What a find!!! I almost don't want to leave a review because this place should really remain a secret !!!!! I lived in Dunkirk for several years, but the changes that they have made to the pier and boardwalk are really unbelievable !!!! Shops & restaurants and this gem!! Let me be very clear in saying that there are maybe three tables inside; this is definitely a grab and go restaurant . However there is a huge patio with many many tables even if they are full, which is doubtful, you could certainly grab a spot on the boardwalk nearby . We happened to have a beautiful night and we have an event to go to at SUNY Fredonia so a friend recommended this place . We waited about 15 minutes to place our order. After ordering we enjoyed our drinks out on the patio while we waited for our food. I opted for an alcoholic beverage while my son had a virgin piña colada. Our number was called maybe 15 minutes later and we were served absolute deliciousness. My son ordered the California, which was a delicious crispy fish sandwich while I opted for an Asian chicken wrap. Our food was absolutely delicious. Served just right. The food temperature was perfect and the portions were ample . The service was wonderful. If I ever come upon a beautiful night again in Dunkirk, I will definitely be visiting this place !!!! read more

Love this place. Right on the pier in Dunkirk. Cool vibe in the area, very beach-town. The food and drinks reflect that, lots of seafood and umbrella drinks. But there's a good mix of other cocktails and beers too. The owner seems really nice, she was working the kitchen along with a couple other family members, good to see, especially since it was all women- love a female owned business that's doing well and doing it right. Chicken tenders were good, not great but I think they're on the menu to placate the kids coming so fair enough. The rest of the food was GREAT. We started with calamari and it was great, came with a lemon dressing already on it which was good and didn't detract from the crispiness at all. Also had lots of battered pepper rings as well, nice balance. Combo seafood basket was solid. The shrimp were great as was the haddock - all battered on site. Fries were thin and crispy. The winner though was the California Grouper sandwich which was a daily special. It was fantastic. I could have eaten two. Came on a soft roll, with slaw and bacon and avocado and I forget what else because I devoured it so quickly. I'd go back just for that sandwich. This place is definitely worth a stop if you're ever out by the lake. read more

This boardwalk area is awesome with a ton of different food and drink options & a gorgeous walk on the pier. We ate at Off The Hook, and it was perfect for fried seafood and fun lake drinks. I ordered the Island Salad with coconut shrimp and the Mermaid Water. It was absolutely delicious! I ordered the half, which was the perfect size! The drinks were okay but very fun. There's a pub right nearby and 64 on the Rocks that also have good drinks. I would definitely recommend coming here on a nice day! A lot of the seating is covered but it is all outside. The seafood was fresh and delicious! The corn on the cob was really good too. The drinks are all from mixers, so they were ok. I would check out their bottled beer selection or wine selection next time, rather than a mixed drink. read more

Stopped on a road trip to Maine. 10/10 recommend. Everything we ordered to the table, Garlic Parm sandwich, Baja Fish tacos, the burrito, and island bowl was unreal. Also just recommend the boardwalk in general. Such a cute location. read more

Tried this place, it hadn't been open very long. The inside is quite small but very cool. A friend and I split the seafood burger and the tuna blt. Both were quite good but my fav was the tuna blt. The bacon on it was thick and outstanding. The bread and the roll were both fresh and very good. Looking forward to trying some other things here, especially the soup. read more

Nice little place to grab a bite to eat and something cool to wash it down. It is part of a small collection of shops and eateries by the marina. They call the area the boardwalk, but their "boardwalk" fronts in the parking lot. There are several other food shops so if not everyone in your group wants what they have there are options. We had the fish BLT and the special, boiled Rock Shrimp (they called them dainties or something similar). Both items were prepared well and tasted great to us. We sat outside at one of the picnic tables since the weather was good and it appears that there are few, if any, inside tables along the boardwalk. The owner came by to check on us which was nice. We just heard of this place on Yelp and decided to try it. So glad we did. Photo is the empty box because we inhaled the food too fast for a pic. I had The Hook sandwich which was fried haddock and shrimp with spicy slaw on a hoagie roll. My husband got crab cake sliders. Mine was perfect with a dash of salt added. His was a good but even better with extra spicy mayo put on. Appetizer chips were freshly fried. Very friendly service, we chatted with the personable and informative bartender named Brandy. It's a small place, maybe 10 seats inside, but you can eat outside or walk onto the beach. They also told us that Thursday's in the summer are live music on the beach, tons of people and food trucks.
