However, we had two men show up, unannounced and walk in the back yard while my daughter was swimming, and she was frightened as the game laughed and said, "well, I guess we scared her off", bc she bolted inside understandably. When I called and emailed to express my understanding that the homes needed upkeep, but I request to be notified first, they took no accountability, made an insensitive attempt of an apology, then proceeded to defend the actions, saying the men are pool guys who don't work for the company. I found this odd, bc the truck the men came in one was same Sato truck parked in front of their business. The next day, another man came into the back unannounced and did the lawn on a Saturday mid morning. We could have been cooking out swimming or etc.. No privacy, basic consideration, and integrity were given by this company. Sad bc the owners must be loosing money with the lack of customer service, but they may have no clue. We will NEVER rent this house again. For starters, the kitchen was minimally stocked... Just the required pots, pans, dishes and glassware, but NO serving dishes, platters, etc. We assume their personal serving pieces were in several kitchen cabinets that were locked. MORE importantly, the owners live in a different country, and manage the electrical system for AMI Beach Home from their home abroad. We were UNABLE to use the SPA for several days while the problem was being DISTANTLY resolved. The MOST significant issue was that we were WITHOUT Wi-Fi for six days, a MAJOR inconvenience to us during our stay . After almost a week of the owner trying to fix the problem from abroad, it was finally resolved. To compensate us for our inconvenience at this premier rental, the owners reluctantly but finally agreed to compensate us with a " small gift card to a local restaurant" I will end by saying that my husband and I found this "compensation gift" AN INSULT as we were paying $700+ per night for this premier property Respectfully submitted , Bennett Prichard

If their business is so good that they cannot show common courtesy to their customers, they don't need my business. Keep in mind I had had multiple phone conversations, we confirmed a one month rental while we waited to close on our house, and everything seemed on the up and up. Then they said we hadn't informed them there would be dogs and there was a pet fee. I replied oh yes I did, it was the first email I sent and the first conversation we had in late June. They said well whatever we are charging you. I said no, I told you about the dogs, and we negotiated the month long rental fee which I agreed to pay, and you already knew about the dogs so I assumed it was in that total amount. Then came the rudeness, the gaslighting, and shutting me down. They are not interested at all in customer service, even though I have in writing that I informed them of the dogs. The dogs were part of the deal from the beginning. They charged the card they had on file without my approval and with no additional paperwork signed. On their invoice, it tells you you can go to YapStone Inc if you have complaints about the charges. I did, and followed the info to Florida. The number they tell you to call for Yap immediately is picked up and hangs up on you. So clearly not a legit business number. They also give you a number for Florida Office of Financial Regulation, but THAT number is a scam trying to sell me fake Medicare. Wow wow wow. So now not only do I think the company is just unethical and rude, but I am wondering if this is a fraud scheme from top to bottom because their payment processing company clearly isn't a legit business. There are lots of rentals in Florida folks, look elsewhere and get it from a mom and pop owner who won't scam you like this.

We booked and paid for a vacation rental 3 months in advance, had a…read moresigned contract for the rental, received multiple confirmation emails and phone calls... then got a phone call 3 days before check-in that our "rental was double-booked" and they needed to move us to a different rental. There were not any comparable units available with the key elements of the unit we had already paid for - updated furnishings, sleeps 6, a pool and across the street from the beach, and they didn't offer a discount for these "less than" alternatives. They did refund my money, including all the "add on fees" that added over $500 to our 3-day rental price... and blamed it on the owner of the unit. NOT an honest and just business practice. Book with another vacation rental agency so you don't get stranded like we did!
