Our guests had a blast roaming the grounds and the rooms inside, as well as dancing the night away on the terrace, which was surprisingly breezy for a warm August night! People were taking selfies all over the house and gardens because every angle is a perfect photo back drop. We had a long engagement, made longer still by Covid, and Elizabeth was just incredibly warm, considerate, accommodating, professional, and just all-around lovely the entire time. When it came to the big day, Elizabeth was there, guiding us through it and making sure the day went off without a hitch! Choosing this venue was seriously the best decision. We are both forever grateful to Elizabeth and her team!

This was our first time visiting and are not wine connoisseurs. Our server Shannon was very helpful in explaining the wines and making recommendations based on our input. We enjoyed a cross section of the menu. We had the Olives, Bread Service, and Hummus from the Bites menu. The Hummus dish was very good. Among our party we had the Ricotta Gnocchi, Short rib, and slow roasted chicken. I recommend the short rib as a strong dish. The roasted chicken dish could use some attention as the included escarole was a strange side as it had the consistency of dried leaves and was really an inedible part of the dish. The chicken was also "just" done as it had a wee little pink that made the eater a bit nervous about doneness. My daughter had the white wine flight and found it a good way to try multiple different options. I enjoyed the right bank red blend that was recommended based on the mixed experiences of two of us who were sharing a bottle. It was a good choice. I would recommend Turks Head for a nice evening with friends or a romantic evening with that someone special. Another great dining option in West Chester that has been under the radar.

She was very informative and provided information pertaining to each flight option, which was helpful. We ordered one white flight and one red. The red flight was not very good and particularly very dry. Unfortunately, I left most of it behind and did not finish at minimum half of each. The white flight was similar, my friend did not finish the white flight and was very disappointed, given its 30/40 a flight. I don't think we will be returning given other wineries nearby with better quality. I was really looking forward to this, but it was rather disappointing and I felt bad leaving so much wine behind but, it was not palatable.

Our server was great and attentive, the food was really good! We ordered the Caesar salad, calamari, chicken with crab, veal saltimbocca, pasta with shrimp and crab, pasta with meatballs (the person who ordered didn't care for the meatballs but is very particular), baked salmon, and chicken parm dinner. Only issue I would address is that some of the parties food came out at least 5 minutes before the others (about 1/2 the party) which made it awkward. Otherwise, a great experience and all want to return!

I ordered the wild mushroom papperdelle. There was no evidence of wild mushroom in this dish. The papperdelle ate plain. The mushroom "ragu" was sliced button mushrooms that were barely sautéed in a watery/ milky broth (not creamy) as if they did not cook the water out of the mushrooms. The Parmesan was added on top at the table to both dishes. Was there a hint of truffle? Maybe in some truffle oil-maybe. The dish was grossly underseasoned. Not a dish I would reorder. I also ordered the octopus appetizer salad. The octopus was seasoned with harissa (not quite Italian but ok). Unfortunately it was slightly overcooked leaving it chewy. The greens were well-dressed arugula. Again not a dish I would reorder. Our waiter was doing double duty in the kitchen while the bus girl was bussing the table so fast she took our flatware before we could pack up our leftovers while tossing the dessert menus on the table. Just did not get a welcoming vibe and would not return.

Pulling out was tough as it is a busy one lane road. We didn't eat the food as there was none served. The bathrooms were nice. There were a few small bathroom scattered throughout the venue. Will I be back? Sure why not.

Bar staff were friendly and did well with a limited menu. Here are my observations: Although serving a buffet, all proteins (meats) were heavily rationed by food service staff. Desserts ran out quickly, and availability was poorly communicated. Coffee service was initially good, then - ceased (literally brought out cold water to perk). As the dancing began, wait staff began clearing tables. Everything not "protected - at least, verbally" was removed. This included party favors and a table snacks. I was stunned to watch guests repeatedly asked to lift their hands so that napkins (still in use) could be removed. Update (Feb 2017): following above review, I was contacted by someone from the hall. They were professional and courteous, yet wanted to focus my attention on "a lower quality" caterer selection. Further review of the location policies highlighted that hall rental mandates the use of a specific caterers. Which leaves me unclear as to how the caterer is to blame.
