I called ahead and was specifically told that the item I wanted was in stock and available for pickup. I drove 1.5 hour to pick it up but was told there has been a mistake and the item was out of stock. The customer service offered nothing. No effort was made to take responsibility or provide any meaningful resolution.

She was very responsive (I was planning my Memphis wedding from Chicago) and organized. I received my invoices within 48 hours over e-mail and was able to pay off my balance online. Because I had s small budget, Holly adjusted my table arrangements to simple gladiolas and greenery, and my bouquet was classic red roses and curly willow. Everything was very simple and classic and looked gorgeous. (I have seem pictures of her other arrangements, and she is also skilled at must more artistic and contemporary floral designs.) Holly was also able to accommodate an additional request of an Indian-style wedding garland. Once I communicated my flower needs, Holly sent pictures, and set up a mock display of the arrangements in her floral studio in Midtown. She charges an additional fee for setup and take down of the flowers, but it is reasonably priced and I was glad to have her in charge of setup. (In retrospect, I would have paid the additional fee to have her take down and handle the flowers instead of my family members.) Cannot say enough good things- this was probably my most positive wedding vendor experience!

The arrangement they created was truly "magnificent" and so overwhelming, I am sure my friend liked it. I had also purchased a giant "Teddy Bear" and a special jewelry item that I entrusted to Holliday to deliver as well. It was December just before the holidays and I asked for a fresh cut, festive arrangement delivered that day. The picture I'm attaching is that of the vase sitting on my friend's doorstep. Even though it was left outside, I wasn't worried about the arrangement dying prematurely since the local temperature on that day was above freezing (44 degrees). My only complaint is I had asked for the florist to text me a picture of my order before it went out for delivery. She agreed (albeit a bit reluctantly), but then never did. That's why this review isn't five stars. I like it when businesses follow through on all their commitments. I order flowers quite frequently for my out-of-town friends. Every florist gladly agrees to send me a quick photo of my arrangement before delivery, so I know I wasn't asking too much of Darling Flowers. The flowers look very pretty (that matters!), but I have no concept of height or fullness because the photo was taken with the vase outside on the ground.
