I used Jeff's Lock and Key for the first time and just like the other reviews say, he is the very best locksmith.

After multiple failure issues with a Yale Assure 2 lock, installed by a general contractor then serviced by an inexperienced locksmith, I decided to call someone who knew what he was doing. Jeff answered my call on a Friday night and was at my house by early Sat afternoon. He installed a new electronic lock I'd purchased (same brand as the previous), duplicated keys for the lock on-site and worked with me to make sure the lock (via the app) was set up and functional. Jeff has years of experience dealing with locks and customers and took the time to understand what I was looking for and how to deliver. If you have an iffy lock and you're thinking, "I'll just go to Home Depot and get a new one...do it myself." That's what we thought. Nope. The new lock we bought, didn't fit and it felt really cheap once we had it out of the packaging...we had an older lock situation - liked the look of the handle and lock combo but it started to stick and became a pain. So we returned the new lock, it was $100, and we call Jeff. He responded quickly and squeezed us in...same day. Beforehand, he asked for pics so he knew what he was working with and had what he needed for the job. This guy!!!! He was not only able to fix our existing lock but fixed the door jamb piece ( it wasn't the right piece for that lock which contributed to the issue). He went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us! Made sure I was able to work it several times before he left. We were so impressed!!! And on top of that, he was such a really great guy!!! Enjoyed his company!! Took him a little over an hour. It's been a week and he just texted to see if all was well with the fix. I've never had this kind of service/follow up from anyone, lock or otherwise. So happy we called him! This lock NEVER worked this well. He's THE BEST!!! Don't mess around, spend half a day trying to fix it when his price was just shy the new lock. CALL JEFF first. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! read more

I reached out to Jeff based on Yelp reviews. They were spot on. I recently moved into the area and I called Jeff to get my locks re-keyed. Jeff showed up Saturday morning on time and we got down to work. The previous owner of my unit had multiple keys for each door. He re-keyed all the locks to accept one key. In addition, I was curious about installing a keypad deadbolt in the garage. He didn't have one in his shop so he drove me to the nearest Home Depot,and we took a look their keypad deadbolt inventory. Jeff is very knowledgeable about keys and locks and explained what would work with my door. He also took the time to introduce me to some of the smart door locks that Home Depot had in stock. We traveled back to my new home where he not only installed the deadbolt, but he took the time to do it correctly and explain how it operates to my wife and myself. Jeff is a professional who will work with you and take the time to walk you through all of the steps. He is probably one of the nicest people I have met since I moved here and is easy to talk to about anything. I told him that his contact info will forever be in my address group.
