My hygienist was very kind and accommodating. I waited 30 minutes before being seen which she apologized for and gave me a $5 gift card to Starbucks which is nice (but speaks to the high cost of operating this place). She seemed to listen and did a good job cleaning my teeth. 2 stars is for her. My dentist smelled of private equity and a complete disinterest in people he doesn't relate to. He recommended up-charged toothpaste, and up-charged filling material after explaining basic dental hygiene before asking about my existing habits. Then gave a treatment plan with high cost and high urgency. I received a second opinion from a lower-overhead dentist who had practical equipment and no comfort menu or drinks to speak of, but the same service was offered at a much more affordable price and much of what was itemized by Holladay was included in the overall cost from a well-regarded dentist in the area. My personal cost-incurred was around 1/4 of what Holladay quoted. He knew he could have come in at 7/8 of Holladay's cost and would have won my business but he charged for what I needed and committed to monitoring the rest as they were not of immediate importance. If you drive a Range Rover, require luxury in everything you do, and enjoy lighting money on fire, I'd recommend Holladay. If you drive a Toyota, require practical, affordable dental care from someone who takes pride in providing to the majority of the population without the frills, I'd look elsewhere.

Not only was the procedure done well, it was communicated well from the staff to the dentist. They have a lab on site to make it a one stop office. He has a great, warm bedside manner but was also very helpful in explaining my options during our conversation. Autumn at the front desk was also really warm, funny, real and helpful in outlining my treatment plan and payment options - Great customer service. I'm happy to move forward with treatment once I stabilize funding (girl is in a tight monetary situation but thankfully I got my tooth temporarily fixed so I can continue smiling and talking with confidence!). In-Depth review: Over the years I have learned a lot of powerful lessons in advocating for my health and being assertive in getting solutions from medical professionals. It can be a very daunting experience as a woman to get the right care and long term solutions we can live with particularly when in conversation with older male doctors and dentists that often overpromise in the moment. I won't get into specifics with my previous dentist to suffice to say I wasn't enthused to visit him again to get him to fix his previous work. But I did have a good enough experience previously with the clinic as a whole and felt that good enough work was done and perhaps I could work with a different dentist. I have had a number of visits with Oral Design Dental over the years after experiencing a sort of unique oral health issue - a front tooth fell out in 2017. At the time I choose OD because I appreciated that they had an in-house lab with an experienced designer and that could make the turn around time for crown design and production concentrated and reasonably quick. That year one of their dentists was quickly able to temporarily fix my tooth and then affix the old crown with a new seemingly studier post. A few years later I returned in 2023 and had 6 crowns restored to have a new life cycle and a beautiful confident smile - again with that same dentist. Fast forward to this summer when I was happily biting into a strawberry popsicle at a work party and a DIFFERENT front tooth fell out. Thankfully I was able to prop it back in and it held for the rest of my time in public but I was unnerved that this was happening to me AGAIN and instead of 11 years of nice front teeth it had barely been 3 years. Thankfully with some good mental health practices, a solid and caring support network, and minus an unhealthy romantic partner I was a lot calmer and began to troubleshoot my options. Even though I was still unnerved and a bit concerned about negotiating a fix with the former dentist I decided to go back to the source at OD to discuss a treatment fix as well as payment options since I'm still paying for the 6 crowns that were placed just a short time ago. This time I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I could easily be set up with new dentist Dr. Edward Ward instead of navigating an uncomfortable conversation with my old one. On my first visit Dr Warr was warm, friendly, and very helpful in explaining my options and listening to my thoughts and questions about each of them. We both came to a well informed treatment plan that I could feel good about and he was able to temporarily but more securely put my crown back on before going ahead with the greater work of a permanent fix. I'm very hopeful and comforted to work with him again and I now feel well prepared for the experience. Autumn at the front desk was great to work with too from start to finish and I'm hopeful I can find a payment solution I can work with moving forward!

I have for several years been complaining to village dental of pain in a crowned tooth of my lower…read moreleft jaw. That tooth had a crown put on it by Dr Rauch in 2015ish. The crown came off in 2022ish while I was in Montana and I had it replaced by a local Montana dentist. At my next scheduled cleaning and every cleaning since I told the village dental staff, Dr Rauch and then Dr Purdue of pain in that tooth. They thought the pain was caused by the crown being incorrectly replaced with to much cement, resulting in it being to tall. They ground the crown down a bit and sent me on my way. Finally I made an appointment in early December 2024 to have the ever increasing pain addressed. Dr. Purdue recommended a crown on the opposing tooth in my upper jaw and said he would make it a little shorter so the 2 teeth would not compress so tightly while eating. In fairness that tooth did need a crown regardless but after it was installed the pain was still getting worse. I insisted on another X-Ray which showed a dark shadow surrounding the affected tooth of my lower jaw at which point they referred me to an Endodontist. The Endodontist said the shadow was a void in my jaw caused by an infection which had eaten away the bone. He referred me to an oral surgeon who removed the infected tooth and the neighboring tooth which did not have enough bone around it to remain viable. I am now waiting for a bone graft to get dense enough for implants. The bottom line for me is my complaints regarding pain were ignored or explained away for roughly 2 years. I believe if the Village dental staff or doctors had referred me to specialists after failing to eliminate my pain, the teeth could have been saved.

Located on the second floor, the front desk had me checked in quickly and ready to go at my appt time. Dr. Nguyen was so sweet and welcoming along with the rest of the staff. I got my X-rays done along with my cleaning. My hygienist was gentle but thorough and pleasant the entire time.
