I saw Kristin for the first time about two years ago, and I really appreciate her non-judgmental, careful way of getting you to open up. I'm not someone who talks about much, really, but this turned out to be the best investment I've made in myself. While it's expensive, it's worth it. Even just going for "maintenance" sessions is helpful. I started off every other week, but that wasn't enough, so I went once, sometimes twice a week for a couple of months. After that, I was able to use the tools she gave me in the real world, and the benefits really stick. You matter to people in this world, so you have to matter to yourself too.

The intake process was easy, but everything after that was a mess. I logged into my scheduled intake appointment and waited over 20 minutes with no provider. When I tried calling multiple times to see if the provider was late, no one answered. I eventually emailed and was told I had canceled my appointment 18 minutes before it started, which is completely untrue. I did not cancel -- I logged in and waited. Instead of calling to figure out what happened, they charged me for a missed appointment. Later I was told "Google canceled it," and now billing has to "review" whether I'll be reimbursed. Unprofessional, stressful, and not acceptable -- especially for a therapy practice.

His input saved my marriage and got me over a number of hurdles in my life. Besides those events, he keeps me on an even keel. Since John works with kids, he had a program suited for the pre-teen age group and their emotional needs/communication that didn't feel "childish" to my 10 y/o. After about 2 weeks (1 session a week) , our family dynamic changed for the better.
