Our family was looking for a place to enjoy beer and find a place that is family friendly. We saw the blue line flag and thought - hey! this place supports law enforcement (being a family of LEOs and first responders) we can hang out and enjoy! Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place for families because this establishment does not serve food. This location is not kid friendly. The owners approach was not open, friendly or welcoming. He did not have food suggestions or suggest what activities can be done for our families' little ones. Great spot in the heart of downtown Gilroy! This taproom used to be self-pour, but even though that feature is gone, it's still an awesome place to hang out and enjoy with friends and family. The space is large, super clean, and very kid-friendly -- tons of board games, a giant Connect Four, and other fun activities to keep everyone entertained. The beer selection is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the restrooms are also clean (always a plus!). There's plenty of street parking nearby and even some outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the weather. Definitely one of Gilroy's best visit! read more

What a neat little spot! Right on the corner of downtown Gilroy, a great little place with a huge selection of beer, you'll be sure to find something that you like! I'm not a huge fan of beer myself, but they offer samples of anything that you wanna try, so that you can make sure that you're getting a beer that you like! I tried the rocket pop sour just because it sounded intriguing, and man was I right! Fruity, not too sweet, and very refreshing on a nice hot day. The bartenders served me super quick and were very accommodating to others who wanted to sample multiple beers. I heard them explaining different flavor profiles to other people, and offering the samples without people even asking. It's clear to me that they want to make sure you end up with a drink that you enjoy, too! Next time I'm in downtown Gilroy I'll definitely be stopping back in! read more

They have a great selection of beers that make all the different types of beer/cider drinkers in our group happy! Super impressed! We stopped in for a beer before dinner and we really love it! Writing this review as I'm sitting here because I didn't want to forget and want people to know how awesome it is. Live music was amazing! Beers are fun to pour yourself without having to wait for someone. Everyone who works here has been super nice and helpful! No attitude or weirdness. Atmosphere is huge for me and I asked if we could dim the lights (once it hit 9pm) and they immediately turned them down and were super cool about it, so many places would have no obliged. We really loved all the games and "stuff to do" they have. Shuffleboard. Corn hole. Fun little table games, decks of cards. Such a nice touch to keep you entertained. Love the decor (beer can Mario) and twinkly lights. Anyways, really great spot! I'm sure we'll have many more fun nights here! Addition- owned is super friendly and cool! Stopped by for coffee with some co-workers. I really liked my iced house coffee. The sweetness level is not adjustable but it has great flavor, not too sweet as long as you mix it up. The interior has nice decor with a few instagramable spots and bar seating. They had a good selection of non-beers (sours/ciders and such). I'll be brining my husband by for drinks! read more

100% recommend this place. Gilroy needed this so bad, to bring young people back to enjoying downtown. The owners are GHS grads so to have them running this amazing small business in our community is so special and totally worth supporting.
