I came here for a hydrafacial and filler/tox with Sara. I would not come back for another facial. It was just okay, didn't break me out but didn't do anything amazing for my skin. I think they use a lot of IS Clinical products, which a lot of people love, but they don't do a lot for me personally. I usually leave a hydrafacial glowing and that lasts for several days (the kind of skin people comment on), and I didn't get that kind of result. Facial like 2.5/5 Sara on the other hand is a GEM. 6 stars for her. I've been on the fence about cheek filler for years. She walked me through all of it, made me feel comfortable, and didn't overfill. It's a *subtle* change that only I notice, but boy do I love it. It's changed the game for me and is perfect for what I wanted. It also helped my under-eye circles look less noticeable. I'm wary of injectors on IG who turn your face into a pillow- she will not do that. Also she's just so nice! Worth the trip out from dc. The botox wasn't exactly right, but we were treating a tough spot (chin) and trying a new product that I hadn't used before. I totally trust next time it will be perfect. I appreciate her less is more approach and would rather still have some lines than be frozen. read more

This place is a gem! The experience here always has me leaving with a smile and sometimes floating on a cloud. The team is so professional and extremely good at what they do. The space is clean, serene and tasteful. I adore Jenny and Jason. I've gotten my facials and massages with them for over four years, starting when they were at Renu Med Spa. So excited that they opened up their own place! Massages with Jason are the best I've had anywhere. He knows your anatomy so he gets deep into tissues with expertise not just sheer force or pressure, so the effects last longer than most massages (a few weeks instead of a week or a day like at most places). I still remember how after the first time I could SEE the changes in my shoulder/neck line. I've lived with a incredibly tight neck for so long I just thought it was part of my body type. Working with Jason, that's no longer my norm and neither are tension headaches! Plus he's a great person :) Jenny is amazing!! My skin looks and feels it's best when it's under her care. I don't have to do any of the work in figuring out what I want done--she takes care of everything based on the needs of my skin and age. I've had amazing facials with Peggy. Never had a facial so through before. I went to a party one evening after a facial and was told that my skin glowed! The office is very pretty decorated and serves cucumber water. Everyone was very friendly. It is hard to get an appointment as they book up months in advance. I am from NYC, and it took me a long while to find someone to care for my skin. She is honest, and dedicated in skincare, and getting your skin right. Her staff are professional and courteous. Sara is hands down the best injector I have ever been to. I've seen her for Botox, filler, and Kybella and she's done an amazing job with everything. She keeps everything super natural and not overdone at all. She is so great about listening to my concerns and what I think I want, but ultimately I've come to totally trust her recommendations when it comes to types of products, amounts, etc. (she's never been wrong!). I have been to both Jenny and Pegg in past years for a hydrafacial and recommend both-each time I would have a nice glow that lasted at least a week and my skin was happy; 5 stars for both Jenny and Pegg. This time, I went to a different specialist at this spa and am disappointed in the result vs. the price of the service I received. I have a burn on my cheek and my skin has crusted around my nose and hurts to the touch. I do not have the signature glow I experienced in the past after seeing Jenny or Pegg. While I do have sensitive skin, I've received hydrafacials from this establishment before with great results. The specialist I went to this time was very nice and I will say, she was accommodating to me being 10 minutes late due to heavy traffic. I am giving the 3 stars for her friendliness and kind nature, but in terms of the actual service, I have to say I paid a good amount of money to have my skin burned and irritated. It's disappointing when you pay a lot in good faith and there is a negative result. I will not return to this specific specialist, but again, Jenny and Pegg were great when I received hydrafacials from them in the past. read more

I have been following Jenny and Pegg for the past ten years. Both have provided exceptional quality services. I used to suffer from breakouts until I started seeing them regularly. My skin has been clear for several years now...but I still go to maintain my skin. They recommended a skincare regime and have modified it over the years; but, never push products. My goals are to keep my skin clear, youthful naturally, and I am completely confident that this where I will get the best advise. It's hard to get an appointment as they are booked months in advance. However, the staff is extremely helpful in accommodating my schedule. I always book ahead, but they are great about getting me off the waitlist if I have to cancel. I do no get the hype. The office is a bit dreary, in the basement of a rundown apartment building. Definitely not a spa experience. The facial was nothing special-I would say perfectly adequate. Extractions seemed to be performed well, though there were only 2. The upsell for products was quite aggressive. The parking situation captured the experience as a whole: "free parking" was actually $2 off,and I paid $5. Not a big deal but I would have parked elsewhere had I known. If I could give Jenny 10 stars, I would! I had her a couple of times at Renu MedSpa and got excited that she started her own business. I got even more excited when I learned that Pegg was going to join her! I don't trust just anyone with my skin. Last time I did, this person totally botched it up! I live in Centreville, VA, but I'm more than willing to drive all the way over to Friendship Heights just for Jenny and Pegg's services. What I like is that they're honest with telling you exactly what the problem is and they give you a tailored solution. They don't try to upsell you and convince you to buy extra stuff you don't need. I wasted my money buying skin care stuff from sephora that didn't work and getting advice from someone who makes $12/hr (no offense). If you have the money to spend at Sephora, then it would be better spent on an ACTUAL skincare expert who will not set you up for failure. read more

As a new client, I got the Intro to the works facial and consultation. I booked with Jackie, and she started by gently cleansing, asking me questions about my skin routine and then closely examining my skin. After this consultation, Jackie decided to give me a hydrafacial, and since then, my skin has never looked or felt this good! Amongst other things, the extractions were amazing, very efficient and on my entire face. The whole process was incredibly relaxing, and Jackie guided me through it and answered all my questions. She kindly recommended products for my congested skin, and they have worked miracles. The texture of my skin has completely changed - I used to have congestion/small bumps on my cheek area but it is now completely smooth. I'm an African-American woman who has adult acne and sensitive skin. I've tried many estheticians in the area including the popular one that rhymes with "miss." None of them provided the attention and care that Jenny has given me. She is knowledgeable, friendly, reassuring and happily answers your questions. The estheticians I tried did not have a long term plan for addressing blemishes or recurring acne but Jenny does and she explains the regimen to you. More importantly, the regimen works. I've visited Jenny 3 times and observed a huge improvement in my skin including virtually no breakouts, smoother and clearer skin. I had 2 unsightly whiteheads on my face during my recent facial (due to use of eye drops) and one day later my skin was on the mend, looking bright and dewy.
