I had a fever for over 10 days even after seeing 4 doctors and receiving antibiotic for 7 days, and my PCP asked me to consult an ID specialist.Dr. Yang and his team managed to schedule an appointment for me the same day I reached out. During my visit, Dr. Yang conducted a comprehensive exam, ordered necessary blood tests, and pinpointed the cause of my fever. My fever went away after just the second appointment. I've been going to Dr. Yang since I was a baby (I'm 25 now). He's funny and genuinely cares about you. The first reviewer (Bara T.) has no idea what she is talking about....and here's why. The average human being is incompetent and just flat out stupid. By "average" I mean 99% of the earth's population. That is why I have given up on humanity. Combine that with a reviewer with zero understanding and medical knowledge, you have fail. That aside...sulfates and sulfites are different. People who have no idea what they are talking about shouldn't speak as if they do. I'm looking at you Bara. Also, the Doctor shouldn't have to tell you to change your diet and exercise because it is common sense. Second of all, it is common knowledge that Physicians can and will prescribe something you are allergic to if it is not adverse. HERE IS THE KICKER!!!!! Having a reaction to sulfites in something you eat or drink DOESN'T MEAN you'll be allergic to sulfonamide medication. If you have a reaction to a sulfonamide antibiotic, you may still be able to take other sulfonamide medications without having a reaction. If a person is severely allergic (anaphylactic reaction) to sulfonamides, this class of drug should be avoided. If the allergic reaction is mild such as a mild rash etc., the clinician should not rule out the use of this class. Keep in mind that sulfa or sulfonamide is not the same as sulfur. DOCTORS KNOW THIS. She chose to write a negative review based on lack of knowledge. Unfortunate, but that's how the general public is. She did get one thing right, however, although she chose not to do it in the first place. Take responsibility for your own health, and stop blaming the person trying to help you when you don't know anything. read more

I don't know. Years ago, I went to see Dr. Yang about a blood test results that showed I was getting pre-diabetic. Instead of instructing me how to modify my diet and exercise program, he decided to prescribe me medication that contained sulfates which I'm allergic to. I don't like doctors who just prescribe medication without regard to anything else. I swell up when I take anything sulfa, sulfates, and I can't even use Neosporin on my skin (there's Polymyxin B Sulfate in there) and wherever I put the Neosporin on my skin, the area swells up to 1/2 inch high, and I had to get it lanced at the urgent care center! I've also had other preservatives make my throat swell. I told him I'm ALLERGIC to sulfa, sulfites, He didn't care. He said that it's better to be alive than to be allergic. When the medicine RX went to the pharmacy, the pharmacy immediately flagged that I'm allergic to this medication and asked him to consider a different one. HE REFUSED, so I told the pharmacist that I REFUSE the medication because of my allergies. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I do NOT agree with his medical opinions. To this date, I've lost 45 lbs, went from a size 16 to size 10, and am much healthier through my diet, exercise, and sleep treatments. The prediabetics is from years of undiagnosed sleep apnea, and as that got treated and my body functioned better, the diet and exercise adjustments really took effect It just goes to show that doctors don't know everything, and it's better to take responsibility for your own health. read more

Dr. Yang is very genuine, caring, competent, honest, and funny. I called his office, and scheduled an appointment due to my fever that kept getting worse. I was instructed to come and see him immediately. Got there, fill out a couple pages of form, and I was on my way to see the doctor. The lady that takes care of the paper work also took my pulse, and she was very sweet! He came in to the room, we chat for a little while, and he said I'll be right back. He diagnosed me, wrote me a prescription, and I was sent home. I picked the prescription up (which is literally downstairs), took the pill, and I swear, three hours later the fever I was dealing with for days literally went away. By 6 p.m. I was feeling great, and I was able to work the next day like nothing happened. Dr. Yang knows his stuff, efficient. and on top of that, he is very accommodating. One thing that really impress me is that he actually went out of his way, relentlessly if you will, to get in contact with me the next day after my visit, to see how am I doing. He called around 9 a.m. but I was unable to answer since I was at work already. He actually called my girlfriend (I put her number as emergency number), and asked her if he could get my email so he could get in touch with me. Sure enough, I got his email (he emailed me personally to check in with me). I don't know if I've been going to crappy doctors (no doctors has personally emailed or called me to see how am I doing), or he is actually care and genuine to his patients. My son has been addicted to opioids (oral opioids and iv heroin) and the only physician who has been able to help him is Dr Yang. He has taken the time to actually talk and connect with my son and my son has responded to Dr Yang's approach, which says a lot. On Suboxone, my son was able to get off heroin, then took the Vivitrol shot and was clean off heroin for about 7 months. He recently relapsed but asked to see Dr Yang again for help. Once again, I am hopeful that my son will be able to fight off his addiction and with Dr Yang's help, it is a strong possibility. Be careful, here is my bad experience with them recently 1. they did not fill the medical form carefully. I found two mistakes done by them. 2. their charge rate is average 40% higher than other peer clinic. you better call other clinic for same services. 3. their use any excuse to charge you more if you ask them to correct the mistake they do. 4 they did not tell you any hidden fee at beginning you ask them until it is happen. 5. Found this place on yelp and super convenient from work and near a Starbucks lol. My husband called this morning to make an appointment and they were able to take him today at 10:30. We got here early. The receptionist was helping another couple and she was very nice and informative. She was also very helpful with my husband, as he doesn't have insurance. She let us know about the Santa Ana health department and that it was cheaper there for shots but we could still get them here if we wanted. I thought that was very nice of her!!! Long story short, one thing that I really like about Dr. Yang is that he was very caring and took his time to answer all my questions while I was there. The thing that really stood out for me is that later that evening he sent me an email with some additional notes and questions to make sure that I'm well prepared for my trip. My primary care physician retired recently and I needed to find a new one. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Yang for a routine physical. The receptionist was very polite and scheduled an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. I agree with everyone that Dr. Yang is caring, friendly, light-hearted, and professional above all else. What surprised me the most was the level of personal attention. I think this alone sets him apart from many doctors. He personally drew the blood for my blood test. It was painless and I felt safe in his capable hands. He also emailed me personally to notify me that my test results were in, first thing in the morning the day after my appointment!
