This was my 3rd experience with Jeni's and it was definitely the best. All the ice creams were great and the waffle bowl topped it off. What a cute surprise next to 50 West! Easy, free parking all around, but it gets popular and filled up at prime time! I've loved Jeni's ice cream from my visits to the original in Columbus, and can't wait to frequent this new Mason favorite all summer. So excited to see Jeni's open a second location! I've been a fan since their first spot, and this new location totally lives up to the hype. The space is super cute--bright, colorful, and full of personality, just like the staff. Everyone working there is young, fun, and so welcoming. You can really tell they enjoy what they do, and it adds such a great vibe. Another great Jenis location! Helpful employees that help with samples and recommendations! There is some indoor seating as well as a small outdoor patio. Right now there is some parking out front but construction surrounding them is ongoing. I came to take home some pints because often some of their special flavors are only available that way. I wanted to try the Banana cream pie. I did not realize it was dairy free, but despite that it was some of the best ice cream I have had. They use coconut cream in place of the dairy and the creamy flavor that it added was just amazing. Love their waffle bowls. Cannot wait to come back! read more

I loved the establishment it's in a great location. It was a little hard to find due to construction but it'll be better it's in the eyeshot of 50West. The service wasn't very friendly and they seemed a little confused, maybe they were new. The I've cream is fantastic! The lemon bar is my favorite. I love the recycling spot. Some seemed a little confused as to what to put where and others didn't care and tossed it wherever. I am a fan! Love this place! read more

This was our first visit to Jeni's after the Yelp! Elite event. I ordered the standard size, two half scoops in a regular bowl. There's also the choice of a crisp waffle bowl for $1.60 extra. I repeated two of the flavors I had at the Elite event because they were SO GOOD!! One was the salted pb with chocolate flecks. Second was the rainbow BFY. Added a dollop of whipped cream. the young lady serving us was friendly and served us quickly. They have tables indoors and out. We'll be back!! read more

Got to enjoy some Jeni's ice cream for Elite week! Right when you walk in, you'll get hit with the sweet smell of baked waffle cones. The service is always so nice and they are very patient when you're trying to choose your flavors. Their summer flavor strawberry buttermilk is now available. That was the first flavor I sampled when I came in. It was delicious and had to get a whole scoop! I paired it with their gooey butter cake and double dough. Any of their flavors pair great with their waffle bowls, cones and wedges! I really enjoy the location, since it's in walking distance to Fifty West Brewing Company. If you're planning a night out with friends, I definitely recommend stopping by Jeni's ice cream to end off your night! read more

I love their ice cream but twice in a row they give me the sloppiest and unfrozen milkiest milk scoops. Like common I paid $9 plus change each time and the ice cream wasn't firm almost runny. Both times the lady struggled to make the scoops as they wouldn't roll but fall off. I'm sure a few others have experienced the same issue. Next time I'm calling them out if they serve gooey ice cream. I'm got sitting eating mouse like ice cream. Too bad I'm obsessed with this flavor or else I wouldn't be going back. read more

I love Jeni's Ice Cream and I was excited to see one opening kinda close to me (30/40 minutes away). This is a brand new location in what is called The District. The only thing open in the same plaza is a new 50 West Brewery. Parking is a bit confusing because until you are in the parking lot you can't tell where Jeni's is. Thankfully they have flags and signs that are orange to kinda direct you. The shop itself is small, but cute and clean. The outdoor patio area is cute. There are a lot of ice cream flavors that you wouldn't see at other ice cream places. I also love the DF/GF options. Hopefully they'll have more then two in the store year round. I grabbed the DF Lemon Bar and it was the perfect treat on a warm day. Not too lemony, but just enough. My friend got the DF Lemon Bar, Citrus Glazed Pound Cake, and a Passion Fruit flavor. She said they were all good, but the passion fruit and lemon bar were the best. The Citrus Glazed Pound Cake was good, but more cake heavy with a little citrus flavor. The person working the shop was kind and super nice. Lots of great conversation with them. This is an expensive ice cream stop so be prepared. The signature (3 scoops) is $15 and change. We won't go all the time, but we will definitely make a trip a handful of times a year. read more

The ice cream was okay, I got a half and half scoop of gooey butter cake and mint chip. Now don't get me wrong their ice cream and homemade waffle cones are delicious. It's just the mint flavor was really strong and it almost tasted like toothpaste,me personally I didn't love it. But the gooey butter cake was delicious , top tier. Tropical bloom is my favorite!! Although it is said to be seasonal so it's unfortunate I won't always be able to get it and when I do get a pint of it I have to go in shop rather than a grocery store since they don't seem to sell seasonal flavors there. I also think the price should be lower. With this said I would have given it 3 stars, but since I'm not an ice cream person and yet I'm obsessed with this flavor they deserve at least 4. read more
