This place is your typical breakfast joint offering your typical breakfast foods. Everything really about this place is typical. From the tables, menu, silverware and the food and prices. Though it has some great reviews - it's just fair for me. The place is normally a bit sticky and a mess, but the traffic keeps on coming in. For me - nothing jumps out at me, but you do get plenty to eat at a very reasonable price! TIP - if you can't find parking on the street - there is plenty behind the building! Jenna's is a great little diner. Theres not a lot of places near by for a good breakfast so we tried this. We were not disappointed. The food was awesome and the prices were low. I ordered a cheese steak breakfast sandwich. It had steak, a fried egg, sautéed peppers and onions, and provolone on a toasted bagel. I haven't seen a sandwich like this anywhere before, it was really damn good. The girlfriend had the breakfast burrito. This was a big burrito and came with hash browns. The hash browns themselves were very good, really crispy on the outside. We split a half order of the biscuits and gravy and it was very good. The gravy was very good, it tasted homemade and had a lot of sausage and black pepper in it. We don't live anywhere close to here, but if we did, I would definitely go to Jenna's often, it was that cheap and delicious. read more

The breakfast burrito is the best I had since I lived in California. The wrap are very good especially the chicken Blt. The service is pretty good and the wait time for food is pretty short compared to most restaurants in the area. The prices are very cheap but the decor could be better. read more

What an experience...truly a local place. Walked in, place was full. I had to take a seat at the bar as there was no other places to sit. No one offered help in finding a seat so I managed to find a place. Good variety of options on the menu. I don't remember the name of the entree I got but it was good. It was scrambled eggs with bacon in it and peppers and onions with hash browns with toast and coffee. The food had good taste (I asked for pepper jack cheese and got American cheese...it wasn't worth a new plate) very filling and hot. It was a little more pricey than expecting. Seems like some of the stuff they asked me about cost more money vs being included with the price. It is definitely a good place for good food but I am not sure I will work hard to bring my whole family back. A loud place as it was full of locals and everyone talking and even strangers talking to whomever they are next to. read more

Jenna's serves basic but reliably good food at very reasonable prices. My parents and I stopped for lunch. I had a very large bowl of Italian wedding soup and a chicken breast sandwich (soup hot and hearty, sandwich cooked perfectly). I love this place. I like any locally owned place that keeps their prices cheap and does a great job serving its customers. My grandma is a regular at Jenna's and they recited her order from memory and treated her so well it made me smile. It's a small place, but it's comfortable there. It is such a local feel and is as far away from a chain restaurant as possible. The decor of the place reminds me of the fifties, back when Dunkirk was booming. It's so old-fashioned, but that's what I like about it. The only negative I would say is that it is a small town, but they don't actually have a parking lot and instead the parking is metered. They only have a few parking spots but the restaurant is so small that it's not such a big deal. Just bring 25 cents for the hour and you're good! The service was good and the food was excellent! I had the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap and it was just divine. So much flavor! read more

Great Food! If you don't mind waiting 45 minutes at a table for it. Fairly unfriendly and indifferent wait staff make what would have been a great review this one instead. We keep going here because of the good home cooked taste and portions but you might want to eat something first before you faint from hunger. Sorry but you shouldn't be made to feel like you're inconveniencing waitresses for more coffee or be ignored when it's obvious there's a backup in the kitchen. Not even a friendly hello or we'll be right with you when arriving... Anything we've tried here over the years has been great - except the consistently poor manners. This little place is an extraordinary find in local eateries and you won't be disappointed in the selection and quality of menu items. The only challenge is ordering before a particular daily special "runs out" that is no surprise due to Jenna's exceptional abilities in preparing her savory recipes. I especially enjoy the homemade soup selections, the "made to order" loaded hash browns with eggs and the Sunday fruit pancakes that are especially worth ordering. The restaurant is usually full, because it is small and personal, but worth the wait. Jenna goes out of her way to ensure that everyone is satisfied with the quality of items selected and served.
