From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm, welcoming energy--thanks in large part to Abby, the amazing salon manager. Her upbeat vibe sets the tone, and her barista skills are unmatched--I always look forward to my iced latte! Salon owners Lauren and Lexi have redefined what a "country" salon can be. With a passion for innovation, they've designed a space that brings cutting-edge technology and a modern vibe to a beautifully rustic setting. Dedicated to mastering their craft, Lauren and Lexi prioritize continuing education--ensuring that every service reflects the latest techniques and trends. Lexi also cares for my hair and is a true artist with my hi/lowlights and balayage--she nails it every time and makes me feel like a new person. I also get regular haircuts and they're always perfectly tailored to my style. I was also a life long blondie who went to a darker base and Lexi transitioned that seamlessly! I have to admit that one of my favorite rituals is my weekly wash / blowout and curl with Ricardo or Noah. They both give incredible scalp massages (seriously spa-level) and are always great to chat with. It's the perfect self-care moment in my week that brings me my much needed peace. The Coven Salon is more than just a salon to me--it's a place to relax, recharge, and walk out feeling amazing. Coven Salon & Spa: My Zen Space I've been a loyal client at Coven Salon for a number of years now, and I can confidently say it's my go-to place for all things self-care. Owners Lauren and Lexi are passionate about ongoing education and constantly bringing cutting-edge services to their clients. Nestled in a peaceful rural setting, The Coven has a vibrant, city-like energy that makes it truly unique. Lauren's hair extension skills are unmatched, and Lexi has truly mastered the art of preparing Hudson Valley brides for their big day. Lexi also cares for my hair and seamlessly transitioned me from a blondie to a darker shade that I not only love, but get so many compliments on! I've made it a weekly routine to visit Ricardo or Noah for my wash, blowout, and curls. Their wash technique alone starts my visit by melting away any tension, and the conversations are always genuine. Julia takes care of my skincare, and I've never felt better. She carries Glymed products as well, which are some of the best in the industry! Abby, the salon manager, is a whole vibe in herself. I been a loyal customer for this amazing salon for 4-5 years. I have worked with multiple stylists of theirs. I feel very listened to in terms of what I want which is always changing. When I first came to this salon, I was looking to save the integrity of my hair. I have wavy- curly hair which can be brittle at times. I also wanted somewhere who is good with color. I always feel in safe hands. My entire head is bleached, and I have never experienced bleach breakage and over processing . When they comb my hair out they are very gentle and make sure not to cause me any pain. Also all of them are very sweet and have a smile on their face. Their place isn't the average salon it has soul, and consistency. I will never leave them!!! I even moved an hour and a half away and I still only come here. Apart from hair, I love their esthetician and her facials are on the affordable end and she's also another friendly place. I have been coming to this salon for over 3 years and absolutely love it. Alexis does an amazing job on my hair every single time and it's always fun catching up with her chit chatting like old friends. The other girls & guys at the salon are all fabulous as well as Julia doing incredible facials, waxing, brows, and lashes. They offer delicious seasonal coffee drinks that are better than starbucks and fun mimosas too!!! Its truly the best! Booked a color and cut with Diana - wow, not only did she accommodate and show up early for me, but took her time, listened to everything I had to say and we discussed what look I was thinking about. Everything came out perfect and she is fantastic. It took me four years since moving to the area to find a place that I am comfortable with, from the moment you walk in right up to saying good bye, you are treated wonderfully and made to feel comfortable.
