More importantly than his personality, he does a great job. He is an extremely intelligent provider who was always able to answer any questions I threw at him with confidence. Moreover, he is an absolute perfectionist and on multiple occasions, he was able to problem solve and modify the original computerized plan when it was not working for me. He is smarter than the insignia software. Dr. Sandman was a straight shooter and my braces were off in the exact time he promised me. I couldn't be happier with my treatment. His staff is also great. Thanks to her treatment, my teeth are now aligned perfectly and my TMJ symptoms have vastly improved. The Northvale office is lovely, and all the staff are helpful during visits. They called me as I was entering NJ (I live in Manhattan), apparently there was an error with Zocdoc and I should be seen at their Manhattan office instead. At this point I was annoyed but willing to drive back to Manhattan for this appointment. What happened afterwards was what really got me. They had me sit in their office for over an hour waiting for the doctor. She wasn't even in the office. The receptionist kept telling me she was on her way and nearby. If it weren't for this emergency situation I had with my tooth, I would have left then. A doctor who has no respect for other people's time is not worthy imo. She didn't even seem all that sorry when she finally arrived. Asked me where I lived, and said something along the lines of, "since you live in Manhattan, you would have had to travel back anyway." I never would have left Manhattan if I knew I were to be seen in Manhattan, genius. After she took care of my issue, she pointed out a tooth that had moved back since I had my braces removed (I got my braces and retainers elsewhere) and recommended that I call her if I wanted to take care of it. I think I'll look for a doctor who doesn't waste my time, thank you.
