I'm a physician myself & after a near fatal accident I had to seek his services in Michigan. 1998-2008. He listened to me, diagnosed me with numerous factual conditions. From seizures, central apnea,DIPLOPIA,TBI,night terrors, other disc/nerve issues in back&neck. I'd give him 9/10then. But he moved back to California. I then moved to NH where my husband took a position with Dartmouth Hitchcock. I began seeing Dr Thadani@DH neurologist. But in June 2016 I was having new onset neurological issues& went undiagnosed over 6months. I stopped taking NSAIDS,Motrin myself 6/1/16 since that was the only new thing different those months. I signed for my abnormal EMGs/NCTs,EEGs,Sleep studies showing central &mixed apnea, daytime hypersonic etc. My pituitary gland flattened from the severe rollover& down 50ft into a river. Dr Levin seemed concerned, I believed him. But as a female physician I know most Male drs ridicule female patients. In June 2016,still no documents from St Mary's Saginaw general &Dr Levins documents on my health issues. I asked my Dartmouth Hitchcock neurologist to contact Dr Levin to learn about proof of my neurological history. I was stunned because minutes after he spoke to Dr Levin he accused me of hypochondria, doing something to my photos my cellphone proved in video& photos what was happening last 6months,&told me I had secondary gain etc. I was shocked, he kicked me out of the hospital and NEVER has treated me with belief or respect. I'm asking Dr Levin, what did you say to him that he made 180degree turn?? He discharged me despite running a fever& active infection. Within 24hrs an ambulance is taking me to a local hospital with sepsis and pneumonia. Then double pneumonia. Eventually I was sent to BRIGHAMS WOMEN HOSPITAL IN BOSTON& WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STEVEN JOHNSON SYNDROME, VERY SERIOUS &DEADLY CONDITION. I was told my motrin NSAIDs I was taking for my knee were the cause & I had stopped on my own. So numerous physicians at Dartmouth Hitchcock & local totally misdiagnosed me then after speaking to Dr Levin didn't believe me. Was that coincidental?? I need to know. I do get rare conditions & most go undiagnosed for a long time ex 2006 thyroid mass& told yearly benign no need for biopsy. 2010 I heard on TV anyone who had radiation 4 acne in 70s&80s its NOT BENIGN IT'S CANCER. Then took months 2 get a biopsy, which the neurologist failed 12 times2 get tissue & told me he was stopping. I told him NO KEEP GOING!! ME THE PATIENT, BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE! 13th time tissue & cocky radiologist bet me his yearly salary it's benign. I told him I hope so,WRONG IT WAS A TERRIBLE THYROID CANCER which metastasis to parathyroid glands, both thyroid lobes,to bones wrist, ribs etc. If as a patient you don't demand 2nd,3rd 4th etc opinions you are not getting what you deserve. Physicians became greedy, bound by HMOs&PPOs&ownership by hospitals & patient care became assembly line medicine.
I'll give the rating 4 Dr Levin once I know 100% he didn't lie&tell my Dartmouth doctors that nothing is wrong with me
