[[HIGHLIGHT]]Its unfortunate when you leave a review reflecting a poor experience - that does not often happen but when it does it is truly due to something needing to be addressed - and Jenny immediately calls asking to take the review down and she will make it right by addressing the problem and then when I "come in again" she would cover my pedicure to make it right.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Well I am here today to state the problem has been addressed the employee is no longer working there as she working at another salon however- there was no mention in the call as to a time frame for my return to have another pedicure and I guess I was too late. So in conversation with Jenny she said to repost the poor review. This time however feels different to me. Several of my friends and family use the services at Jenny's Nails - I have always confirmed that if something isn't done how you like it Jenny will make it right and she has the few times , (maybe 3 times in the last 10 years) fixed it no problem. My husband often picks up gift cards for Christmas for all of us girls and I have sent people needing some pampering there and for the most part trusted that to be a great choice. I struggle now to stand by that. Horrible experience. I went in with my two daughter's for a pedicure. myself and my youngest daughter paid for the deluxe pedicure which includes a 6 minute massage which we did not receive. Both of our technicians seemed in a hurry and harsh. My daughter had a portion of her nail cut of off by the tech. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this salon was so frustrating that I feel compelled to share it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Before coming in, I called to ask if they were busy because my daughter and I wanted to get our nails done together. I was told they were slow and to come in. When we arrived, the salon was practically empty, so I was shocked when they seated us far apart from each other.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of the reasons we came together was to enjoy the experience together, and there was no reason we couldn't have been seated side by side. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The biggest issue, however, was the complete lack of communication and customer service from my nail technician.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When he asked what I wanted, I showed him a picture of the exact design. It was a French tip with a white powder base, flowers on the ring finger, and gold glitter near the cuticle. Instead of listening to what I asked for, he immediately started pushing chrome nails. I repeatedly told him that I did not want chrome and wanted the design shown in the picture.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He quoted me $70, and I agreed. But when he started the service, he used pink powder instead of white. I stopped him and told him that wasn't what I wanted. Rather than correcting it, he told me it would look better and continued. At that point, I was extremely irritated. I wasn't asking for his opinion, I was paying for a service and expected the design I requested. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After realizing he wasn't following the picture, I tried to simplify things. I told him to skip the French tip and just continue with a glitter shimmer polish. Instead of listening, he once again tried to convince me to get chrome. When I said no, he suggested ombré. I said no to that as well. It felt like every suggestion I made was ignored while he continued trying to do what he wanted[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. What happened next was unbelievable. After all of the back and forth, he applied a single coat of clear polish and told me I was finished. I honestly couldn't believe it. I left feeling like my time had been wasted and that no effort had been made to provide the service I requested. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and to have my preferences listened to. I understand that nail technicians may have suggestions, but there is a huge difference between offering advice and completely disregarding what the customer wants. Throughout the appointment, I felt ignored, dismissed, and frustrated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The entire experience was unprofessional and disappointing. Instead of leaving with nails I loved and a pleasant experience with my daughter, I left upset and feeling like I had paid for a service that was never actually provided. I went and had a mani and pedi done this morning. It was the first manicure that left my hands sore. I'm in pain as I write this message. My cuticles were pick so badly that I left with bloody fingers. And I still have skin sticking out all over. First manicure ever that she didn't put cuticle oil on my fingers before being worked on and first time I never hand lotion on my hands. As for my pedi my feet are still ruff on the bottom and I had to tell her to cut my toe nails or she wouldn't have done it. I will not be returning back to this place. I'm from Houston, TX and spend summers in UT. I'm use to having excellent work for less the price. Not worth my time and for sure is not worth my money. read more

My nail tech was incredibly rude and acted inconvenienced when I asked her to reshape my nails and laughed when I said I wanted extra short almond nails, the shape was not consistent and totally botched. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I showed her my hand and pointed out specific nails not being shaped the way I had wanted she pushed my hand down and said "I'm not finished."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She was incredibly rough and did a poor job applying the tips and acrylic. The acrylic was applied so thick and the tips were too big for each of my fingers and hanging off the edge of the nails. When I pointed this out and said it was poking me all she did was apply nail glue? I took off all the gel because it looked so bad and tried to make my nails look decent and noticed the acrylic is somehow already lifting on my thumb. The gel was dripping off the brush when she applied it to my nails and didn't clean up the edges well. My cuticles also weren't touched and look awful. Gel manicure was initially good but Mai missed some critical steps as far as using clean/sanitized tools and cleaning nails prior to base coat application - result was severe burning and an eventual painful bacterial nail infection that required antibiotics. Honestly I'm so sad that I'll have to find a new place to go. My entire family have been goi to Jenny's for over three years and none of us will be back. My grandmas nail tech was watching her phone! Yeah her phone until she cut my grandma with a file. My nail tech was using the e file way too much every layer of my natural nail was gone I had to soak off my nails they hurt so bad. They also cut my cuticle and put glue on it and rubbed it in!!! This place was great until recently I gave them a few extra chances and every time has been terrible recently. What a waste of $100+ what a waste of my time and my family's time. Getting your nails done should not be painful, and should not be bloody. Thanks a lot. read more

Not my favorite. I booked a pedi & mani for my daughter and I prior to the birth of her son. I did not anticipate that the services would be done simultaneously. it was awkward and the quality suffered. All the technicians seems very rushed. It felt hectic not relaxing. My toes had a lot of overlap of the gel polish on my skin. I had to clip it off when I took my sock off. And we paid $200 + dollars. Meh! read more

This time I scheduled a full set and a pedicure. Tracy did my full set. It came out great not perfect but great. My gel pedicure was great as well. Tracy was very attentive.
