I have been going to Dr Tsai for semi-annual checkups for several years. Dr Tsai is an excellent, knowledgeable, experienced, skilled physician whom i highly recommend. He is not too old and he is in the prime age of his medical career and knowledge. He has helped me greatly improve and keep all my age related symptoms within the desired range: cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose level etc. He has a very friendly manner, easygoing interaction with patients. Best of all. the waiting room is never crowded. His office works efficiently. so i have never had a long waiting time. His appointments are always right on time. True story. After every lab blood test, Dr Tsai always takes the time to promptly follow up with a personal phone call to give me a quick summarization of the test results. read more

I chose Dr. Tsai as my primary care physician when I moved to the area almost two years ago. As a healthcare provider myself, I am very particular about whom I see for my own care. I have seen Dr. Tsai three times on routine visits, and on another occasion, I received very fast telephone help with an emergency. He is warm, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and responsive. He listens well and explains well. In my opinion, these are all essential qualities for a provider. His office is neat and clean. He and his staff are respectful of my time--they stay on schedule, and I have never had to wait any significant amount of time in the office. As concierge fees go, his are the most reasonable I have seen. I suspect that making his practice concierge has allowed him to deliver the kind of care he does, and it is certainly the kind that I, as a patient, want to receive. read more

I called to make an appointment with this doctor since they were listed as in-network with my insurance. However, when I spoke to the front desk, I was informed that I'd need to pay a $500 annual "membership" fee just to be seen. This fee supposedly grants access to same-week appointments and the doctor's network of specialists. Since when does it cost extra just to schedule an appointment or be referred to specialists? Talk about catering to the rich. This feels like pure greed. Don't waste your time or energy on this office. read more

How about 10 stars! I was a patient of Dr. Tsai for many years. He's a great doctor and very thorough. When he went to concierge, I decided to go to another doctor as I didn't want to pay the fee. However, while the other doctor wasn't bad, the other doctor was challenging to reach for prescriptions. My pharmacy would have to reach out several times, etc. and just not as thorough as Dr. Tsai. So, I was having some symptoms over the last few days and I decided to go ahead and pay the fee for Dr. Tsai. For any of you that are considering paying the fee, you should do it. It is worth it. Not only did I get a next day appointment with Dr. Tsai when I called yesterday, he found that I was in Afib and immediately called a cardiologist and asked them to get me in today, which they did. I am so appreciative of his extra help. Doctors here can take a month or two months to get in to see. Now, I can get the process started and find out what's going on. read more

I was so looking forward to seeing this doctor for the first time. I made an appointment for my husband and I months ago and blocked time out of our busy work schedules. Prior to making the appointment I made sure that Dr. Tsai was in network with our PPO. He was. I even called the office the morning of the appointment to confirm the time and parking situation. Upon check-in, I was told that our PPO would not be billed and instead we could proceed with the new $500 yearly membership if we wanted to move forward with Dr. Tsai. I was upset and asked why I was told about this before wasting my time. The receptionist said that they don't have enough time to call everyone. I called the morning of the appointment and she had an opportunity to tell me then but she didn't. Instead I wasted our time. This is an incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional practice. My entire family has gone to Dr. Tsai for years and he is an excellent doctor, but his practice now requires a $500 per year membership fee to get any sort of care on top of whatever insurance charges. How can working people who already pay high insurance premiums and deductibles be expected to fork over money like that to just get an annual physical and maybe visit once or twice a year for an illness? So, I just received an email today from Dr. Tsai's office about a $500 fee that all patients need to pay to retain him as their doctor. First of all, what? I've never heard of this being done before. Second, as I'm sure all his patients know, he's never available for appointments in any sort of reasonable timeframe. Got a pressing issue? He'll see you in 6 months. (​I will add that his PA is almost always available and she's better than most doctors I've had before.) Instead of doing the sensible thing like most other clinics and cutting new patients off ages ago, he's now ​trying to price people out. This seems extra scummy for a doctor's office and I can't see how this is going to go well for him. The cherry on top - The ​email had the audacity to mention that the response to the new policy "has been overwhelming." I don't know of anyone that would be happy to pay a membership fee to have a doctor, so I'm assuming that means overwhelmingly bad. Friendly, efficient, thorough, and overall an amazing start to finish process; from setting the appointment, to checking in, meeting Dr. Tsai (arguably the most knowledgeable and kind Dr ever), finishing checking out, and even the follow up from the Doctor himself. He clearly engages with the local community, and seems to be doing God's work in this way. I searched for a LONG time for a General Practitioner or Family Medicine doctor, but Dr. Tsai's office was the one for me. He is a good man and one of great character. He was helping older women translate in the lobby, and helping 30yo's like me, and even younger patients. Most inefficient and disrespectful office! The medical assistant measured my height height facing the machine while half my feet were hanging off the scale! Then the manager tried to run my credit card for their biannual payment and was unsuccessful! My bank said there must have been complaints against the vendor that's why it was turned down due to possible fraud. In addition, last two years, he wouldn't even see me, they passed me along to the nurse practitioner who is an airhead. My husband and I are seniors and have picked up many specialists along our path. We were lacking the master to oversee the specialist and catch the areas of our health that fall through the cracks. Dr. Tsai is easy to talk to, has strong communication skills and a great bedside manner. He calls us personally after lab work to discuss results. His schedule gets pretty busy and you may need to wait a couple months for a appointment. But Wait ! He has that covered as well. He has a PA that sees patients when you just can't wait. My amazing doctor that I went to for over 15 years stopped her practice and went to Kaiser. I researched, and found great ratings for Dr Tsai. My husband and I went to him last year for our annual physical. He gave much attention to my husband, which was awesome. Me on the other hand, he spent about two minutes with me, said I looked healthy, and acted like I didn't even have an appointment. I told about a lump on my back, and he just blew it off and told me to get checked by a specialist. He didn't look at it or feel it. His office also didn't want my health history from my previous Dr, which doesn't make sense. how do you know what prescriptions I take, and what conditions I have? Later, I called in to ask for a refill on a medication, and I was very specific for an inhaler for my asthma, they gave my pharmacy a liquid medication rx for a nebulizer. when I called back and said that I need the inhaler and gave them all the information again, and they said they would take care of it, they never called it in to my pharmacy. My husband wants me to give him another try. I'm debating it. read more

I have to agree with all the other reviewers that I'm extremely disappointed with his new $500 a year "membership fee". I had been a patient of Dr. Tsai since 2020. However after my last visit in June I was notified of the $500 membership fee. I was disappointed but still considering it since I did liked him.... However, last week when it was time to renew my medication, I got a message from the pharmacy that the Doctor didn't approve the refill even though I had 3 refills left. I called the office and they told me that if I wasn't planning to sign up for the membership that they would approve the refill. That rubbed me the wrong way and now for sure will look for a new doctor. If you see your doctor twice a year, that's $250 a visit plus whatever they charge your insurance. It doesn't pan out as the average cost for a regular doctor's visit without insurance is about $150.... No Thanks! read more

He even called us In Costa Rica personally to remind us to come in for Bloodwork upon our return. Dr. Tsai is amazing. I recently changed my primary care Physician and saw him for my annual physical. I found Dr. Tsai to be very professional, caring and extremely knowledgeable. Since it was my first time seeing him, he ordered labs for me and some additional tests. He called me minutes after my lab results came in. I missed his call so he called again within the hour and went over each test result thoroughly with me, educating me along the way. Doctors with this level of care are hard to find these days. Follow up review, since i have not reviewed in a few years. And honestly i still have never had a bad experience with Dr Tsai or his office staff. They are great, super helpful and genuinely care. Dr Tsai calls me a few times a week to check on me when i have something going on, he is knowledgeable and gives me great medical care.
