Overall do not come here unless you are desperate…read more The receptionist forgot what we were talking about during the call and asked me over and over what day and time. They sent the link to fill out there very unprofessional intake paperwork to my cell phone versus email. In my appt to schedule with an ARNP I asked about the specialities of each provider and all I got was, " they are very good at their job,". I chose the female provider out of of the two based on no information on her background or anything. The day my appt. came my provider Melanie Jappah was not in the meeting by 5 minutes after so I called the front desk who put me on hold, and by some magic my provider appeared at 8 minutes after our appt. started. My provider heard me saying I need to know if she will be running late and she said oh yeah sorry...... The provider started reading off a screen without even an introduction, all the while her camera was not even showing her face. I stopped her and said your face is not on camera-so unprofessional. She started to ask questions that made it very clear she has never seen my intake paperwork so I have no idea why I even filled it out. She kept repeating questions and I said I have answered that already. She rudely told me I needed to answer them as it is an appt. I told her that all of the answers are on my paperwork and I do not want to keep repeating myself. I explained that I have Complex PTSD which she clearly doesn't know anything about as she kept saying depression and anxiety, to which I replied are not separate from complex ptsd but part of it. I ended the appointment right away and will never go back to this clinic.

This is without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had with mental health medication…read moremanagement! I have had three appointments with Estella Denis. Each time I met with her I stressed the importance of getting my medications prescribed with a 90-day supply, so that my insurance would cover it. With the five medications they are prescribing, only three have been a 90-day supply. Which resulted in me having to call multiple times to try and remedy the situation. If you are lucky, you can get a human to talk to about the problem. Unfortunately the human does not know what to do about the situation. Usually I get transferred to leave a voicemail and no one calls back to verify what you are requesting, which results in the medications being prescribed incorrectly. With my first visit there it was important to get the medications filled asap, as the ones I had received while in the hospital were running low. When I left that appointment I assumed the meds were being called in to my local CVS. I was wrong. They couldn't not get the prescriptions to go through, so they asked if they could send it to Walmart. It took them four days to figure out that it was something on their end that wasn't not allowing the prescriptions to go through. They told me they had to start a new encounter. Of course this happened on a weekend and I made multiple calls to voicemails and no one called me back. This should have been what clues me to what was going to happen every single time I tried to get medications refilled. They can not make it happen. Even when I laid out for them to only make prescriptions with a 90-day supply. I wrote what amounts they should be. I showed them the bottles from previous refills so they could see that they were not 90-day refills. They seriously can not figure it out. They only called me back once during this time period, out of probably twenty calls by me and my partner. Why anyone would ever go here is beyond me. I only went here because the hospital set it up as a virtual visit. I live in Wisconsin, so they would not do a virtual visit. It is a three hour round trip drive for me. They also would not send my prescriptions to a pharmacy in Wisconsin. Worst experience I have ever had by far. I will be canceling my next appointment, because this kind of treatment is not helpful when you are already struggling.

I had been sitting there and they saw me but decided to not ask why I'm there? I even got up to look around and no one thought hey I should help this person. A therapist is someone you're suppose to trust. My therapist had been calling in sick just as often as me. I do it because of anxiety and depression. She did it because she was pregnant. I get it. She didn't tell me until it had been months of dealing with her calling in? Like she told me a month or so before she was due. Why didn't she tell me sooner? So when she no showed on me and her staff showed me no respect I was like yeah I do not like it here. I really would like to do DBT and I have a hard time because of my mental health. She closed my account because I told her I wouldn't go to her or that clinic anymore. Now I am struggling to find someone to help me. It's been three weeks of phone tag with the main office. I'm hoping they can at least help me find a different company because this one is giving me no hope for my future in my mental health.

When going out of the country for 10 days, was denied getting the 2 days I need of my adderall to get me back home before my refill. I could understand if I was drug seeking but I legit told them the same number of days they said I had left and then was told Mercy said I would be fine for the 2 days not on my meds. If I was fine being disregulated with my meds I wouldn't be on meds that instruct me to take them daily. The pharmacist and the board of medicine give power to the prescriber (she's a CNP, not a Dr) to ensure patients are taken care of properly, not for them to deny patients med regulation and treat them like criminals just to cover their own ass. It's instances like this that make people not want to seek out proper care, all I wanted was to continue my meds the way that I was prescribed to take them. Instead I am told you'll be fine, the last time insurance was messed up and I was off my meds for a couple days my moods were all over the place and my depression worsened. Glad to know that Mercy knows my body and brains reaction to the drugs better than I do. Sounds like my stability is the farthest thing from this self-serving clinics mind.

Honestly the staff was amazing and truly cared about their clients and their recovery success, but towards the end of my treatment I ran into issues. They had approved for me to miss programming a few times for school activities that were really important to me being a senior in high school, but then one day when I called in that I wouldn't be at treatment because I had a fever and stayed home from school that day, they told me I was kicked out of the program with absolutely no previous warnings whatsoever and without giving any information to my therapist, the management team made her call to tell me I was kicked out!- like if she has to share the news she should be in the loop as to what's going on as she knew me best out of all of the treatment team!! After complaining they finally allowed me to stay in the program only if I came to programming that day with a FEVER! This is especially unacceptable because the residential program is located in the same building and I could easily infect those clients who are medically especially at high health risk!! In addition, towards the end of my time my dietician made some snarky comments to me when I was struggling to finish a meal and it is also very suspicious as to why the turnover rate with staff is so high at this location! Like staff is constantly changing that at my time there in intensive programming I had 3 different therapists! It was really hard to truly dive deep into the root of my Ed having to constantly start from fresh in therapy. Also during the end of my time there a lot of the therapeutic activities such as art and yoga were taken away for no good reasons! Lastly, this program is tailored to early teens and is really not fitting for the more mature older population that the adolescent facility serves (15-18yrs). Although my experience in the adolescent program was not great, since being in the outpatient program at the Adult Como location I have had an AMAZING experience and truly made huge strives in my recovery!! My treatment team has been amazing at communicating between each other which has ultimately aided so much in my recovery success! The teams and people I have interacted with at the adult program are very experienced, well informed and truly know what they are doing!! As much as I had issues with some parts of the Emily Program, they truly are an amazing company and a leader for research and treatment in the nation! Minnesota is so lucky to have them based here, and since their recent partnership with Veritas Collaborative they are only going to grow and continue to provide exceptional care!

Many of the staff is terrible as well they don't do it with care but just for the love of money I don't recommend this location at all. It's a disgusting pig pen the rooms are not clean either I found toenail clippings all over the floor and rat poop in a cubby as well as they don't clean any space the "burrow" is space in the adult unit and it is messy under the couch you can find a very dirty health risking dust and dirt a "BHT" told me they have never moved the couch to clean. I was baffled. As well as the room I was staying in had a light issue and I did not have a light my whole time there it felt inhumane and just unfair even though I brought up the issue multiple time. This is not a safe sanitary place for anyone.
