2026 - One more plumbing update! Michael returned to my home to fix a ceiling vent on my water heater. He gave me the options and we chose the one that works best for the situation and budget. Everything is always done well and thoroughly, and always up to code. I have photos for all the work and will continue to call Watermark for any plumbing needs. Michael is the best! 2023 - Plumbing update! It is a work of art! Michael installed everything perfectly - photos were taken under the house so that the city inspection was easy, the insurance has the photos and it is all fixed! Michael tested the plumbing every step of the way, even digging extra because he wanted a slight adjustment to make the outbound sewer line perfect. I found Watermark Plumbing doing a Google Search. I thought I would give them a try. We had a kitchen sink that was draining slow. John, I believe that was his name, showed up and after seeing the problem said he would have to run a snake to clear it out and it would be $300 and something dollars, I believe, but after determining he would not need to run the snake he said the charge was be aprox. half of the original amount. It did not take long and it was draining fine, he said it looked like grease had built up and cleared it out. YEs, I would recommend Watermark for your plumbing needs. read more

We contacted Watermark on June 8, 2024 to help locate leak in either the pressure piping (water supply line) or drain from the showers. The technician told us that there were no plumbing leaks but they found that the bath tiles were having calking issues and they needed to be fixed. We called another contractor to fix any leaks in the tiles and the leaks continued from the second room bathroom area. We also noticed that there was a small leak in the pressure piping system We called Watermark again, telling them that we had located the leak and they should fix the leak. The technician insisted that I should pay them for a 30 minutes diagnostics' charge, not including any charge to fix the problem. We called the Owner, explaining him that we have already paid diagnostic's in June 8, and we should not have to pay duplex charge. The Owner insisted that we should have pay another $230 .. This sounded like an unfair business practice. I am a water treatment professional, a business owner and deal with water problems over 52 years. Charging the customer TWICE for diagnosis is not the fair business practice. I would have gladly paid for repairs. I shall not do business with Watermark plumbing. read more

I had a leak in my main water supply in my front yard. I tried two other companies who were either unable to find the leak or just trying to blatantly upsell me on an entire supply line vs. just fixing the leak. I called Watermark who were extremely responsive and gave me a rapid and honest evaluation of the problem with upfront pricing. Within an hour they had located the leak and exposed the broken pipe despite it being in a difficult location with large tree roots. My water heater stopped working on a Friday afternoon, and I was having a pet sitter stay with my dog starting on Sunday. I really needed to get a new water heater installed before the pet sitter got there. I called a few other plumbers, but no one could come out for like a week. Watermark was able to come out that afternoon, though! Michael and another plumber (I'm sorry- I can't remember the other name!) worked until like 8 or 9pm that night. I am very thankful they installed it so quickly, even though I know it was not fun for them to work that late on a Friday. I called Watermark again later that evening because I had one concern, and Michael came back first thing on Saturday morning to make sure I everything was ok (and it was). I have used Watermark several times and they are always very prompt (sometimes the same day!). From a leaky faucet to repairing a toliet and refrigerator water line, they are excellent. Their plumbers are incredibly knowledgeable, and go out of their way to make sure you are getting your money's worth. They have even not charged me if it was a simple fix that I could do my self. And then they texted my husband at the end of the day saying that they're putting us on the wait list for another week or so. In my informed opinion, you'd be wise to look for plumbing solutions with anyone but Watermark. Don't believe their "family friendly" charade. On day one, I pointed out the leak in the front yard. Asked them to fix it first. They insisted they knew better and brought out a contractor to detect leaks $$$. They dug a huge hole in the backyard only to find no leak. Leak detector came back twice...couldn't even find the leak they previously said was in back. Found no leaks except the one in the front yard that I pointed out. Such a waste of time. It was a week later when they finally fixed the one leak in the front. It was a simple cut-and-replace job, yet they added two unneeded valves. I asked that they just replace the pipe section with the leak. That, plus the install of a shower valve (which I purchased), brought the total outlay to $3100. The plumber, Aaron, said that I was entitled to a substantial refund. I've tried to work with the GM, Tim, on getting money refunded because even he said he'd make it right. After working with Tim for a month without results, he's obviously impotent to make decisions about much. Tim passes the buck saying the owner won't respond to him. As if that were not enough, they left a mess of old parts in the front yard. Dishonest and awful. read more

My best experience yet dealing with plumbers. They texted me prior to my technicians arrival, and gave me his picture, background, and some personal tidbits (about his interests and family) that made me very comfortable with him showing up at our house. When you hire contractors, you never know what you're going to get so this little touch was awesome. Upon his arrival, Bryan was great at identifying the problem, and crafting a solution. Part of the process was to possibly obtain a permit from the city of Allen, so he drove to the courthouse to get one - turns out we did not need one, so he was able to start the work immediately. About an hour later, he was done and buttoned everything up better than it looked before. He sent me pictures of the repairs, and gave us a warranty to boot. Fantastic work all around! read more

I wanted to love this company/service. The initial customer service was quick and easy - they returned my email within a couple hours, had someone come visit me the same day, waived the dispatch fee, and the serviceman was polite. He discussed my options with me and offered to run some tests. He explained specifically what the test plan would be to test my pipes, which is all I wanted done. The results of that test alone would confirm my suspicions that my grout needed to be replaced. He ran his tests and I watched. After each test, he confirmed no leak in the ceiling below the shower and said the tests confirmed no issues with the pipes. I stepped away to finish some work while he packed up his tools. After a few minutes, he said he found the problem and needed some towels. I worked with him, using all of my towels, to mop up the water pouring from my ceiling into my kitchen. I found out that he deviated from the plan he discussed with me about testing just the pipes - he decided to pour water onto the tiles that had broken/missing grout to confirm my theory. Now my ceiling is in worse shape than when he came, which was unnecessary and not part of the test plan. After a long, grueling day of work, this was not something I wanted to deal with. I give him the benefit of the doubt that he was just trying to help prove that the pipes were okay, but pouring water into my tiles was not what I paid all this money for. Heartbroken. I could've gone without the pipe tests at this rate. read more

We have used Watermark Plumbing twice. Both times the pros knew what the issue was and fixed it. 1st time was for a leak near the water meter. Turned out the connection to the sprinkler system failed. Jason and his helper dug the hole, found and repaired the leak. Then returned the next day to make sure it was good to go. The explanation of what had happened and what they did was clear. For the amount of time two men spent on this, the charge was more to my side. 2nd time was to install a replacement faucet (after this user's error in attempting to fix a minor issue, turned into a major one). Brian was on time and worked quickly to complete the work. Then spent the time to explain what to watch for if there was any future issues. On his own, looked at a bathroom stopper not working and Bam! fixed it in a minute. I cannot recommend Watermark highly enough. They are thoroughly professional and have an excellent system to keep you up to date about appointments. read more

Upon calling to schedule service, Adrian was super friendly, she assured me I chose the right company, that I could be seen same day and called when the tech was en route. She even sent a text reminder. That's when I met Taylor who gave me the run down. Essentially I didn't have a plumbing leak from what he saw visually. Even though it was coming from behind the sink, most likely it was the AC. He said he could rip open the wall to be sure- but to have the AC checked first. He also referred a water extraction company to assist which I used. I appreciated his honesty in this stressful scenario. They didn't try to milk or charge me unnecessarily.
