I felt that they can be better equipped with better and modern equipment to locate problem more accurately to prevent extra work and process can be improved to discuss about pricing and get approval first before proceed especially on the change order. Overall responsibility is definitely there. It comes with a hefty price tag about 25-30% more than others. If you are looking for quick fix and decent quality job , this is it. If you have time and not urgent fix, take time to search around. Others may be cheaper but they will come in several batches for different jobs and need sone scheduling. I wish I had a good review to give to this people, but they will not stand behind their work. Had them come DIAGNOSE and FIX a leak on one of the garden faucets, and their diagnose was the faucet needed replacement and so they replaced it. It's been leaking for months after the repair and since this is a rental house and we had Christmas in between, the tenant informed me about 2.5 months later that there was still a leak. I had to dig some of the pipe to find that 5 inches below the faucet there was a fitting that was still loose and leaking. When called the company to come over and take care of the leak they wanted another ~$500 to take care of ~1ft of copper. Even the manager over the phone said and I quote "Even if you had called me the next day after the repair, we will still had to invoice you for the fix" WHAT?? What kind of licensed plumbers are this guys that won't stand behind their work? I just hope they take care of the customers going forward, remember the market has ups and downs and although you are enjoying a never ending supply of customers that will not last forever. I hate giving bad reviews but felt others need to know my experience with this company. Here are the facts: This started with water leaking between the floor and toilet. I figured it was the wax ring so I went out and purchased one and replaced the old one. It did not work. I pulled the toilet and saw that water was standing in the pipe. I checked yelp and called Jennings because of the good rating. They came out and first said that the flange needed replaced. They could patch it for $450 or do it right for $1200. I went with the $1200. They also said they would check the line for the clog but never did. The first person did not put the flange back in the correct position but after a call to Shawn, the owner, they came back out and put it where it needed to be. I then paid another company $220 to repair the tile. I knew I was going to have to absorb this cost. Included in the $1200 was for Jennings to come back out and re-set the toilet. The person they sent out to set the toilet told me that there was now a leak between the tank and bowl. He said the gasket probably dry rotted. He suggested I replace the toilet and he would come back and re-set it for $275. Or he could re-build it for $375. This is only a 10 year old Kohler so I figured I could replace the gasket if needed. Turns out I didn't need to! I checked the bolts between the tank and bowl and they were loose. I snugged them up and the leak was solved! I was pretty upset with the up sell and left a message for Shawn to call me so I could tell him my experience with his company. He never returned my call. Now I am out $1440 and still have the same problem of the pipe being clogged. I plan to call another plumber as I have lost all confidence and trust in Jennings. read more

He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. Jennings came out to my home in McKinney after the home warranty company sent another company who were complete frauds and said the problem couldn't be corrected (HRS Plumbing out of Plano & Richardson). Michael with Jennings called to let me know he was on his way and arrived in less than 30 minutes. Once I told him about the problem with my tankless hot water heater and he saw the shower heads I have, he knew exactly what the problem was. It was as simple as removing the flow restrictors! He and his assistant were SO nice and professional (wore booty covers and were very careful) and had the job done in under an hour. The only time they could come out was the next day, they seemed to think it was acceptable for me to live without running water for 24 hours. Living in an older home with cast iron sewer lines that finally corroded away, we were faced with a major cost to tunnel under our slab foundation and replace the entire system. I happened upon the idea to route the new lines a different way and asked Jennings Plumbing for a quote. The price was acceptable and reasonable. The crews were conscientious, courteous, and careful. They explained there would only be a short time, ( just a couple of hours for tie in of new lines) that our drains would be unusable, and we were hardly inconvenienced throughout the week long project. The crews also did a great job of clean up to our entire yard. There was over 100 feet of trenching to be done. Backfilling of the trenches was tidy, and best of all, our drains have been awesome since the work was completed. Shawn Jennings also was prompt at returning texts and phone calls. Outstanding experience! Called Jennings after three failed attempts on my own part to fix a leaky bathtub faucet. They sent out Michael who was on time, very courteous and even showed me what I had done incorrectly in my efforts to fix the faucet. Today was the third time we had Jennings come to our house. We moved into this house about three years ago. We have had to call Jennings out once for a new water heater and twice for clogged drain. Today's service cal was to survey our drains with a camera. Now let me back up. Michael changed out our water heater . He also brought the new installation up to currant code requirements. Michael was very courteous and professional. Steven was the lead man on today's crew, he did his job withdrew diligence. But, mostimportant, he conducted himself in a ver professional manner and in a gentlemanly manner.
