It is no wonder why Parkview is #1 on the Yelp listing. We walked in on a Wednesday and the place was packed. Quant little place that had daily soups and we tried them both. Creamy Chicken Noodle and Smoked Gouda and Tomato. We could have eaten a gallon of each. Both were piping hot and bursting with flavor. Went on to order the Reuben that was loaded with corned beef and presented an amazing Swiss cheese pull. If we lived closer we'd come often. Do not miss this opportunity. read more

What a charming spot we came across in between wineries. It was recommended to us by someone as a great spot for lunch. It didn't disappoint with great portions and good food. Just wow! We came here for lunch and had a great experience. Food is truly fantastic... flavorful, quality ingredients, and affordable too. I ordered the black bean burger on brioche, with a side of roasted veggies, and both were great. The veggies had so much flavor and did not disappoint! Open only for lunch during the week, The Parkview opens a little earlier to offer breakfast on the weekends as well. The atmosphere is classy, yet casual. We went for lunch and everything that we had was fabulous. In particular, I wanted to try the pot pie. That was a popular order that day as I saw many of them go out to tables while enjoying mine. The epitome of comfort food for me, this was possibly the best pot pie I have ever the pleasure of consuming. The consistency of the filling was thick and creamy and the pie crust topping it all off was light, flakey, and buttery. Just perfection. The pot pies also came with a side which were hearty portions for sides. My boyfriend chose a special that day of a three cheese mac-n-cheese. I opted for the Apple Walnut Coleslaw. Again, wow! We also shared a bowl of their Smoked Gouda Tomato Bisque. There were plenty of other items on the menu that sounded good that I'd like to try. Walked in on a Friday night just to take a look at their breakfast menu for the next morning. The owner greeted us, was SUPER personable, and asked us to make a reservation if we were interested in coming by. Menu looked good- so we did make a reservation and so glad we did! I ordered eggs Florentine with a side of potatoes and my husband got their chicken and waffles with potatoes. Everything was Beautifully prepared- service was amazing- owner came by to each table and greeted everyone- portions are huge- omg we were stuffed! They've graciously gave me a complimentary taste of their grits- I'd never tasted grits before- and I was pleasantly surprised. First the address is 13 East Main Street. Definitely worth the trip from Chatauqua or Erie. Easy drive. I was the first customer of the day .... and then a large party and a couple joined me. The restaurant has limited hours ... so plan ahead. Indecision ... reuben, gourmet hamburger, or guac/hummus wrap .... the waiter said reuben most popular, hamburgers were great, and then wrap was a favorite vegetarian option. I had a bowl of tomato gouda bisque, a beautiful large side salad with a champagne vinegarette, and the hummus wrap. I was comforably full and very satisfied. The owners have kept the building's history (large storefront windows and wooden floors). I will definitely return when in the area again. read more

Traveling down 90 and do not want to end up eating junk food at a service station so checked yelp to see if we could find food close to highway that was also fresh. Bonus: outdoor seating as we have our dog. This place checked all the boxes, including having two vegan wraps. There are two high top tables outside. Owner and wait staff could not be friendlier. Brought us water for the pup on a hot day. Served us quickly and the food was excellent. My partner had the rye grilled cheese and tomato bisque and I had the roasted guacamole veggie wrap. Mine came with a side also. Very filling wrap- had fresh summer veggies in it. I probably won't end up needing food in this exact location again but if I did I would certainly come back. Nice place and very cute town to find on 90W to break up the boring interstate! Lots of shops and little walkable area near the restaurant. Free street parking. read more

This is a very charming small restaurant that is only open for about 3 hours on most days. Highly recommend reservations, which we did not know we needed when we entered, but were lucky enough to get seated. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting, a little step back in time. The food was delicious and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic. We both had the pot pie with different sides and it was all very good. We indulged in the cake specials of the day, carrot and lemon, both delicious. The young gentlemen who greeted us upon entering was extremely polite and asked us if we had reservations, when we told him we did not he said he had a table that he could give us but others were reserved, we were happy with that. He went onto explain the menu as he seated us, very welcoming and professional. My reason for this not being 5 stars is the actual waitress that waited on us, She seemed very bothered that we were dining there, she was very cold to us. I said thank you when she brought our coffee and there was no reply, not even a smile. She was nice to the people there you could tell she knew, so I don't know if it was because we were visitors to the area or that we were seated without reservations but she was simply rude to us. I heard her ask the table next to us if they wanted dessert but when she came to our table she just started to give us the check and didn't say a word, I had to tell her that my wife and I wanted dessert. She did not seem happy at all but she did bring it to us, we paid the check and then left. When we left the nice young man that greeted us asked if everything was ok, we replied yes, because I didn't want to complain to him, and he said he was happy he could get us a table. The three times I have eaten at Parkview since we moved to Westfield over 3 years ago, the food has been excellent. We decided to stop in one day and since no employee was around we sat down at the only empty table. When someone did come out, the owner, we were told that there was a reservation for that table so we had to leave. Today two of my friends and I had a reservation today. Since no one was around we seated ourselves. We were having a business lunch and still discussing after eating in a mostly empty restaurant. There were about two other tables still finishing their meal. We felt we were being rushed out and then the owner came by and said there was another reservation for our table, we had to leave. I am thinking in both times we were asked to leave I was dressed in joggers and sneakers, clean and not sloppy. I have eaten out at many places in our area and have never been asked to leave. I have also seen people dressed much worse than I would ever walk out of my house. I may not return to the Parkview. read more

This is a great place in Westfield historic district. Didn't realize this was such a grape growing region (1st Welch's factory). The food was top notch (unfortunately they ran out of quiche- looked incredible). The service was also spot on. Looking forward to coming back here when I'm driving through to Canada. read more

Started with a bottle of 19 crimes followed by spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer it was the best I've tasted in a long, long time. The salad was fresh and crispy as well as it was full of flavor. Dressing was champagne blue cheese and was smooth. Scallops were large an laid on a bed of risotto that was to die for. Sweet and delicious. Nana's pasta and sauce. Homemade sauce, which stands by it self as something to envy, was homemade and passed on from 'grandmother' who apparently knew something we don't on how to bring out flavors Angel hair pasta was in one word 'delicious'. As were the meatballs both filling and full of flavor. The pasta sampler was awesome and cannot be described in a short space. Something to experience and have your tastebuds enjoy. This meal was so filling we debated on dessert and chose the berry blast cake. This dessert is worth the trip to Westfield, NY. It by far is the best tasting dessert we have eaten in a long, long time We will be back that's for sure.
