I found them because my photographer knew Chris and highly recommended her. I have already done a trial run with them and was thoroughly pleased. Both Chris and Toni were super nice and a lot of fun. Also, I looked so wonderful when they were done with me. I brought some pictures of what I was thinking about with my hair and Toni did a great job interpreting what I meant. Chris, would has been written up in Allure and was really great. I left with beautiful photographable make-up but I still looked like myself (or what I like to think I look like). They aren't cheap, but really are about the same price for others that do similar work. They are going to come to the hotel where everyone is staying the day of the wedding and get us all ready before we have to go take pictures. I first met them in San Rafael for my trial. Although I liked my hair and makeup, I decided the the hair style I had picked was just not right for me...I worried a little bit about this as I wasn't sure what I would do but Toni was awesome in that she wasn't stressed that on the wedding day I was still trying to figure out between a down do (with extensions) and an up - but low to the side do... Thankfully one of my other vendors had said that girls usually hate there hair if it is down because they have to fuss with it and since me and my hubby were doing a dance where we did a dramatic dip I thought this was the best option. I had a beautiful head piece that I wanted to use and Toni suggested a up but ponytail to the side with some filler for volume - I would have never thought of this and I LOVED it! Chris did a fantastic job on the make-up. She is sooo calm and just went to work. Now let me say first that I do not usually have my makeup done, nor do I do much to my face on a daily basis. And I think I usually look pretty good. Well, after Elicia worked her magic on me I had no idea that my face could LOOK THIS GOOD! First of all, it didn't look like I was wearing a ton of makeup. Elicia really took into consideration that I am a no fuss kinda lady, so she made me look natural while also playing up my best features! She gave me awesome tips about applying mascara and eyeliner (my lips are sealed...you'll have to see her to get the insider tips!!). And she took away my fears about applying lipstick. The only unfortunate thing about the experience is that I haven't looked as good since that day! I need to move her into my bathroom to do my makeup every morning. Not only is Elicia a wonderful makeup artist, but she is also a down-to-earth person. She made me and my friends feel comfortable while chatting us up about life and beauty stuff. I've posted a couple of before photos so you can see my eyebrows before and after. My eyebrows have always been thin and pale and I have to pencil them in every day and it's a pain and never looks particularly natural or good. Elicia was recommended to me as someone who was the best at doing microstroking and I'm so glad I decided to go through with it. It looks absolutely incredible. I cannot believe how natural and real it looks. I've been getting non-stop positive feedback from everyone in my life. Elicia was so thorough and really allowed me to be a part of designing the right shape for my brows. It was not painful and I felt really secure by the time the procedure began.
