    1lb clams and 1lb scallops

The flavors are there but they need more quality control and TLC on their food preparation. The lettuce wraps were good but the lettuce came out huge, broken, and dripping wet. The clams with the mixed sauce were good but it was full of broken shells and sand. There was not one bite where it did not have bits of shells and/or sand. The wait staff was just ok as it was a weekend and would take a long time getting a straw or even a cup for my drink. Only the can was brought out.

It's been awhile since the last time we went here before our recent visit. My mom and I were a little disappointed with the quality of food before but luckily we gave this restaurant another chance. To all of the food we ordered this time, we really like the mussels, fried calamari and the honey walnut prawns. We like how they serve their mussels seafood boil. It's less messy compared to other seafood boils that we've been at as they put the mussels on a plate than serving it in a bag. The Honey Walnut Prawns tastes good as it's not too much of the sauce but at the same time it's a good size to enjoy. I just hope that it's crispier next time. The fried calamari tastes good too especially when we dipped it to the white color sauce. For the service, I didn't get his name but he's amazing. He always checks on us just in case when we need help or if we needed anything. There was just one moment that ruin our recent experience. There was this one server who sends us off negative energy as it seems like she doesn't want to help us out. Luckily the other servers did instead. Overall, the food is

One of the best restaurants in Gilroy, no question about it. Every time I come here, I leave happy and full. They do an amazing job blending Cajun food with Asian fusion, and it's the kind of mix that just works. What makes this spot even better is that it brings together two great restaurants -- Jelly Fish and Pineapple Village -- both owned by the same owner. You basically get two menus in one place, and every dish feels like it's made with real care. When I'm craving Cajun food, I always go for the seafood boil. My go-to is a pound of shrimp with the head on, along with sausage, corn, and potatoes. I usually order it with the Jelly Smack flavor, which is a perfect mix of garlic, butter, and just a little bit of a bite at mild spice. The flavor is rich and addicting, and the sauce soaks into everything -- it's the kind of meal you don't mind getting messy for. On the Asian fusion side, the dishes are just as good. I usually get the Heart Attack Fried Rice, calamari, and Fisherman Prawns. The rice has this perfect balance of crispy texture and savory flavor, and the prawns are always fresh and perfectly cooked. Every dish feels like comfort food but still has that restaurant-quality presentation and taste. I've been coming here for years with my family, and everyone I've brought over the years has loved it. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, awesome vibe and the food never misses. It's one of those rare places that gets better each time you visit. Easy 5 out of 5 stars

Visiting Gilroy and looking for garlicky food on a Monday and found this restaurant. Great find with buttery garlic chunks and sauce on the Lightly Battered Yam Fries, Fried Calamari and Garlic Butter Noodles. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps had garlic too with delicious crispy rice. Toe portions were plenty and thoroughly enjoyed the garlic feast. The servers were friendly, helpful, and super nice, I would gladly come back traveling through Gilroy again

My man and I are super particular with food . And by that we mean, we have been in the food business since we were in diapers . (Thanks mom and dad) Anyways , this place is the place you want to take someone you want to impress . It's honestly not even that expensive for what you get . The drinks are spectacular. It's perfect because it's got a variety of choices on the menu . Its menu has items from different Asian cuisine . I can't wait to take my man back there for his birthday this month ! The ambience is truly what you want when it comes to enjoying delicious food and drinks , no matter who is in your party .

I'm so glad I overlooked the mix batch of reviews and decided to try this place. My mom and I were at the Outlets and she was hungry so I went on Yelp to search up food places nearby. After looking at a few food places we decided to head to Jellyfish Seafood Bar for an early dinner. A big factor why I chose Jellyfish was because I really wanted seafood boil and they had seafood boil here. I really enjoy the concept of this restaurant..seafood boil/thai food. YES YES AND YES!!! Whoever came up with this fusion..10/10 idea!!! If you want Thai food you get Thai food..if you want seafood boil you get seafood boil. Or you can get both!!! My mom and I decided to get both after looking at the menu. We got grilled oysters, garlic noodles, firecracker fried rice, and a mix of the shrimp/mussel seafood boil with jellyfish smack sauce (mix of all the sauces) hot. Everything was really good but our favorite dishes were the firecracker fried rice and the seafood boil!!! The jellyfish smack sauce was seasoned so well and it was a good level of hot..hot but enjoyable. I didn't think it was that spicy but my mom said it was spicy but good spicy. My mom kept raving about how good the jellyfish smack sauce was while we were eating..she kept saying wow this is so good. I agree with her..the sauce is amazing and when you put it on some white rice it tastes soooo good. I'm going to try to explain this..sauces at places like Boiling Crab/ Kickin Crab..etc..like seafood boil in San Jose are Vietnamese owned..therefore their sauces tends to taste like Vietnamese/Cajun flavors. For some reason even though this is a Thai/cajun restaurant the seafood boil didn't have the Asian taste to it..but more so American Louisiana taste..not sure if that's what they're going for..but regardless IT WAS SO SO SO SO SO GOOD!!! As someone who is Vietnamese and loves seafood boil I actually prefer this taste over the Asian one..both are good but if I to choose I would choose the seafood boil sauce from here. Also you need to get the firecracker fried rice!!! I think it's a must if you decide to come here. The way they seasoned the rice was delicious. Spice with a hint of basil. Perfection!!! I'm bummed out this restaurant is all the way in Gilroy. This is the first time I've been to Gilroy in possibly over 10 years. I might just have to come to the Outlets more often so I can come have lunch or dinner here again. If you are in the area give this restaurant a try. Ignore the bad reviews come by and try the food for yourself. Shout out to our wonderful server. I didn't get his name..but he was the taller guy and he was great. He kept checking in us..but of course we were doing great every time he checked because the food was so good. Great food..great service!!! Love it here!!!

Food was amazing!!! We went on a Wednesday during lunch time, table of 4. Not too busy of course lunch time during week day. My son wanted some Cajun seafood and we had never tried Jellyfish so Thought we'd give it a shot, Since it's not too far From home. We ordered the tempura bowl was deff a fave! 5/5 Half order or grilled oyster also amazing! & my son wanted some lobsters tails with their jellyfish smack sauce . Service was also great! Rachelle was very polite & would check on us I would definitely give this hidden little gem in Gilroy a try!

Come hungry and leave stuffed. Wow. So good. Passing through on our way home and we are so glad we stopped. The huge portion of fried okra for only $9 was delicious and crisp. The cowboy burger was one of the best burgers my husband said he has had. We shared the taste of NOLA and it was outstanding. We opted for the jelly fish sauce which is all flavors combined and went with mild for my son. So flavorful it was finger licking good. Service was on point. Glasses of water refilled twice and the server checked on us throughout the meal. Lots of tvs in the restaurant with a different show on each screen, giving a little bit of something for everyone. We took the rest to go but can't wait to come back.

First time getting the crabby combo! It was great as always, my only complaint is that I wished the dungeoness crab was still intact.. you can tell they had it pre opened & sliced in half already. Less flavor, less juices since the inside and head was detached. Definitely a deal breaker for this combo, or just even getting it a la carte .

Gumbo...Been to NOLA several times so I will be the judge.
    Ervin S.

Food was good but not great. Seems they are one in the same with the Thai restaurant next door. My gumbo was warm which was too bad since it should have been hotter. Rice was served in the side versus in the middle. Also, it was missing sausage or I just did not get any. Service was slow and my food came out 10 minutes earlier than my friend's food so it got even colder. Should have just put it on a warmer. From ordering to getting food it was just slow. The gumbo was good but it being cold killed it. Ambiance was generic...Is it a seafood place or cajun place?!? You can't tell so it ends up looking generic. Not a bad place to eat but there are better choices.

Also ordered a Diet Coke and a Modelo. Diet Coke was brought out in a can with no glass or ice, no glass for the beer either. At home, maybe, but would expect more at a restaurant. Ordered the chicken cheese quesadilla, Carne Asada super burrito, and a regular Carne Asada burrito. The chicken in the cheese quesadilla was a bit hard, reminiscent of leftover chicken that has been sitting for a while. Regular burrito was good, plenty of meat, beans and rice. Super burrito was mostly filled with rice and beans, not much meat. The waitress was very nice, however the food left much to be desired. Unfortunately, search for it go to Mexican restaurant in Gilroy continues.

There's a sign that says "Wait to be seated", but no one came out to seat us and a group of people walked past us to go inside, were sat right away. A girl who sat us ended up being our server but took a very long time for her to come back out to even take our drink orders. I had to ask the guy bringing water and tortilla chips who our server was. Once our server arrived she was very nice and answered our menu questions. I ordered the the spicy Mamacita and my friend ordered the pina colada. Both drinks looked cool but mine was very sweet, not really spicy at all and was tiny for $15. I think I mostly paid for the presentation part...flower, popsicle, etc. We both ordered the 3 taco trio and the food came out before long. I had a mahi mahi, carne asada and a taco macho. Again, the food wasn't that great: rice and beans had an off flavor, octopus was chewy in the taco macho, and the mahi was a bit fishy. We took half our food to go and checked out. All in all I would not come back unless it was out of convenience due to the location. The food and drinks have a nice presentation, but the taste of everything wasn't there for me. Although our server was really nice and my friend and I were busy chatting, the service was slow.

Ninja Sushi has clean sleek modern decor. The restaurant is divided into two spacious rooms. In the larger room it's family friendly where the sushi bar, tables, and booths are at for dine in. The other room consists of the full bar with plenty of high chairs. Both rooms look inviting. We ordered the Wonderful sushi roll, two sake nigiri, steamed gyoza, Garlic roll, Star roll, large hazy IPA beer and a glass of Chardonnay. Everything was tasty but nothing special. The Wonderful was flavorful and I enjoyed the little scallops. The gyoza was steamed which made it taste more succulent. Star roll was scrumptious with every bite. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Ninja Sushi. The staff were nice and accommodating. There was a local favorite vibe going on. My one huge gripe though I had was the price point particularly the bento boxes and the special rolls were more pricier than I expected. Since the restaurant is located in Gilroy I expected the price point to be much more fair and on par with the sushi restaurants in Morgan Hill.
