I went to the hospital at almost midnight on a Saturday and I was septic. He delivered my baby five hours later at 35 weeks and failed to prescribe antibiotics. He has zero bedside manner. I spent one week in the hospital and my daughter stayed 8 days. If I would have listened to him, I probably wouldn't be alive to write this post. Dr. Graham has delivered both my twin sisters and my son via C-section. He was polite yet prompt, and made me feel like nothing was going on even though I was in the middle of a surgery. Worst experience ever and I found this dr to be unprofessional. Will not be seeing him again. He even made my guest feel uncomfortable who came with me and he didn't even knock when he came in. I felt like it was a complete waste of my time. At one point he said I should ask a family member for their advice since they had kids which I found to be extremely rude and unprofessional especially since they are not drs and he is. My story sounds very similar to others here. I was told my pregnancy was likely eptopic. I went the ER for abdominal pain and pain when going to the bathroom. I clearly had a UTI, which became even more obvious when the intravenous meds kicked in. However, because I was six weeks pregnant, an ultrasound was done just to make sure everything was ok. The ultrasound showed something on my ovary that Dr. Graham thought to be the baby (come to find out it was a cyst that has been there for ages and is typical when you are first pregnant. Had the doc looked at my chart, he woulda seen that). I was advised I needed surgery for the pregnancy. Before taking me in, Dr. Graham asked me if I was sure I wanted to have the surgery. WTH?! No, I didn't want surgery. I was advised by him that I needed it. He then took me to surgery and called my husband literally 20 minutes later telling him to pick me up. All we were told when I woke up was that it wasn't eptopic and that it was just a cyst. So, I had surgery for nothing and now I have a permanent scar from it. However, I was terrified for weeks that my baby wouldn't survive because of that surgery. Fortunately, my baby wasn't harmed and she is now a very healthy toddler. All in all, I would never let Dr. Graham touch me again if my life depended on it. read more

Dr.Graham is AMAZING! He is currently caring for me on my second Surrogant journey. He was my dr on my first journey, the intended parents played a big role in the journey and he was always kind and willing to spend the extra time with us. At least he didn't kill me. Why isn't there a zero fucking stars burn in hell rating? This guy is so arrogant he thinks it's ok to withhold info from his patients! He failed numerous times to provide me with the knowledge I need to take charge of my health. I ended up having to research my condition on my own to get the info and consult with my GP. Unacceptable. After surgery that found nothing, which is of course a blessing, I asked him so why...?? on the post op appt. His only response to me was I don't know maybe the guy reading your scan was stoned. I later found out that he wrote a valid answer to my question in my files, yet he never said a thing about it during the visit. A nurse practitioner told me a year later. You know, after you've been through surgery that turned out to be all for naught, and have basically had your life turned upside down, a joke like this this can be pretty devastating and hurtful, especially when there is not a serious answer provided. When I confronted him about this, he said he did provide me with complete information, and this is totally a goddamn lie. In addition, I learned of another condition I have that he failed to say a word about. Ladies, don't go to this guy if you give a damn about your health. I only hope someday he finds himself in a situation he can't lie his way out of, and then someone nails his miserable ass to the wall! read more

So I've been a patient of Jeffery Graham for a little more than 2 years now. I've had everything from routine girl stuff, paps, exam ect. to having a tubal ligation and most recently another out patient surgery to correct terrible periods. I sometimes think the Dr. must be too good to be true because no other physician in my 20 years of obgyn experiences has ever come close to the quality of professional, accurate and knowledge that Dr. Graham has effortlessly delivered time and time again. He's an amazing surgeon who I absolutely trust with my very life. He's up to date with all of the latest technology and is highly educated, articulate and yet completely down to earth normal. I never feel inferior or stupid for asking questions and he always explains anything I ask with respect and humor to boot. If he's super busy, I hardly notice. His staff in general is competent and polite. Wait times are absolutely minimal for a busy practice and well worth it if you do on the off chance have to wait. Bottled water, coffee, kids play area that isn't disgusting and outdated are just a few of the perks in his beautiful and comfortable lobby. His personal nurse Kristin is professional, efficient and very sweet. As you can tell I'm a huge proponent of Jeffreys and will stay with him as long as he's in practice. He's clean cut, adorable in both looks and personality on top of being an superior physician and surgeon. If your insurance allows his Sutter group your in luck and foolish not to try him. I'm glad to see others have had good experiences with Dr. Graham. While my experiences with all the other doctors at the Sacramento office have been pretty great, each time I've met with Dr. Graham has been not so great. I think he's probably good taking with easy pregnancies but both of mine were complicated and high risk (I was also seeing an MFM) and he was dismissive, cold and frankly very sassy. The first time I saw him was just after receiving a bad diagnosis for my first pregnancy. He offered zero words of comfort and said "these things happen" and shrugged his shoulders. I was extremely upset by his lack of compassion. The second time I saw him was after an ER visit for bleeding. He, unsolicited, offered up that I might lose the baby. When I spoke to another doctor in that same practice later because I was so shook up by what he said, they said that would be highly unlikely and rare given the circumstances. My third time seeing him was in the morning before my MFM visit. I was having some leaking and concerned I might have ruptured. He did a test to see if it was amniotic fluid and confirmed it was negative. I told him something just didn't feel right though and he became extremely offended and said "Well you probably know better. I've only been doing this for X years" (I forget the number he said 30 years I think). I couldn't believe it. Well, come to find a few short hours later whole at the mfm that I was right, something was wrong! I was dialated and got admitted that day to high risk. If he'd stopped to listen to me and maybe ask some more questions, we might have arrived at doing an ultrasound to check like my MFM did. But instead, he was dismissive and accusatory. I proceeded to see him a few more times while I was in high risk and his visits where, out of all the doctors in that practice, what I called "flybys". My assessment is that he likes the medical/science piece of being a doctor and seems to not have any interest in the human piece of being a doctor, which makes for poor personal interactions. I still go to his group because all the other doctors are fantastic. read more

Dr. Graham delivered my niece and I was fortunate enough to be there for that experience. He was so calm, gentle and peaceful about it, it was a really wonderful delivery. I decided to go to him myself from that experience as I have some complicated issues. He listened to my concerns and we discussed my options and he was very open minded and really seemed to care. He personally called me first thing in the morning with the results of a test I had. Very wonderful to have a doctor who listens and takes the time to talk to you and really truly cares. He is a great Dr. He is compassionate and has a great bedside manner. The other Dr. who inserted my nexplanon was horrible and Dr Graham had to fix it the same day. He took me out of a lot of pain. Some Dr's don't ever want to see a patient that was treated by another Dr. as if they will step on their toes or something. That's why I find it hard to get second opinions at times, maybe that's just with surgeons. Anyway, he took me out of pain. He didn't know why I had a laceration on my arm. He truly helped me and he made me feel at ease. He really listened. All patients want, is to be cared for and treated with dignity. Sometimes I feel with certain providers, that you're just another patient and they know how much money they will get paid with this certain type of insurance. Well, with Dr. Graham, I didn't feel this way. He really helped me and he was so kind. I don't know if he reads Yelp but I want to thank him. I also hope that this review will help others. read more
