We take our girls to Jenny's Salon for their haircuts. We have been pleased with every visit! Our girls see their junior stylist, Zoe, and she is fantastic! Always bubbly and welcoming and kind. And she is so good with the girls (ages 9 and 4). She chats with them the whole time and makes them feel special :) Our youngest especially loves her because she always gives her "Anna braids" after her cut. She even starts asking for them immediately when we tell her we're taking her for a haircut. We highly recommend Zoe! The salon itself is also great! The decor and vibe makes you want to be there. Two couches for seating while you wait and the always have some sort of dessert to offer as a sweet treat. They also have coffee and waters for their customers. And the ladies at the counter are also always welcoming and polite. You definitely feel like you are a valued client there. Oh, and I also love that you can book appointments online... picking your stylist and the services you want. You can even see available time slots so you can play around with it to fit your schedule. This is second time that I have gone to Jenny's since my regular hairdresser left there and both times have been an utter disaster. My hair looks nothing like the picture. I asked for a certain length she barely took an eighth of an inch off my hair. There is absolutely no layers to it which I specifically asked for. Thank God, I don't have anywhere to be before I can go and get it cut somewhere else. I to the person at the front desk kind and sympathetic, but offered no help or solution. read more

If I had to choose one word for Jenny's salon, it would be chaotic. Unfortunately, it is very un-organized , with no receptionist. The entry of Jenny's is pretty, nice, and modern. The first time I visited Jenny's was a long time ago, pre-pandemic. I don't remember who did my hair, but she wasn't very friendly and seemed to be under an immense amount of stress. Even after making an appointment, I remember sitting in the lobby for a long time waiting to be seen. My stylist was also double booked, even though I was only getting a haircut. I remember sitting in my chair waiting for her to come back. She had to get someone else to shampoo me.... Fast forward, I booked with someone who doesn't work there any more. I remember being on the phone with the "receptionist," she wasn't very friendly and didn't have good communication skills. When I arrived to the salon, there was no one sitting behind the desk to greet me. I sat in the lobby for at least 10 minutes with no greeting. I had to walk to the back to find my stylist. My stylist was amazing and did a great job with my hair. She is the only reason I'm not giving one star. The more recent visit, it was absolute chaos with people running around everywhere, no product to shampoo with, and dirty sinks. I remember one stylist -in-training being absolutely obnoxious and unprofessional, making inappropriate statements to my stylist while I was in the chair. I have followed my stylist to a new place so I haven't been back to Jenny's in a while. I hope things can change for their sake. read more

I went to Jenny's on 6/29 to get a color and a haircut. I have nothing but nice things to say about the stylists and employees- who go above and beyond for all their clients! I got highlights done in my hair so I look good for my grandmas celebration of life party- I was thrilled with the results, my stylist asked about my vision and excelled in making it look fabulous without my hair feeling dead. However, I was severely disappointed with Jenny Grafton the owner of Jenny's Salon. She's incredibly rude, disrespectful and demeaning to her employees. As a paying customer I don't enjoy witnessing the mistreatment and bullying of the stylist doing my hair. She was also extremely rude to me- a paying customer... Jenny you're a bully- do better. Life is hard enough as it is making a killing to survive life. No one deserves to be belittled and treated horribly while they're just trying to get their job done satisfactorily. If you decide to go to Jenny's please take this into consideration- management is the problem not the employees themselves. Tip your stylist as much as you possibly can they will serve you with grace, quality and care! read more

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Emily. After multiple rounds of horrible experiences with other stylists, she saved my blonde hair. I've been coming to this salon for the last 3 years and I'm glad to have found the "one." I had been hopping around salons trying to find someone who did a great job, friendly staff, clean and great atmosphere. This place checks all those spot. I've always struggled to find a salon I can go to consistently due to moving around, college, etc. but I think Jenny's is the place to change that for me. I heard about them from my aunt and she has nothing but great things to say so I thought I'd check it out. I called and made an appointment with Raymie to bleach my hair. If there's any advice I can give, it's use a better picture than I did to convey what you want done to your hair. I'm not sure why I only had bad lighting pictures queued in my phone, but I did. Raymie is an amazing stylist. She was attentive and got to know me throughout the appointment. I never felt ignored or forgotten, which I appreciated. She bleached my hair how the lighting made it look in the pictures so she's definitely accurate. I wasn't sure how to feel at first and thought that maybe I needed to get a couple of different looks at it. I found that I still didn't think it came out the way I had pictured in my mind. So I asked if there was a way it could be fixed and they were more than happy to make it happen. I went back in the next day and they were able to redo the color. The redo was perfect and I don't think that they know how thankful I am. I apologized for being an inconvenience and not having a great reference photo the first time. Now I know to use a better picture when I go next time. I definitely recommend going to Jenny's. They're all extremely knowledgeable and collaborate to make sure the best service is done. I have been going to Jenny's Hair Salon since I was 9 year old. I am 19 now. I have never been more satisfied with a hair salon which is why I haven't found a new one (even after moving 2 hours away). To begin, scheduling is very easy. You can go online and view bookings based on your schedule. You do have to give a credit card just to hold the appointment though. There are many options for stylists as well as offerings for your hair. They do men's, children, as well. I have been going to Emily forever and she is WONDERFUL. I am a very simply client, needing just a trim every now and then, but I have never been disappointed with my experience. The idea of switching (men's) hair stylists when I moved out here was almost paralyzingly scary, just because there is so many options at every price point. I first came here about 3 months ago and met with Emily (expert stylist, or whatever the top tier option is) and she not only gave me an excellent haircut, but went above and beyond to strategize a full years worth of hair care to get to a style that I wanted. All of this without trying to sell me on product or even being pushy about rescheduling, I rarely feel that cared for in a 30 minute haircut. Recently I revisit for some shaping with Teagan (junior stylist) who I can't imagine will be a junior stylist for much longer, as her work was thorough, quick and rivals some of the best haircuts I've ever had. The Solon is homey, as in it is a house, which I think is cool. The main building above the coffee shop was buzzing the whole time I was there, I even probably heard just a little bit too much of other customers personal drama they were spilling, we can chalk that up to free entertainment, not complaining. And I really can't imagine beating the price, especially booking with a junior stylist for just some minor work. I feel incredibly fortunate to have a salon like this in my area. read more

The 3 stars is not indicative of the service I received. Emily was excellent and did an outstanding job. The beverage service was a very nice touch and the shampoo service was wonderful. I was ready to become a regular. Until I checked out. Being a first time client, I booked online and paid "50%" down, which was $77. I thought it may be a bit more with a root touch up and partial highlights. But it was actually $360 total!! Nowhere did it say a trim was not included and was an additional $80! I've never heard of paying $360 for the service I received. Again, Emily and the staff were great, but the prices were much higher than I expected. read more

This salon is a hidden gem in Purcellville! I was in search of a salon to get a Keratin/Brazilian Blow Out treatment. I last had a Keratin treatment back in November 2018 and coming up on 6 months, I needed another treatment to get those straight, silky locks back in time for summer! I wanted to find a salon that had good reviews but also had a good print point for this treatment. Most salons start around $350+... I had contacted Jenny's Salon on the Facebook Messenger app on April 8th and had a reply within minutes! The person who I communicated with said they were running a special this month for $225. I asked if they had an opening the following weekend and I was booked for Saturday, April 20 at 9am. I arrived at the salon right at 9am and it was already buzzing with people! I was greeted by Melissa Coger and she took me straight back to her chair to talk about what I wanted. She recommend the Brazilian Blow Out for my hair. After several shampoos and a blow dry just to removed excess moisture, she started to apply the product. With the product still in my hair, she took a round brush to blow dry completely. She then sectioned my hair and flat ironed all my strands to seal in the product. I left the salon with shinny, frizz free, straight locks! Melissa did an excellent job and I would absolutely recommend her and Jenny's Salon for future hair treatments. read more

While I agree with everyone else, the salon is lovely, tranquil and classy, I was more impressed by Dana, the stylist who worked on my hair. Dana listened to what I wanted, carefully took the time to check out my fine and thinning hair and then proceeded to give me the best hair cut and perm I have ever had. The salon is friendly and welcoming which projects antipation of a great experience.and a bit of pampering., With all this excellent service I found the services costs are in line with most other quality salons.
