I first met Jenny when she photographed my friends wedding in 2015 and just absolutely loved Jenny's personality and the moments she was able to capture. Fast forward to 2017 when I was looking for a wedding photographer and Jenny was one of the first photographers who popped into my mind! My husband and I got married on a weekday and Jenny was super accommodating with our day time ceremony, after ceremony photos and with our dinner banquet. We were sooo awkward being photographed but Jenny made us comfortable and guided us so we wouldn't have those awkward ducky face kissing photos among so many other things! I learned there are unnatural feeling poses you would have to do, but with the slight bend of the arm or tilt of the chin, Jenny captured such beautiful photos on our wedding day! We worked with Jenny again in 2021 when she was offering her mini sessions. Even though she was on vacation before our session date, she still kept in touch through email, updating us on weather conditions (our photo session date was going to be a super rainy day). Jenny offered a refund or a reschedule and we opted to reschedule. Since we live in San Francisco, Jenny offered several locations in San Francisco (bless her heart for driving all the way from the East Bay!!) and we chose the Presidio. Jenny was our wedding photographer, and my husband and I absolutely loved working with her! She is so sweet and her sunny disposition was an added bonus to the whole experience. Before the wedding, she met with us to do a walkthrough of the venue and used her aesthetic eye to point out the best places to take the pics, and also took into consideration some of the "must have" pics that we wanted. My husband and I are forever grateful that Jenny was able to capture one of the best days of our lives!! She captured all the essence and emotions during the day better than we can remember it at our wedding. Jenny did our maternity photos back in November 2021 and newborn session in January 2022. Jenny is very friendly and professional. She cares about what you want and provided a long list of locations for us to choose. We chose Elizabeth Gamble Garden in Palo Alto, because I like the garden theme. I was not disappointed, there were still flowers blooming there in November. Even though there were a lot of people also doing photoshoot that day, Jenny was somehow able to avoid the crowd and didn't waste any time. She took tons of pictures within the 45 mins or so session. I like how she told us how to pose because otherwise we wouldn't know what to do and look awkward. She was quick in editing the photos and we were very pleased to see them so soon and I was able to print them right before my baby shower to show them to family and friends. For the newborn session, Jenny was on time, very gentle and patient with the baby while handling and changing her. My baby was awake most of the session but she didn't make a fuss at all. My Husband and I wanted some photos shot for our 1 year anniversary! I contacted Jenny through her website and she was quick to respond to our questions and concerns and professional in all her emails and calls. We found her prices to be very reasonable and since we just got married a year ago, we know the going rate for a good photographer. Jenny was very approachable when it came time to take our photos. She made my husband and I very comfortable, was able to get a lot of natural poses and laughter out of us and it showed in our photos. Jenny's style is really unique since she uses BOTH film AND digital cameras. We got a great mix of super clear and crisp digital photos as well as super soft and naturally lit film photos and to my surprise, they were ALL untouched and perfect! Having taken engagement and wedding photos, I can see a big difference in Jenny's work. She is careful about taking each and every shot but definitely not slow! She is assertive and directed my husband and I in every pose, fixed my bangs when the wind blew, and took the time to walk over and adjust us so we looked as natural as possible.
