My go-to hair salon! I go to school about 4 hours away and always put off cutting or coloring my hair just so I can come here! The salon is a small but cute place but everyone who works here is beyond nice and accommodating. I also love having the option to book my appointments online! Jerianne is my go-to stylist for updating my balayage when needed and reviving my hair when it's beyond dead. Jerianne singlehandedly brought my hair from scraggly and dry (from years of box dyes) to soft and shiny. Not to mention, Jem's Instagram page always has me wanting to come back and do something new, especially with all their promos! I recently went to JEM for the first time after Covid hit. I was of course a bit nervous to be going out but once I stepped in I was put at ease. They are doing the most to protect their employees and customers with mandatory temperature checks, low capacity, and even a separate room for people who are being extra careful. I have been a loyal customer to JEM since they first started, but specifically, Kat is my girl! She is extremely professional, funny and TALENTED. She also goes out of her way to give me product recommendations and hair advice, whether on or off the clock. Whether It's a full color change or a quick trim , I always leave feeling FRESH! The whole service I received went above and beyond my expectations! I walked in with super damaged, dry hair and i walked out with very soft and healthy looking hair! The atmosphere was relaxing and everyone was super welcoming! The stylist i saw was Jerianne and she was phenomenal! She spoke with me a bit at the start of my appointment to get a feel for what i was experiencing, what some of the challenges I'm facing are, and what my usual routine and products are like. It is hard to find an excellent hair stylist. When I was younger I went to NYC but for sometime now that is not possible. At JEM and with Meghan, I consistently receive fabulous haircuts and colors. Meghan is skillful and possesses a sense of style, flair and a sort of intuition about hair. I always leave feeling so good and receive numerous compliments. Amazing hair stylists, no one comes out of here with a bad hair day. Jerianne was able to turn my hair from blue to a stunning red in one sitting (with my hair still being healthy). The salon is clean and organized. The staff are all knowledgeable about the products and their uses, as well as the ingredients. Friendly atmosphere and excellent service.
