There are threading salons all over NYC. I move back to Westchester County and they do not exist. Ladies (and gentleman), if you have never experienced the wonders of threading, you must! I refuse to get my eyebrows waxed. Threading is much cleaner and lasts longer. This is the only place I have found in Westchester County that does threading and they are located in the Jefferson Valley Mall. It costs $10 for eyebrows but it is totally worth it. Please check it out! Out of all the threading salons I have been to (and I have been to quite a few), they are the best I have come across. You will not regret it! read more

Going to Sara's Salon is always a great experience. I just finished my laser hair removal treatment and continuously go for my eyebrows and the results are always outstanding. I've been growing out my eyebrows for months (after years of over plucking & waxing) and I've been so afraid to go get them done since every time I get them waxed, they always end up super thin again. I usually get my eyebrows threaded in the city for $6. I tell the women who thread my eyebrows exactly how I want my eyebrows shaped and they take their time to make sure they achieve that shape. I needed to get my eyebrows done somewhere around this area and the Threading Beauty Center was the closest salon to me. I told the woman exactly how I wanted my eyebrows shaped. She threaded my eyebrows very quickly and when I saw the final product I was very disappointed. Not only did she not give me the shape I wanted, she took too much hair from certain sections and now my eyebrows are very uneven. I will not go back to this threading salon and do not recommend it. read more

I remember Sara when she was in the Jefferson Valley mall and was happy to hear that she was still in the area. I went to her salon for the first time today and love how she did my brows. She shaped them nicely without making them pencil thin even though I already have thin eyebrows. I was also nervous but Sara was very kind about it. I've been to threading salons where I felt like my eyebrows were being ripped out and/or panicked there'd be nothing left, but there was none of that. Threading is $10 and her salon is only a few minutes away from the mall. I'm glad I don't have to head to the city to have my eyebrows threaded professionally! read more

I usually get my face threaded in the city for $22 but I needed something close to home so decided to try this. I called in advance to make sure the booth was open, it was and I told them I would be there in a half hour. When I arrived a half hour later, there was no one there. I called after 10 minutes of waiting and she said she'd be right there. She came about 10 minutes later and I told her I wanted to keep my eyebrows thick, just clean it up and wanted to feel no hair on my face at all. While she was threading, it didn't feel weird and she used the right thread (i've been threading my face since i was sixteen and know the difference between the thread). When she was done, she didn't show me a mirror or anything. So I paid my $30 plus a tip I wish I never gave because when I got to my car, I saw she made my eyebrows way too thin, when I touched my face, I felt little patches of hair she missed, and she missed noticeable hair on my upper lip. And the worst part is that she made my chin bleed! Which has never happened! A waste of time and money, would rather drive to the city or the danbury mall. horrible experience. read more
