We used Jeff's lawn service over the summer and the lawn looked amazing! On time every week and for a reasonable cost

Bought firewood off Jeff. Good wood but overpriced and seemed short. Had a dumper in the bed and wasn't filled all the way.

Very, very disappointing. We had contracted Freier Forestry to do some work to help bring a portion…read moreof our landscaping up to requirements made by our neighborhood association. This included seeding/straw matting and ivy planting (to control soil erosion) at a cost of $1300. We work with landscapers all the time and when something planted fails to grow the following season, they have always replaced it. As noted in a Google AI search ' In Ann Arbor, Michigan, most reputable landscaping companies offer a 1-year warranty on new plant material. If it died within the first year through natural causes, they will replace the ivy plants and labor at no additional cost to the client.' When the ivy failed to grow this spring/summer, we reached out to the company, expecting some sort of remediation given that we paid a higher price for the selected ivy (that was, btw, fully live entering the winter). Rather than inspect the site, Mr. Freier responded; "Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that the ground cover has not taken off as expected. It is unusual that none of it appears to be growing, and without seeing it over the fall and winter, the most likely cause would be that it did not receive enough water after planting and before going dormant. Lack of consistent watering is the most common reason new plant material fails to establish. That said, I do want to be clear that I will not be able to come back out to replant or replace the ground cover. The material installed was the specific variety you selected, which was also at a significantly higher price point than the other domestic options available. Ground cover vegetation has not been warranted by me, and I have not represented it as warrantied due to the number of factors outside my control after installation, including watering, weather, soil conditions, and winter survival. I understand this is disappointing, and I do appreciate you reaching out. I just want to be transparent and fair about what I can and cannot take responsibility for in this situation." You be the judge..
