Had a great experience at JCPenney studio. Made an online reservation for 8 girls 3 children to do some photos together. We arrived a little bit before our reservation and got everything squared away with our photographer. Our photographer Nicole, was so awesome! She 100% understood what our intentions were. We were there for 'awkward' family photos, which she helped us with our poses and was so patient with us as we were laughing away the whole time. Overall our photos turned out great and hilarious, just how we wanted them. Price wasn't terrible, especially since we split with 8 girls, around $200 after our coupons. I love me some JcPenney Portraits! One thing for sure, you cannot be late because they will not take you sometimes. We came the week of thanksgiving week (which I wouldn't do again) It just was so busy BUT we were well taken care of. Our photographer (female, amazing! I will find out her name) was so great. She had great suggestions for poses, made my son feel comfortable in front of the camera, she was really great! Afterwards, another wonderful female took the time to pick out my pictures are Christmas cards with me. They always have a coupon so make sure you look online for one! I don't even know what to say. I came in for a shoot with my 2 month old babies. The photographer and assistant were good people -- polite, courteous, patient and helpful; but the photos are so bad it is embarrassing. They weren't prepared to handle babies (no white noise machine, for instance, and swaddle skills were not great) but it was also everything about the studio and photos: bad composition and framing, subpar lighting, bad placement of the props... Just don't. The price, even though it is cheap, it is not worth it. read more

Bad service!! When my family came for the photo shoot, we were only allowed a few minutes. Everything was rushed, and no one helped us adjust our outfits--even though our clothes were visibly out of place. There wasn't even a mirror for us to check ourselves before the shoot. After the photos were taken, we were told we would receive them in a few days. But we waited over half a month before we finally got them--only because we followed up. They had forgotten to print our photos and only remembered after we reminded them. When I finally received the photos, I was very disappointed. During the consultation, they asked me to choose between 4x6, 5x7, or other large and small sizes. I chose 5x7, but when I received the prints, two of them were split into smaller duplicates. I was furious and messaged the fanpage, and they told me that's how they print 5x7--by splitting it into two small ones. No one had explained this to us beforehand, and yet I had to pay for their mistake. So what's the point of giving us two small photos--in case my spouse and I divorce and each take one? That's crazy. And the worst part? When I asked for the digital files, they said I had to pay nearly $100 extra just to get them--when I only wanted to share them on Facebook or Instagram. Terrible experience. I booked an extended appointment for 30 minutes because I wanted to do family pictures, sibling pictures and individual pictures but only got regular 15 minute appointment. Honestly I wouldn't have mind if they got good pictures but the photographer didn't even say anything to us, we were just literally standing and he would only snap one picture and move on to different person. I was really disappointed as I had my little one in the snap of the family photo he took my baby eyes were closed. We literally had only one pose to choose from as that's all the options we received. Also my appointment was at 4:30 and they didn't take us in until 4:45 so that's might be the reason I didn't get my extended appointment which was not my fault. The pictures they took were fine enough but they misled me about the pricing. To get your photos digitally you are required to purchase a wildly expensive digital package. I purchased some physically and they sent me glossy even though I ordered matte. The photos were edited without my permission, they were printed unevenly, and the colors were off. I wasn't going to write a review but I saw someone else's review that said the photos came out embarrassing and YEAH. The photographer and person at the desk were helpful and nice but the pictures were BAD. My newborn daughter had lint in her hair (I brushed before the photo but must've gotten there from the pillow she was laying on for the photo). Then we did photos with mom and dad. The photographer didn't correct our posing. She told my husband to kiss my head. We have a photo of my husband legit kissing my whole head of hair instead of my forehead. Kind of sad we came here for newborn family photos because the photos aren't something I'd want to show people or hang up in my house. For my next kid, I'll gladly pay a more experienced photographer instead of paying ~$170 here. JC Penney photos are a thing of the past. The photographer could do better. We came to do my daughter's school photo retake (due to illness) and had a smooth and wonderful experience from start to finish! I booked an appointment online and put my credit card info down for a $25 deposit in case of no show or cancellation, but it wasn't charged since we kept our appointment. This studio is on the 2nd floor of JCPenney, which is very clean and organized, and reminds me of being in the mall in the 1990's (in a good way - nostalgic!). Photographer & studio manager J was INCREDIBLE!! Studio Lifetouch vs. School Lifetouch has different backgrounds, and she did her best to match as best as possible. She is such a pro with the kids, with great energy and direction - our photos turned out fantastic and we all had lots of fun. I purchased the digital package so we could have all the raw files, plus a sheet of prints for the grandparents. I got the digital files via Shutterfly the same day and the prints will come via mail in a couple weeks. I would definitely come back to do photos again. Bad service/experience!! When my family came for the photo shoot, we waited 45minutes past our appt time. We were told the previous customer had some issues. This should not affect us. We felt rushed, and no one helped us adjust our clothes. There was no mirror for us to check ourselves before the shoot. The photographer only took 1 photo in each pose which frustrated me because of family talking or eyes blinking. Because our time was bumped we had to leave for another appt this was family wedding pix as our son did a court house ceremony. The photographer said come back later I stated some family members have to leave she stated that's ok we got plenty with them. At 6pm we returned she said photos were not uploaded and the system is down so she can't take the pictures we were returning for. Come in tomorrow at NOON. We were angry but returned. Photographer was 20min late arriving she was the only 1 working but this time all extended family had left town and could not do pictures so we did some immediate family. I was angry since we had to put wedding clothes on again. She then said come back in 2 hours we said no we'll wait. We did and after 45 minutes she had the pictures up on the screen. NOW I'm Pissed, she only had the photos we just took. When we asked where are the ones from yesterday with the grandparents she said non of them came out. Our folks are in their 80s and had planes and trains to return home now we may not see them again for any type of photos. My son was crushed and he's special needs to boot. Photographer said sorry nothing I can do. Of the pix she did take only about 5 were good. Since we have nothing else we said we'd get them. She wanted us to pay for 2 sittings I refused I said we were delayed because of other client and you told us to return and never mentioned another fee. She then started with a pkg of $800!!!! after several attemps to get cost down and each time only dropping by $50 or $100 I said how much per print. I ended up buying them that way but unable to get the digital files. The grandparents are upset and more upset when I said we could not get the digital files to send them. We still don't have any on Shutterfly or Lifetouch. It took 3 weeks for them to come in. Plus we didn't get our free 8x10. Worst service ever, higher proper staff be professional and dress that way our photographer looked like she'd just rolled out of bed. Terrible experience. Irresponsible. Save your money and book elsewhere. We were scheduled for photos at 4:15 and I managed to arrive a few minutes earlier given we were bringing a 3 month old baby and 5 year old along so I didn't want to arrive late and sure enough, when our session began at 4:15 they called in a couple and our family had to wait although we arrived on time. Both kids were very impatient. When it came time to take photos we are supposed to have a 15 minute session and we're quickly tossed around into 3 different repetitive poses for 9 minutes and rushed out for the next family to begin. Completely uncalled for and unfair given it was my oldest first experience taking photos and he didn't understand why it was so quick and we get people show up late but they should've been rescheduled rather than throwing the whole schedule back and rushing through sessions. My 5 year olds eyes were closed in more than half the pictures but we purchased anyways as it's already hard enough to get the kids ready and out of the house as it is there was no way we'd be able to retake them. So disappointed, $200 wasted. I wouldn't complain or mind paying that for quality photos, these were low resolution - camera needs to be updated. Their a studio, they can at least invest in that especially after how much money they make for a 5-10 minute photo session. read more

The worst experience ever!! I used to be the #1 fan of JCPENNEY Portrait studio. Been taking my grandson there for 14 years. I took him there in Dec. to get Christmas cards. I ordered 2 prints and 3 boxes of cards. I wanted to sit in my house and think about what prints I wanted to order instead of in the chaos at the mall. I also had coupons for prints for 1.99 each vs. 6.99 each at the studio. Well, they never sent me anything (proofs, pics) on line to choose from. I call the studio. They tell me to set up a Shutterfly account to view them. I have a Shutterfly account from last year. 2025 pics are not there. I call back the studio. They say," oh, you should have gotten an email from JC Penney/Lifetouch. Well I didn't. Now 3 companies are involved to play the blame game. I call Shutterfly and they tell me that since I didn't order the digital package I will have to go to the store to place an order. Btw, I have never ordered the digital package and have always had access to order prints. Annoyed, I ask if I can use that coupon at the studio. They said yes. So I look up store hours in Holyoke , MA., and it said 10-7pm. I know they close when they go to lunch, so I purposely went at 3:25pm before dinner. They have the entrance roped off and no one there. I go to the hair salon and ask if they can call someone to help me. That woman said that they were probably on a break. I asked how long a break was and she said probably a half hour. Mind you, I have no clue if they JUST went on break or would be back any minute. My husband was waiting in the car as we only came to do this. So we wait outside and the woman returns around 3:50. We saw her walking in. I explain my dissatisfaction with the fact that there was no sign saying where they were or when they would return. She says,"sorry, I forgot to turn it around". She shows me the sign that says they are on a break. I said," there is no information as to how long a customer has to wait for someone to return." I tell her this story and she said I can order there on line. I SHOWED her my coupon. I look thru the pics and pick out about 8. Then she says," So you want the 6.99 prints". I said ,"Yes, but I have this coupon for 1.99 a print". Like I said , I had already showed her this. Here's the kicker..She said, "You can't use that here, you have to order digitally!" Well that's impossible if I can't get the pics. At this point I told her,"Never mind, I don't want any." And walked out. As I was leaving she asks me if I'm sure I don't want any. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that no one is going to want to pay an extra $5 a pic. The photographer was awful as well. No personality, no ideas. I would suggest something (like what to write on the Christmas cards) and she would look at me with her lip up in the air, and say,"You REALLY want THAT????" Luckily my 14 year old grandson suggested he pick up his seven year old brother for a pic. Little did I know he picked him up from his leg so he was hanging upside down and they were both cracking up". We used that for the Christmas card and I can only imagine what that photographer thought. We didn't have a good photographer in 2024 either, but it wasn't this bad. I will not be returning. I believe I was dealing with the studio manager who did absolutely NOTHING to make this right. read more

Photos subpar and full resolution not provided after paying for them. Service was terrible. After purchasing the digital photos, I was provided 4-5 MB photos without good enough resolution for the larger prints I wanted to order that were offered with the package. The images were blurry, out of focus, and just not high resolution enough. My iPhone quick family snaps are clearer with better resolution. This was a real disappointment, waste of money, and even more importantly, it's such an enormous hassle to get little kids in nice clothes for a photo shoot. We have no other days available for a repeat session so won't be able to have good family photos before the holidays as is our tradition. I would never go with JCPenney again. I tried many times to speak with someone and left messages for the manager when no one would reach out to see if the photographer might have accidentally uploaded low-resolution photos. I would have been happy if someone would just reach out to the photographer and see if the better res photos were available. They would not reach out to the photographer the booked us with and the manager never returned my calls. We did the JCPenney outdoor photo option. Also, scheduling was challenging. I had to call 4 times to get anyone to tell us where to meet the photographer. It was a stressful, frustrating, and overall disappointing experience. And, I was not looking for anything fancy. Just basic family photos, in focus, with resolution good enough to order 8x10 to 16x20" photos. We went yesterday to do eighth birthday pictures for my son. The staff was professional and followed all COVID-19 restrictions. Do you do that Internet connection I was unable to pull up my Groupon voucher for the session. They were courteous enough to let me go outside and figure out if I could download a voucher and since I still had issues. They re- rescheduled the appointment for me the following Saturday to view the photos. I could not be more pleased with their patience, customer service and overall experience. JCPenney Portrait Studio - We brought in a frame made of flowers as a prop! - Session Photography Near Me - Hayward, California

I am very unhappy with my current experience. My husband and I took portraits on 11/30. First of all, the camera malfunctioned 3 pictures into our portrait time. It took some time and a few phone calls, but the manager was able to get a back-up camera online about 15 minutes later. However, by that time, other customers were lined up waiting for their photos and although the manager was VERY nice and accommodating, the pictures looked rushed to me (shirts out of place, unflattering angles, etc). I feel, if the camera had not malfunctioned, the photographer would have been able to be a little more attentive to how we appeared before having to rush to take our photos. We had a Groupon for 60 2-sided holiday cards. We presented the Groupon to the store staffer who helped us to order our cards. I specifically informed the staffer that the Groupon was for 60 2-sided holiday cards, to which he replied "Wow, you got a really good deal!" (So I know he heard me.) However, 2 weeks later, we only received 12 holiday cards. I called the store and spoke to another manager, only to find that the servers were down. She called me back and informed me that she had corrected the order and that the ETA for the remainder of our order was 12/16. On 12/12, I received an email that our photos had shipped. On 12/13, I received a second email stating the same thing. I checked the tracking link daily, only to find it stuck on the "Shipping Label Created" status. Our promised date came and went with no order received. The next day, on 12/17, I received another email stating that JC Penny Portraits is unable to guarantee a date for my holiday cards. I am a patient and forgiving person but at this point, I'm furious! I called and spoke to the manager again who told me that the servers were once again down, but gave me their 1-800 number to call for assistance. I called the number and was told that my wait time would be 39 minutes, which I was unable to wait for because I had an appointment to attend. I tried again on Monday and wait times were up to 190 minutes. I've emailed with no response, I've chat messaged with no response, and have even called the store once more to learn that the servers were STILL down and they had no way to refund me. I understand that technical malfunctions happen, but these camera and server malfunctions are a little extreme. I want to make it very clear that the managers, photographers , and the staffer were all extremely nice, friendly, and professional and I understand that mistakes happen. But at this point, I am beyond frustrated and dissatisfied with the results. read more

Would never recommend this place. First of all the photos turned out bad, the photographer changed the poses but only changed angles once! Then with each pose took one shot each and that's it... super disappointed because that doesn't give much room in narrowing down what pictures you'd want to keep, especially when most of the poses were so awkward and forced. On top of that, the lady half-assed "edited" the pictures when trying to sell it to us. Literally just choosing random frames & adding stickers without even properly cropping/centering them into the damn frame. Last but not least, the photographer lady was RUDE. She said several passively aggressive and disrespectful comments like, "Oh wow, you are not prepared for this photo shoot" when fixing my hair or to my boyfriend, "Your shirt is really wrinkled yikes can you fix it because you can tell just how wrinkles it is on camera." I echo with all the negative reviews here. The place is so small and located in a tiny corner without much signs. I had an appointment for 12.15 and reached well in advance but ended up wasting some time to locate the place with a toddler. When we finally reached we were 4-5 mins late and the person on desk denied us entry. I was shocked.! We spent 2 hrs getting ready and reaching this tiny place only to know we cannot take pictures. I understand the rules and if I am late, I may loose my turn. This is totally acceptable, but what was more hitting was the arrogance and rudeness of the staff. They started shouting and talking rudely for no reason at all. On top of this, they argued more when we requested to be put on waitlist in case of any cancelations. After all this we did not really want any pictures takes and just wanted our appointment canceled, and guess what the manager was lazy to even do that. She started shouting to say that it will be automatically canceled (it was not, I had checked online) until told several times to just cancel it. Not coming back to this place surely. And now after reading other reviews glad we did not get pictures here, people dont seem happy with the photographs anyway. read more

It's bad y'all. I thought we'd go get the kids' picture taken for a cheesy Xmas card. I made an appointment, which they then had to reschedule for the next day, which is fine, whatever. They told me several times over the phone to not be late, also fine, whatever. But then when we arrived--on time--to our appointment, we couldn't be helped until a full hour later. Even then, I was like, it's fine, things get backed up. We finally got into the studio, and things perked up--the kids were cute and she tried a few different poses. Nothing groundbreaking, but that's ok, we were going for corny. The session itself is wild short (website says 15 minutes but it was more like a max of 10) and within that time frame she took 49 images. The wait to see the images was about 30 more minutes. The prices are an actual robbery for the quality. There's a "sitting fee" of $14.99 per person in the photo, and then, with a 40% off coupon, the digital rights to all the images was $119.99. Craaaaaazy but ok. It's the kids, we have to do it. The lady who helped me said that when you spend over $100, you get a "$50 jcpenny gift card" which made me feel a little better .... Until I found out it's $50 toward buying "PHOTOS AT YOUR NEXT SESSION." She didn't say that. The final pain point was all the registers were down so I had to follow this lady out to the bombed-out looking store to pay my billion dollars. Just generally very icky transaction. Save yourself the trouble and stick to the trusty iPhone camera. Next year I'll do the right thing and find a local photographer. read more

Wish I could give this zero stars. Our experience was an absolute nightmare. From start to finish we were there for 3 1/2 hours with eight little kids. We had an appointment at two and arrived promptly at 1:45 and checked in. We were not called back until 245 and Watched people walk in weight and walk out. The so-called photographer seemed like she had never taken a photo in her entire life. Thankfully, my husband does photography so I was able to position the kids and add some decorative Christmas items into the photo. She sat there and watched as I did all this, and it was so slow to take the picture, and when she did, there was always someone with their eyes closed, and she did not snap more than one. I can't believe they would hire someone like this. We had a Groupon for three digital images and one 8 x 10 print. We really only had one decent one to choose but we chose three even though we didn't like them. Then we chose our 8 x 10 print and we're told that it will be $10 for shipping and there's no longer an option to pick up. What a complete waste of money. This place is overbooked, unprofessional, lacking any ability to photograph!! We've been here in the past and have never had a problem like this. To say we are disappointed is a complete understatement, and I want everyone to know if you want professional photos, never go there especially with children. I came into this studio to do my maternity photo's and family photo's for Christmas. Coming to this studio was a waste of time and money. The photographer was very inexperience, and did not deliver what I was expecting. The photographer did not help to emphasize that I am expecting, angles were totally off, the backdrops had a crease touching the floor, props to use for the photo's were cut off in the photo's, and a couple solo photo's of my child and family photo's were not centered! I paid for the electronic disk, so that, I can have all the prints. And, "they all look like CRAP!" Thank goodness, I didn't spend more money on having any prints made! I called their customer service to complain and try to get a refund; however, per their policy they can only do retakes! Please, save your time and money, and go with an actual photographer who has the experience to give you what you want. read more

The appointment wasnt what I expected. The shoot started late. The photographer was nice but she should could work on how she read people. She constantly referred to my four year old daughter as a boy after I corrected her numerous times. She didnt stop until my daughter yelled Im not a boy. She then said Im sorry your crazy hair threw me off but all of you guys have crazy hair. Which was very rude. I expected more pictures with different angles but I didnt get that. She also took photos when my children was even smiling. She also implied we were from Africa because I decided to do an African theme outfit for one set of pictures. I felt very uncomfortable and my children were very upset once we left. I think some training on how to treat your clients and what not to say could be used at this location. We were at the studio in San Diego on Frairs road. And as you can see I spent a lot of money on these photos because its a lot getting toddlers dressed and taking family pictures. I just found out that my dog was suffering from a tumor affecting her breathing. She needed to be put down 2 days following that heart breaking phone call. Hiring a local photographer for a family photo shoot was definitely out of the question since you need to book weeks in advance but I was able to book an appointment at JCPenny online for the next day. I was not aware of the pet policy but when Ashley called to confirm my appointment, she listened to my story and was able to accommodate us. I was already starting to cry when I thought she was going to turn us away. At our appointment, Ashley was our photographer. She is very sweet and professional. My dog hates the camera and often looks away when I try to take her photo but Ashley was able to snap a few great pics of my baby girl. She gave us $50 off a really great package, got $30 off the sitting fee, and on top of that, our package came with a $50 gift card for a future visit! What a steal! She really went above and beyond my expectations, I'm excited to bring my human baby in for our next visit. read more

This studio is very small compare to their Pleasanton location. Booked a newborn/family picture session with them through Groupon but it reallie didn't come out great...our photographer was nice but I don't understand why she would just take my baby picture with her diaper still on. We had a swaddle blanket but she didn't want to cover her diaper at all. The picture looked awkward ...I felt like I wasted the precious time to get my baby pictures taken there...if you know how hard to get a 2 weeks old baby and a 3 years old toddler ready to go out. I did a session with the JC penny at Pleasanton with my first baby and it was great! I regretted coming to this one... Just to clarify how the Groupon work, you still have to pay extra money to buy extra posts they have taken otherwise you only get to choose 3 poses or 1 depending on which Groupon you get. I ended up just paying another $80 dollars to buy the whole digital CD which is not bad. I just wish the photographer have taken better pictures... read more

I rarely write Yelp reviews and this is my 2nd one. This review is mostly for the absolutely amazing photographer we had for our session. Her name was Sydney and she made the whole experience sooo much fun. We have kids aged 3 and 5 and its not easy to get their attention and get them to pose. Not only did she get them to pose but made it super fun for them. The photographs that came out were probably the best family pics we have had till now. Thanks so much Sydney. I just reduced one star because ordering additional digital images is impossible unless you order the whole album which is very expensive. It's my son's first Xmas so we wanted to do a family holiday card. Booked an appt for 12:30pm on Saturday. First off, the studio is so tiny and there are no signs at jc penny to point you to the direction. Secondly, JC penny needs to space out appointments more! Especially during a pandemic. When we got there, there were 2 photographers. One was showing the pictures to a group and another was shooting photos. My husband, 4 month old son, and I stood there for a good 20-30 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. You can imagine how hard it is to keep a 4 month old entertained and awake for so long... the appointment details literally said it would only take 15 mins! I didn't anticipate waiting so long to even be acknowledged. When it was finally our turn to take photos, it felt so rushed...! Photographer was really nice but the next appt walked in and she unfortunately needed to keep it moving which I understand. But please jc penny, try to follow social distancing guidelines! The studio is not even 300 sq ft and there were at least a dozen people in there at a time. Jc penny needs to find a better way to show pictures on the computer. The photographer has to use a computer to navigate and control showing the photos. This is time consuming as you can't click on what you want to see. On top of that, they only have 2 people working and 1 computer! We waited a long time for the party before us in order to look at how our pictures came out. The whole process took us 2.5 hours!! We were there 2.5 hours! My infant son was so tired and crying as were all the other babies. After receiving our digital album, I now understand why the photographer kept "enhancing" our photos...the curtains used for the shoot were so wrinkly and not at all straightened out. Really terrible!! I contacted jc penny to complain once I got my photos and all they offered me was a reshoot or 50% off! Really??? There is 9 days until Xmas and it is so difficult to find a time to be able to get my infant son ready for a 3 hour field trip. My last complaint is the photographer rushed us to pick our photos as lots of people started coming in. She didn't even ask me what text I wanted to write on our holiday cards! I felt rushed and forgot to ask. Now I have a bunch of holiday cards I must hand write with a greeting! read more

I would give this zero stars if I could. My family made an appt for a session Saturday afternoon. When we got there the lobby was crowded and we were told the system double booked sessions so our wait time would be 40mins. She offered to reschedule for a session the following Friday evening at 6:45. When we got there Friday night the person working said there was no appointment for me at all that evening. She said we could wait 15mins as a walk on and she helped the next customer who had a 7pm appt. She told them they would have to wait until my family finished. About 15mins later they walked the customer back who arrived after us telling me that since I didn't have an appt they would have to take the other customers first. She straight lied to me and had no regard for our situation and treatment. She did not apology or care about the impact or outcome. What happened to customer service?????? First of all, I had an appt at JC Penny studio with my 4 year old son. After waiting over an hour he was getting very impatient as a 4 year old would be. They re-assured a ton of times we were next, I was about to leave as finally we were let in, the actual photo session went fine surprisingly, after that I ordered the x-mas cards and regular portraits and they were shipped and my sons name was spelled wrong, (portraits came fine) instead if LANDON the name was cut off and it says LANDO, called right away and they were shipping me new cards free of charge, they would up having system issues and all the cards were backed up, I demanded a refund and they were only able to give me 25% off and the shipping refund, I will never use this service again, the old cards wound up being shipping with the wrong name. read more

TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH WITH COUPON CODES Went there for Christmas photos of my toddler grandson for his parents for Christmas. All went normal until the bait and switch. I booked the appointment under a coupon offer online, but they needed a "coupon code" as well which now I couldn't find on the spot at the check out. Finally I said forget it I'll just pay the sitting fee and consider this a lesson learned. So I left really mad. I got a toddler who fell asleep in the car to smile for photos which 80% of them were awful....and then the photo sheets were 19.99 a piece instead of 6.99. they had the coupon code and knew exactly what I was. Talking about, but would rather lose the sale than honor it. Then I went and calmed down and found the effing coupon code, went back and luckily my photographers went to lunch and someone else helped me. My coupon included 6.99 sheets and 40% off other non sheet merchandise I got 3 metal tiles for 14.99 each and asked about the 40% off and she said that's on things besides sheets of pictures. Pretty sure a metal tile is not a sheet of photos, but here we were again not honoring the coupon code, but I was in too deep making this 18 month old pose for this shoot, I couldn't walk away now and that's what they are betting on. I suggest you talk price and coupons before anyone sits for a single picture. Take control early on or they will try and overcharge you and pull the old bait and switch.......and to be honest I would have gotten more products if the coupon was honored, but instead my order was small. Going to go back after the holidays and try to buy more just to see if they will honor the next coupon or not. It will be a different game without the whole photo shoot and toddler getting fussy. it also takes old school two weeks to get prints, unless you buy the digital package for over 100.00. My parents took my daughter to have her photos taken and the photo results were poor. The background's blemishes were not touched up like they normally are in other photo studios I've been to. The stars do not refer to the photographer because I was not there and my parents didn't have a problem with them. I was just hoping for better clean up and brighter pictures. read more

It's not the best JC Penny to go to but they do get the job done. However this time around I ordered a Groupon deal and was suppose to get 35 cards. When I picked up my pictures, there were only 12 cards inside. I immediately told them and they had to place another order in and said it would take 1-2 weeks for it to come in. Luckily, it came within a weeks time. Overall, they get the job done but not the best to go to. read more

Had a photo session with Lizzie yesterday and I must say, it was the best experience I've had at a photo studio! She did just a great job working with my newborn and my 4 year old son. The photos turned out great, way better than what I had ever expected. I will definitely be back for more family photos! read more

Wow Wow Wow. Jessica did a great job. We were late and she stayed over to help us. Not only did she do a great job, but she drives sometimes two hours to home and we were so grateful she took the time late in the day to extend her tme.
