I called MANY other companies -- none of which could or were willing to provide assistance in getting me and my vehicle to safety. Once I was fortunate enough to reach Floyd's, help was on the way. They sent not 1 but 2 trucks and the drivers teamed up to get my vehicle loaded on a flatbed and hauled it, and me, to a local shop they recommended where I could not have been more warmly received. The driver of the first truck is named ADAM and of the second truck, JEREMY. These guys were STELLAR. They were genuinely concerned about my welfare and in helping me and treated me my vehicle with utmost respect. AND, I thought the price was very fair. THANK YOU GUYS. As you may guess, this is a negative review. - Original window for driver arrival window was within 1 hour of calling. Actual arrival was 2 hours after my initial call, and the office did not call me or AAA to acknowledge the late arrival. Luckily, AAA did follow-up. - The technician was unfamiliar with the vehicle's tool kit location and did not have proper bolt sockets (metric) for removing the lug nuts on the truck. Luckily, I had them in my garage, as well as in the vehicle's tool box. - Once the spare tire was placed it was found low on air. Driver had no compressor or other means of filling the spare tire. Luckily, I had my compressor. Tow technicians arriving unacceptably late to a simple tire change unprepared and without critical tools are not a great signs of their dispatch management or technical preparedness.

I just got back from Bere's showing them the damage around the clip hook on my van from the tow truck and how it yanked down and away from the vehicle causing bodily damage. Even though they should still be held liable, they will not take any responsibility.First, denying and dismissing that they did this and then secondly saying that its the rust underneath that caused this while they were towing it, and that its my problem, not theirs. I know my car is an older car but lots of cars have rust under them. Does this mean they should not be held responsible for the body damages they caused on the outside of the vehicle and possibly structurally underneath?I just filed a formal complaint with AAA (they contract out with Bere's for towing) and I am supposed to hear back from a service monitor within 5 days. I guess service monitors from AAA mediate with the towing company Bere's. I will let you know how this pans out. Stay posted. I had to call the damn police because…read moreI was charged $350 for a towing fee since the man claimed it was ok private property but Wisconsin towing laws says they cannot charge more than $150! Then was charged another $150 because it was a "keyless tow" since I had the key on my person. Then was charged $80 a day storage fee when again Wisconsin law says they can only charge $25 outdoor fee $35 for indoor fee. The car was towed ona Tuesday evening and I was released from jail and attempted to retrieve my vehicle on Friday morning (less than 3 days later) and they claim that they aren't open and wouldn't be open until Tuesday because Monday was a holiday (Memorial Day) & state law says they cannot charge for storage fees on days that they are not open for 4 hours or longer nor can then charge the storage fees for anything after the day of attempting to retrieve the car And then apparently there's these made up extra fees I'm being charged for a grand total of $1100 to get my car back . Are you in call the police to confirm these laws and the man laughed in the officer's face because even though it's illegal the officer cannot give him a ticket nor arrest him for it. Today, on one of the coldest days of the year, my always dependable Tesla's (270,000 miles!) battery ran out of energy a mile from a Kenosha Supercharger, due to my miscalculation. Stuck on the highway, Kico's dispatcher reached out to his broad network of drivers, and had someone at the scene in minutes. Because Kico's is approved by Tesla, its driver Nick -- knowledgeable and friendly! -- quickly opened the correct compartments, got the battery starting to warm, and then flat-bedded my Model S to a nearby Supercharger.
