I have been desperately looking for a hair salon since my original stylist retired. I've been to a few other places and both of them were disappointing. It took me a long time to muster up the courage to go here after several bad experiences, but I think I've finally found the place. I first came here back in late November right after Thanksgiving to get a haircut. I had Joanna and she gave me the perfect haircut. I was very pleased with the process and decided to book another appointment for a relaxer treatment on my hair. I was given a quote and a date. I just got the relaxer treatment done this Tuesday and I love it! Once again, Joanna did the process and it came out beautifully. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone! Incredible talent. Exceptional service. I was referred by a good friend and I'm so grateful to learn about this place. Jessica is truly gifted. Her quality of service was outstanding during the four hours she did my hair. She is able to identify important hair factors (dryness, color, cut, care) and make appropriate recommendations to make hair look as healthy as possible. Jessica was not out to get more money. She recommended a less expensive option for a hydrating conditioning treatment because she informed me my hair was pretty healthy and did not really need the keratin. Hair looked great curled after I went to this salon but as soon as I went home to look at the new and improved 300.00 hair....was horrified at seeing blotchiness, orange and yellow (colors wanted to avoid) and a lone thick strand of bright highlights. Went to another salon and she had to cut few inches off my damaged hair and correct the blotches and tone it down. This place left toner on for a minute then rinsed. read more

I won't be going back here. There are many nicer salons in Pembroke Pines. This is a small shop in an old strip plaza. The prices seem to vary depending on the day, the person and what they feel like charging you. I wish I had checked their website first. It appeared like they listened and agreed but then did what they wanted without explanation. I had high hopes for this place. Maybe some people have liked their outcome. I was so excited to come to this salon because the reviews were wonderful. After my initial cut I freaked out because it seemed so short. I thought I didn't like it and got historical. I left Jess a bad review, which I fully regret. Full disclosure, I'm suffering from PTSD and the residual effects of a massive car accident. She contacted me instantly and sincerely wanted to make it right. Today she opened the shop just for me and spent 3 hours to do balayage and teach me how to style my layers. I originally left a review of a hair cut with another stylist at this salon I am revising. Today I saw the owner Jessica who was super sweet and attentive to giving me the best service. She trimmed my hair and went above and beyond to make sure I was more then 100 percent satisfied. She did an amazing job on my hair and went way above and beyond what she offered to do to correct the haircut. This salon has been the best thing to happen to my hair in a long time. for almost two years now I've been struggling to get my hair to look like the picture I show the stylists everytime I book an appointment, I've gone to at least 3 different salons and contacted millions (not literally but what felt like) millions of hairstylists some were asking for outrages amounts of money, some never answered, or some refused me. Joanna is a hair styling genius. I came in the first time for a color correction as my previous stylist pretty solidly screwed up my hair color. I came in with VERY orange bulky highlights and toner that was all over the place. So I was really excited to try this Salon. I need my ends trimmed, would like some wispy bangs, and my color fixed from a previous bad dye job. Great reviews on Google and Yelp and a good location near my home so the place looked really promising. I called today around 5 to inquire about coming in Saturday morning. I was told there was no way that could happen because there are no available appointments and that even if I walked in, there is no guarantee that anyone can do anything. Or I would have to wait for 3-4 people with appointments to be done...then the woman who answered said they would take down my information anyway. When I preceded give my name and info and to explain that I wanted my hair color fixed and possibly an ombré look. The person on the phone preceded to rattle off the different reasons why I can't come in...ok Then midway through the conversation switches to Spanish and is now yelling at a potential customer in Spanish on the phone. Mind you, I can understand and am all for having a bilingual salon but I was speaking in English. Needless to say I just hung up the phone. Pretty disappointed. Wouldn't recommend. EDIT After my negative review the owner reached out to me to apologize for the person on the phone. It's a new place and there isn't a receptionist answering calls yet. I can respect that. I still haven't gone here but I would say try it out, the pictures look amazing. The owner Jessica also seems to care about her customers. read more
