Mini tapiocas can be orderd if you want to try a few flavor, but you probably can't go wrong with any order. The service was excellent on our first visit, and the only reason it lost a star is because of management. I came back with a larger group on a night that was crowded, and management did not schedule enough servers. It took us three hours when the group was tired from a long day and wanted to get in and out fast. Even with three hours, we had to cancel our dessert order because of delays. I recommended a dish that I had on the previous visit to a friend, and it was served without the herb sauce that made it worthwhile. I noticed someone at another table who ordered the same thing and didn not receive it either, leaving the dish to be unpleasantly dry.
To make things worse, management does not charge 10% for service, which is customary in Brazil, with many servers working with legislators to make sure this is charged and passed on to them in all restaurants. When we went to pay, I witnessed a manager accusing a client of buying an old menu with lower prices in order to save $2.50 off the bill! When the client insisted this was absurd, the manager said he wouldn't charge the client, but would pass the expense on to the server.
Great servers and food, but management needs to consider the servers and customers more!
