OMG, we truly WERE Blown Away!! After a disastrous first attempt at photos for our new website, and weeks of stressing over it, we rescheduled the shoot and called in the professionals. Rebecca and Christina braved the commute traffic into the heart of the San Francisco Financial District, arrived perfectly on time, and had the first of us done before the photo crew got there! They made us look gorgeous, professional and appropriate (both men and women) (this is IMPORTANT for professional photos!!), babysat everyone's sessions to make sure we stayed looking great, and even made suggestions to the photo crew on angles and poses when the wind wasn't cooperating! Thanks to all they did the shoot was not only a smashing success but everyone actually had fun with it! Complete 180 from the first time. It's the most confident I've felt in front of a camera in years! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! You ladies made the day!!

    My fantastic blow out!

I called this week for a last minute "please save my hair before I cut it myself" appointment. I'd…read morehad a TERRIBLE cut in October and hadn't had it cut since. (yes, it was THAT BAD). Tina called me back the next day and was able to get me in that afternoon. I met her, we chatted about what happened and what I really wanted. She got to work and SAVED my hair (and sanity) she was SO KIND (and funny). My hair looks SO MUCH BETTER and I will absolutely be booking with her again. Thanks, Tina.

Erica. Ask for Erica…read more Before I go into why you should ask for Erica - she cut my hair for my 6th, yes SIXTTH donation of 12" or more to CHILDREN WITH HAIR LOSS. MY hair will once again provide a $1500 natural hair wig to a child at no cost to their family. I am happy to know my donation will remind a young child there is still kindness in the world. You can donate any length but little girls wish for long hair so I wait until I have enough to ensure they get their wish for a curtain-like princess hair wig. You can also donate cash (use your corporate dollar match). Ok back to Erica. To be fair I do not know any of the other ladies at the salon but Erica is amazing. She is really nice to chat with and I enjoyed learning more about my hair from someone with a wealth of knowledge about this really important topic. I think we already know how much I love my hair. The reason I love my hair is because of skilled, educated professionals like Erica who teach me about my hair texture and how to get it to do what I want it to do, look how I want it to look, and continue to grow the way I want it to grow. Erica is passionate about her work and it shows. I love love love my short haircut! Last year I had a lob - this year she gave me an on trend for 2023 choppy bob https://www.cosmopolitan.com/uk/beauty-hair/hair/a42404027/chopped-bob-haircut/ I am super confident my will grow the way I want it to grow so I can donate again next year. Erica took the time to understand my hair texture, my wash and style habits, and basically how I wanted my hair to perform. I learned so much and I got some cool tips and tricks! The salon is adorable - it's looks like a boutique with thoughtful decorative touches you eye catches while your hair is being worked on. Everyone I encountered was a friendly face. The vibe is a chill, neighborhood spot so wear your comfy clothes - prepared to have a relaxing hair appointment. Prices match what I pay in the city as did Erica's high skill level. No one cared I was masked - which I appreciated so much. Enjoy the free convenient parking right outside. You can pay all kinds of ways: Venmo, cc, cash. Personalized care, skilled service, fair pricing, great experience. I love it! Fiver for this neighborhood gem! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES. THANK YOU!!!

I always stayed because I was always hesitant to let just anyone cut or color my hair. I came to Prescision 6 because I have known the owner, Renee, for a very long time. I made the appointment after I got fed up at my last place. Hands down, Renee gave me the BEST haircut that I have ever had. I have a large amount of curly hair and she really knew how to cut it. I walked out of her shop with so much more body and volume. No one else is ever going to cut my hair again. I went back to see Jamira for my color a week later and am also very happy with that too. If you are looking for one of those fancy places that kisses your ass and serves you lattes and has a special girl just to blow dry your hair, then don't come here. If you want to come to a very down-to-earth place, where everyone is cheerful and does a great job, then by all means come her. What I really liked about this place is the way Renee and her other stylists are so friendly. I like the location of this place too, having Peets, Longs Drugs and Lucky's right there is a bonus so I can go and do the rest of my shopping when I am done getting my hair done.

There are so many great shops, cafés, and places to wander before or after an appointment. Pros: Online Booking - Super easy and convenient. Salon Atmosphere - Clean, modern, stylish, and welcoming. Haircut Skill - Very good! I was happy with my haircut. Con: Stylist Tone - The only reason I'm not giving five stars is my experience with Susan's communication style. While talking with a coworker, she used the word "retarded" to describe a TV show episode she didn't like. I understand she wasn't directing it at a person and had no way of knowing that I have a child with disabilities, but it's a word that's difficult for me to hear. Others may feel differently, and I'm not suggesting there was any ill intent. It simply left me feeling that we weren't the right fit. There were also a few comments that came across as dismissive or condescending, though I don't think that was the intention. For example, when discussing the condition of my hair, the delivery felt more like a scolding than guidance. As the saying goes, it's not always what you say, but how you say it. Overall, I found her communication style sharper and more pompous than I personally prefer, and I tend to gravitate toward a warmer, more down-to-earth vibe. To be clear, this is not a criticism of Susan's technical skills. She gave me a great haircut, and I genuinely love the result. For me, it was simply a matter of communication style and personal fit. Overall, I would absolutely return to the salon but with a different stylist and recommend it because the con is very much a personal preference thing, nothing related to the skill or salon environment itself.

I was a bit disappointed with my recent blowout with Susan. I paid a fair price and read good…read morereviews online. Although I liked the end result I didn't like how I was treated. She constantly commented on how much hair I had and it just ended up making me feel bad about even coming in. The first comment she made to me was "ugh I will be here until tomorrow". The whole point of me booking the service was to have help with my thick hair for an important event. I don't get blowouts often, and visit Marin frequently, so I really wanted to try a new place. I would like to emphasize that my hair looked good, however, I felt as though the people skills were lacking. Due to this I would likely not return. I tried to contact the salon to voice some concerns and they were pretty unresponsive/ didn't seem to care.
